This place was stronger than the entire lower dimension and establishing a place here will no be so easy . 
 "Are you afraid of battles ?". The dragon asked with a curious expression . 
 "No !". I shook my head . "I just find it a little troublesome ". The threat of the devourers was still there and coupled with this task again , it was quite a difficult thing to do . 
 "Oh , you must have something that is bothering you ". The dragon nodded in understanding . 
 "Do you know about the Devourers ?". I asked the dragon . 
 An expression of digust surfaced on the face of the dragon . "Those useless bastards ". The dragon gritted his teeth in anger . "Let's not talk about them for now . "
 "He must have suffered in their hands ". I thought silently . "Can you tell me the division of forces here ?". I asked . 
 "The first sky is ruled by the three king races namely the Skymoon race , ice dragon race and golden titians . The rulers of each race are all half step kings that are on the verge of ascending to the king realm because the first sky don't accommodate full fledged kings ". The dragon explained.  
 I nodded and continued my questions "Apart from the three races , are there any other strong clan I can take note of ?". 
 "Hmmm, below the three races , several clans that are ruled by supreme lords still exist and they call themselves the 12 Great clans ". The dragon paused and looked at me with glittering eyes . "Kid , to establish a base here will be very hard for you because the residents here are very hostile to outsiders ". 
 I shrugged my shoulders and said "This place is quite hidden , So I guess I will develop here without expanding wildly ". 
 The dragon nodded in agreement and said "You are quite wise compared to some of your predecessors . After the first inheritor fell , the second one ascended and immediately brandished his fists claiming that he will slaughter his way to the north and claim heamogeny ."
 A mocking expression surfaced on the face of the dragon as he continued "I warned him of the dangers but he still fought his way through despite his cultivation being at the peak of the Lord realm ". 
 An amused look flashed in the eyes of the dragon as he said "Guess what happened ?". 
 "He must have been defeated " . I said with certainty . 
 "He was not only defeated , his physical body was almost destroyed and he had to flee back to the origin world in a sorry state ". The dragon shook it's huge head and scoffed . "He came back the second time with heavenly lord cultivation and was shouting about some river flowing from East to West and that I should not look down on a poor youth ". 
 The dragon smiled slightly as he reminisced of the event " In the end , his physical body was destroyed and he fled back with only his soul , narrowly escaping death ". 
 My mouth twitched when I heard the dragon's story . 
 But why do I feel that the dragon was gloating in the predicament of the second inheritor . 
 Could he be a sadist ? 
 "All the inheritors had a hard time establishing themselves here , some were even beaten back to the origin world more then five times ". The dragon continued his story with pleasure written all over his face . 
 "Are all the races here that formidable ?". I asked with a curious expression . I was not frightened by what the dragon said rather I was intrigued by it . 
 The dragon chuckled and said "The environment here is very good so you can imagine the number of powerhouses here . Even the lowest tribe here have several demigods and tribulation demigods . So tell me how it will be easy to establish a base here with a couple of demigods ". 
 "Well , I will just keep a low profile ". I said calmly . I did not even have many demigod powerhouses under me but I was confident that I will not be defeated easily . 
 The dragon wanted to comment but he chuckled in the end and looked at me with interesting gaze as if he could not wait for something he was expecting to happen . 
 "Could this Dragon be plotting something ?". I thought silently as I heightened my vigilance . 
 "If you eventually subdue all races here , you will regain your Sovereign status ". The dragon said . 
 "What is the criteria for ascended to the second Sky ?". I asked . 
 "The king realm is the basic requirement for ascending to the second Sky ". A mysterious glint flashed in the eyes of the dragon . 
 So the king realm was the basic criteria for ascending to the second Sky so that means that stronger beings exist in the second Sky . I was really marveled at the mysteriousness of the Pagoda . 
 "Kid , the Pagoda is way more larger and mysterious than you think ". The dragon said . 
 I looked at the dragon and I noticed that I could not sense any slightest bit of cultivation from him . "How strong are you ?". I asked him . 
 "Don't even think about it , brat ". The dragon grinned widely . "I am bound by the rules of the Pagoda and I can only make a move when it is in danger ". 
 I sighed gently and shook my head with regret at the loss of a potential manpower . 
 "Before I forget , take note that the laws of the origin world will be changing after 50 years . All demigods will be rejected by the world will and will have to ascend to the first sky by force ". The dragon said with seriousness . 
 My eyes widened explicably and I then smiled warily . It seems like the Pagoda have taken in consideration that some inheritors will just develop their forces in the origin world and only ascend when they are strong enough to establish themselves . 
