CHAPTER THREE ♡
Violet's house
Violet was paying attention to her appearance in front of her bedroom mirror. She also wears thin powder on her face and uses lipstick so that her lips are not too pale.
"Hmm..it's just like this...if it's obvious then I'll be the one who's embarrassed for people to look at," he monologued to himself after feeling that the makeup he was wearing was not too thick.
Tring...
The sound of an incoming message to Fiolet's phone number.
He who heard the sound rushed to pick up his phone which was on the bed.
"Fiolet, I'm already in front of your house. Have you finished getting ready?" Fill in the message from Bryce.
"I'm ready Bryce, I'm going down now." Reply Violet.
Violet went downstairs and found both her parents and her brother who were in the living room watching television. Those who noticed that the youngest looked neat asked where the girl was going.
"Where do you want to go, Let?" asked Fiorin to his daughter.
"I want to go out for a while mom, my friend invited me to go to the cinema," Fiolet answered honestly.
"Hrm..hrm..it looks like someone wants to go on a date soon," Violet's brother Yung teased.
All the eyes in the living room were staring with intimidation at the little girl in their family.
"Ish..brother...I'm just going to watch the cinema," replied Fiolet whining a little.
"Already .. don't disturb this beautiful daddy's child .. go Let, but don't limp until 10 o'clock." Oscar said Fiolet's father.
"Daddy is a savior," Fiolet muttered to herself and was not heard by the rest of her family.
After answering questions from his family he said goodbye to his family and walked out to meet Bryce who had been waiting for him earlier.
Fiolet saw Bryce standing and leaning against his car and the sight made Fiolet fall in love with Bryce again.
"Hi, Bryce! I'm sorry I'm a little late coming out because there's a little problem going on inside," Violet said to Bryce, bowing her fist because she felt guilty for letting Bryce wait for her for too long.
"Hey, it's ok Violet, I don't mind waiting for you no matter what, so don't feel guilty ok?" Answered Bryce while holding Violet's chin so that this sweet girl could look into her eyes.
Violet just nodded her head and smiled slightly. After that, he felt his body tense because Bryce said a sentence that made him tremble.
"Violet, can I see your father and mother for a moment before we leave?" Bryce asked Violet.
"Eh..but.." Fiolet's speech was cut off because he heard his brother's voice from the direction of the house bridge.
"Let, why haven't you left yet? Did you leave something behind?" asked Yung to his sister who was still standing in the yard with a handsome man.
"Eh..brother..this.." Fiolet's speech was cut off for the second time because Bryce spoke.
"Hi, I'm Bryce, Violet's friend and future boyfriend, your sister," said Bryce with a confident tone.
Fiolet and her brother Yung who heard that suddenly looked at each other. Those who knew the meaning of the words of the man in front of him answered
"Hahaha...I like your confidence young man...but you have to face our parents first if you want to date my sister" he said with a small chuckle because this is the only time a man has the courage to be honest about his feelings for his sister this.
"Can I go into your house to ask for permission to take your sister out for a while?" asked Bryce again.
"Sure, come in. My parents are inside." Reply Yung.
Yung also brought his younger brother and the man named Bryce to enter their house.
"Oh, Let, you didn't go out with your friend?" asked Oscar to his daughter.
"Hello uncle and aunt, introduce my name Brice. I would like to ask permission to take your daughter out for a while. Is that possible?" Bryce asked hopefully.
"Oh, Mr. Bryce? Is there someone who wants to take my daughter out?" asked Oscar to make sure.
"Yes Mr. Oscar. So do you allow me to take my child out for a while?" asked Bryce again.
"Of course! I already gave permission to Fiolet if she wants to go out but don't be late to send my son back home sir." replied Oscar.
"Alright, I'll return it on time. And one more thing, Mr. Oscar don't call me sir because this isn't work time." Bryce replied.
Oscar just nodded his head with a smile as a sign that he understood what the man in front of him was saying.
In contrast to the two people who were busy talking, the other three family members could only listen to what they were talking about. But one thing they caught was that their father knew Bryce very well.
