CHAPTER FOUR ♡

On the fifth day, Bryce was in country A....
Bryce went to Fiolet's café for breakfast. He saw his beloved girl energetically working. Bryce got out of his car and entered the café.
Bryce ordered coffee and a small cake to satisfy his morning hunger. Fiolet noticed Bryce and approached him.
"Hi, Bryce!" greeted Fiolet.
"Good morning, Fiolet!" replied Bryce.
"Have you already ordered food?" Fiolet asked curiously.
"Yes, I placed my order earlier," Bryce answered with a sweet smile.
"Oh, alright. Please have a seat. I'll bring your order shortly."
After a few minutes of waiting, Fiolet returned with Bryce's food. Bryce smiled happily at seeing Fiolet, imagining this sight every morning if they were married.
"Here's your order, Bryce," said Fiolet.
"Thank you, Fiolet," Bryce replied.
Bryce asked Fiolet to join him for breakfast. After finishing, Bryce planned to ask Fiolet out again that evening. Fiolet happily agreed to spend time with him later.
After leaving Fiolet's café, Bryce bid farewell to go to work at his office. Fiolet continued her unfinished work.
At the office....
Bryce sat in his large chair, waiting for his assistant, Lucas, to arrive. Lucas knocked and entered upon Bryce's call.
"Good morning, sir. Is there something you need my immediate assistance with?" Lucas asked.
"Morning, Luc. Just call me Bryce when we're alone. I called you because I need your ideas on how to propose to Fiolet as my future wife tonight," Bryce said with a smile.
Lucas paused, processing Bryce's request. Both handsome men in the room remained silent for a few minutes, thinking of a plan.
"Luc, I have an idea for tonight's proposal," Bryce said, smirking at his brilliant plan.
Bryce explained his plan to Lucas and asked him to arrange a few things to ensure the proposal went smoothly. Lucas nodded in agreement to help his friend.
At the café....
Vey arrived at the café to pick up her friend for shopping and take Fiolet to a salon.
Now, they were on their way to their destination. Upon arriving at the mall, they entered a shop selling various beautiful outfits at reasonable prices.
"Let, don't you want to buy those shoes on the shelf?" Vey asked Fiolet, tempted by the displayed shoes.
"Oh, I don't want to buy shoes, Vey. Those are too expensive for me," Fiolet replied, glancing at the shoes Vey pointed out.
Vey nodded, knowing Fiolet's wise advice about spending money unnecessarily. After two hours at the mall, they went to a salon for several hours of pampering.
It was already 4 PM when they finished at the salon. Feeling hungry, Fiolet suggested they eat before heading home.
After their meal, Vey dropped Fiolet off at the café where her car was parked. They parted ways to their respective destinations.
Back at Fiolet's home....
Fiolet had just arrived home and was about to get out of her car when she noticed a message from Bryce.
"Hi, beautiful! For our meeting tonight, can you wear the dress I just sent to your address?" Bryce's message read.
"Sure, Bryce. I'll wait for your delivery and wear it tonight for our meeting," Fiolet replied, wondering why Bryce was sending her a dress but assuming it was a generous gesture given their four-day acquaintance.
Four days? Yes, they had only known each other for four days, with just two more before Bryce flew back to Europe. Despite the short acquaintance, they felt deeply connected, as if something missing in their lives had been found.
"Thank you for accepting my offer to wear the dress happily. Get ready and I'll pick you up tonight," Bryce typed.
"You're welcome, Bryce! I'm looking forward to it," Fiolet replied, blushing at the message.
Knock... knock... knock...
The sound of a knock came from Fiolet's bedroom door. Opening it, she found her housekeeper holding a package.
"Miss, there's a package for you from someone named Bryce," the housekeeper said.
"Thank you, Auntie, for delivering it here," Fiolet replied.
Opening the package, Fiolet exclaimed, "Wow, this dress is stunning, probably very expensive. But why should I wear this dress just for dinner? Isn't it too flashy?"
After pondering, Fiolet decided to freshen up with a quick shower. She applied light makeup, enhancing her beauty with pink lipstick. Half of her hair was pinned up with butterfly clips, while the rest flowed freely.
With the dress and hairdo, Fiolet looked even more beautiful and elegant.
In the living room area....
Fiolet's family sat, watching TV, but their attention shifted to the youngest walking toward them with a different appearance.
"Wow, honey, you look so beautiful! Anyone taking you out on a date?" Fiorin teased her daughter.
"Aww..." her siblings and father chimed in, agreeing with their mom.
Blushing, Fiorin explained she was just having dinner with Bryce that night and that the outfit was a gift from him. Her family smiled and nodded, understanding the change in Fiolet's appearance tonight.
Meanwhile, Bryce was teased by his friend Lucas, who gave him positive advice for his proposal.
A few minutes later, Bryce arrived at Fiolet's house. Entering, he saw her family gathered in the living room. However, his focus was solely on Fiolet, who captivated him from the moment he entered.
Seeing Bryce looking handsome that night, Fiolet felt shy under his gaze. The family smiled, knowing their children had deep feelings for each other, although they hadn't been expressed yet.
"Ahem..." Oscar cleared his throat, breaking their intense thoughts.
Startled, they turned awkwardly toward Fiolet's family. Bryce then asked for permission to take Fiolet out again that night. Her family, aware of Bryce's plan to propose, agreed.
After getting permission, they left the house and headed to the location Bryce had prepared.
As Fiolet and Bryce entered the car, they felt awkward from the events at the house, so Bryce initiated a conversation during the ride.
"Um... Fiolet, you look stunning today," Bryce praised Fiolet, who blushed at the compliment.
"Oh, I'm just okay," Fiolet replied, bashful at the compliment.
"Bryce, where are we going? Isn't it far?" Fiolet asked, feeling they had been driving for a while without reaching their destination.
"We're almost there. Just a little longer," Bryce replied honestly.
Their car stopped at a luxurious restaurant normally bustling with patrons, but tonight, it appeared empty except for restaurant staff.
"Are we eating here?" Fiolet asked.
"Yes, let's go in," Bryce replied.
"W-wait!" Fiolet exclaimed, gripping Bryce's strong arm.
"What's wrong, Fiolet? Are you uncomfortable here?" Bryce asked.
"No, I just feel a bit strange and scared because it seems this restaurant might be closed, Bryce. There's no one inside, and it's poorly lit," she explained.
"Perhaps it's just a slow day, Fiolet. Let's go inside together," Bryce suggested, holding Fiolet's small hand tightly.
As they walked toward the restaurant's entrance, Fiolet noticed many candles arranged in a row, guiding her path as if signaling her to follow them. She curiously followed the candlelit path and forgot Bryce trailing behind.
Following the path, Fiolet discovered a note that read, "Continue following these candles until you see a red button."
Deep in the restaurant, Fiolet suddenly remembered she wasn't alone here. Turning back, she saw the path she had walked had turned pitch black, and the guiding candles were no longer visible.
Feeling a bit scared of the darkness and thunder, she found another note on a table and read it.
"Keep walking, honey. I'm waiting for you up ahead," the note read.
Feeling a little braver, Fiolet sped up a bit because she was still afraid of the surrounding situation.