 "So , I am basically forced to establish a base here ". I said calmly . 
 "Yes , that's it ". The dragon grinned . 
 "How will they ascend ?". I asked . 
 "They will sense the existence of this place at the demigod realm , So they will just have to break the void and ascend here ". The dragon answered . 
 "Thank you , guardian ". I bowed with gratitude for all his explanations . 
 The dragon smiled as his head slowly retracted . "Kid , try and last longer . I will be watching the show from the 12th Sky ". The dragon vanished . 
 "Wait ! , how do I descend back ?". I yelled .
 "Pagoda seal ". The dragon answered back . 
 I quickly immersed in my consciousness and triggered the seal . The void opened , forming a blackhole which I quickly jumped in . 
 Oh ! I forgot to ask him about the geography of this place . i sighed with regret .

 The dark lion king have been restless ever since he came back from the eternal dark sect . His nerves were taut and was jumping at any slightest commotion . He tapped gently on his throne as he was lost in thought . 
 The various experts of the Dark lion clan was looking at their king with worried looks . 
 "My king , what troubles you ?". An elderly man with wrinkles on his face stood up and asked with Intense worry . 
 The Dark lion king shook his head and said "It's nothing , Adrinjian ". 
 "But....". The old man wanted to continue to ask . 
 "Enough !!". The Dark lion king said coldly . "There is nothing wrong with me ". 
 The old man sighed and sat down . Boooom!!! the palace doors were smashed apart as a figure slowly walked in . 
 The expression of the Dark lion king turned grim as he slowly muttered . "Dark queen ". 
 "Little cub , how have you been ?". A soft voice sounded as the figure revealed itself to be a very beautiful woman that was covered in dark cloak . 
 The powerhouses of the dark lion clan immediately stood up as if they were facing a terrifying enemy . 
 "Leave !". The Dark lion king ordered them . 
 "But my king ......"
 "I said leave !!". He pressured them with his aura. 
 They gritted their teeth and left the hall reclutantly . 
 "I was expecting you "The Dark lion king said calmly. "I was initially hoping that you will not survive but it seems that all my hopes are futile ". 
 The dark queen chuckled softly and sat down in one of the seats and crossed her legs . "How will I die when you are still alive ". She said with a slight smile on her face . 
 The dark Lion King shivered slightly when he saw how calm she was . Normally , She would have attacked him at first sight without a doubt but she was calmly conversing with him and that made him truly afraid . 
 "Are you wondering why I did not kill you straight off ". The dark queen seemingly guessed his thoughts. "It would have been very boring ". She grinned and leaned back in her seat . 
 "After hunting down all the traitors , I suddenly lost interest to kill further ". She said calmly . "Looking back at the past , I was the one that wronged you so I decided to let you off ". 
 The dark lion king had disbelief written all over his face as he looked at dark queen . 
 "You don't have to be suprised , I only came to visit you . That's all ". She said casually . Although the dark lion king participated in the attack of the eternal dark sect , he did not attack her even though he had the chance to do so by taking her by suprise and with her condition then , She would have died without a doubt . After some thought , she decided not to kill him . 
 "Little cub , have you ever thought of seeking a higher path in cultivation ?". She asked . 
 "Of course !". The dark lion king who have calmed down from the arrival of the dark queen said . "But the imperfect laws are truly hindering our cultivation from progressing further ". A bitter smile appeared on his face . 
 With his talent , he would have long ascended to demigod realm but the imperfect laws prevented him . The lifespan of demonic beasts were longer than humans but having lived for more than hundred thousand years , he was nearing the end of his lifespan . 
 "What if I give you the opportunity to do so ". The dark queen said suddenly . 
 "How is that possible " . He asked with disbelief . 
 A golden token appeared on her hand as she said slowly . "You could remember that terrifying powerhouse that appeared on my sect ?". 
 "Yes ". The dark lion king answered . How could he forget that terrifying being in his life .
 "This token can lead to the world he resides in ". She said . "I am preparing to enter that world and I need a companion , only you is worthy and strong enough to come with me " .
 "I am really tempted by your offer but what will happen to my clan if I leave , you know how brutal the demon region is ". The dark lion king suppressed his excited as he spoke of his concerns . 
 The dark queen smiled and said "If you are strong enough , you can return and take them away . Since they can descend on this world surely there must be a way of you returning ". 
 The expression of the dark lion king became firm as he said "Count me in ".