After saying goodbye to Violet's family, Bryce took the beautiful girl to rush to the cinema because the story they will watch will be played in 30 minutes.
You owe us both an explanation, father," said Fiorin to her husband, Yung who heard that nodded his head as if he agreed with what his mother said.
"Alright, dad will explain to both of you about what happened earlier. Let's go inside first." said Oscar.
Inside the car....
"Bryce, do you know my dad?" Fiolet asked Bryce, still curious about the relationship between this man and her father.
"Yes. Your dad is my business partner, so I've known him long before ACE Company grew to its current size," Bryce explained to the girl sitting beside him.
"Ohh... no wonder Dad recognized you immediately, turns out you're business partners," Fiolet remarked, feeling satisfied now that her curiosity was answered.
Upon arriving at their destination, they exited the car together, and suddenly Fiolet was surprised to feel a large hand holding hers.
Fiolet glanced up and looked at Bryce questioningly. Bryce, understanding her look, whispered, "Let it be this way, your hands are very cold so I'll hold them to keep them warm," he said softly.
Fiolet heard this and simply smiled faintly, nodding to indicate she understood what Bryce meant.
Before entering the cinema, Bryce and Fiolet bought some snacks and drinks to enjoy while watching the movie.
After their purchase, they entered the cinema. Some people had already entered before them. Bryce guided them to the seats they had chosen earlier and they settled in to watch the upcoming movie.
The film began. They had chosen a horror genre, as Fiolet suggested despite being easily scared; she loved horror stories.
Throughout the movie, Bryce only occasionally glanced at the screen because he found the girl beside him more captivating than the action playing out.
Two hours passed....
Now, Bryce and Fiolet exited the cinema hall. It was 9 PM and they still had an hour before Bryce would drop Fiolet off at her house.
On the way to the car, Bryce suggested they eat at a famous restaurant nearby, but Fiolet declined, preferring somewhere else.
Inside the car, Bryce asked where Fiolet wanted to go, and she mentioned wanting to visit a night market close to her house. Bryce agreed, wanting to spend more time with his first love.
Arriving at the night market, Bryce searched for nearby parking to spare Fiolet from walking far in the crowded area. Seeing no close spots, Bryce sighed in frustration.
"It's okay, Bryce, we can park there. It's not too far from the night market," Fiolet said gently, trying to calm Bryce's irritation.
"Hmm... alright... sorry, I'm a bit annoyed because there's no empty spot here," Bryce replied, now calmer.
"It's okay," Fiolet reassured him.
After successfully parking where Fiolet indicated, they both got out of the car simultaneously.
Bryce's hand tightly held Fiolet's small hand, as if afraid someone would take her away, seeing many envious eyes on his perfect possession.
Fiolet saw Bryce's reaction and pretended to be unfazed, though secretly she wanted to scream with joy because her secretly beloved man cared about her.
"Let's go there, Bryce, I want to buy that," Fiolet said, pointing to the food she wanted.
"Sure , baby girl!" Bryce replied, smiling broadly.
They tried various snacks available at the market, with Bryce footing the bill. They finished all the food purchased earlier, with Bryce being the one to carry the leftovers since Fiolet disliked wasting food. Bryce would do anything for Fiolet.
It was now 9:40 PM, and they were on their way back to Fiolet's house. Upon arrival, they both got out of Bryce's car.
"It seems they're already in their rooms," Fiolet whispered softly as the living room lights were off. Bryce heard and said,
"Come in, Fiolet, freshen up and get enough rest. Thank you for today and for keeping me company," Bryce said sincerely.
"I'm also thankful for your treat today. Sorry if I spent a lot," Fiolet said, looking down.
Bryce gently held Fiolet's cheeks, encouraging her to look into his eyes.
"Hey! I don't mind how much money I spent today. Besides, the amount spent was small. Come in, Fiolet, I'll leave once you're inside," Bryce said.
"Thank you, Bryce," Fiolet said with a sweet smile before running into her house. Bryce found Fiolet's antics amusing.
After ensuring Fiolet had safely entered her house, Bryce drove off to his own accommodation.Download Novelah App
