At Let's Cafe....
"Hey! How's my beautiful friend doing?" Vey greeted as she arrived at her friend's cafe.
"Ehh... have you returned from Paris, Vey? I'm doing fine, in fact, I have a story that will surely surprise you," Fiolet replied to her friend.
"Oh yes, Vey and her family went to Paris a few days ago because Vey's grandmother needed treatment there. So, Fiolet's recent events were completely unknown to Vey because Fiolet assumed Vey would be busy with her family there, and indeed, even replying to Fiolet's messages Vey rarely responded promptly.
"Never mind if you are fine. I'm curious about what you want to tell me. By the way, have you added more new workers?" Vey asked curiously.
"Yes, Vey, I've added two new workers because the number of customers has been increasing day by day, making it a bit difficult for us to serve them all. Come with me to my room; we can spend some time together today since my workload has decreased," Fiolet replied.
They both entered Fiolet's private room on the upper floor of the cafe to share stories about what had happened in the past few days.
"Hurry up, Let, I'm really curious to hear your story," Vey called out to Fiolet.
"Alright, I'll tell you what happened. Make sure you don't get shocked by the news," Fiolet said with a gentle smile.
Unable to wait, Vey simply nodded her head.
Fiolet then told her about her relationship with Bryce, which was now moving towards something serious. She also described how Bryce had planned the event meticulously. Vey was shocked but also congratulated her friend, feeling happy that Fiolet had found her soulmate.
Several hours passed, and now it was midday. Vey had already gone home.
Fiolet received a video call from Bryce.
"Hi baby!" Bryce greeted, sitting in his large chair with a gentle smile.
"Hi honeyy! Have you eaten?" Fiolet replied, smiling softly.
"Hmm... oh no, I forgot it's lunchtime!" Bryce exclaimed, glancing at the clock on the wall.
"Honey ! ... don't skip your lunch, honey, or you'll get sick from forgetting your meal times," Fiolet scolded with concern.
Bryce smiled widely upon hearing this, touched by how much Fiolet cared about him.
"Yes, baby. I'll order my lunch now." Bryce said, holding his company phone to call Lucas to get him some food.
"I've already asked Lucas to buy me lunch. He'll deliver it here. Have you eaten, baby?" Bryce asked Fiolet.
"I just finished eating before you called," Fiolet replied with a gentle smile.
"Baby, can I eat with you over a video call?" Bryce asked.
"But I still have work at the cafe, dear," Fiolet replied.
"Just accompany me during lunch via video call, baby, please don't hang up, okay?" Bryce pleaded with a hopeful look.
"Yes, dear. I'll keep you company during lunch," Fiolet replied with a sweet smile.
They heard a knock on Bryce's door from outside. Bryce asked the person to come in. Lucas entered with a lunch box and a glass of water in his hand. He handed it to Bryce for his lunch.
"Thanks, Luc!" Bryce said.
"You're welcome, Bryce," Lucas replied, then left the room.
"Eat now, dear!" Fiolet said, and Bryce started eating his meal. Meanwhile, Fiolet continued with her work, occasionally glancing at her future husband while he ate.
After Bryce finished his lunch, he ended the video call because Lucas had called him for a meeting today.
At 2:55 pm....
Bryce arrived at Let Cafe to pick up his future wife. He entered the cafe and asked the staff about Fiolet's whereabouts. They informed him that Fiolet was in her room. Bryce immediately walked briskly and quickly climbed the stairs to reach his beloved's room. He couldn't wait to meet his girlfriend, even though they had only been apart for a few hours, Bryce missed the beautiful girl.
Knock.. knock.. knock..
"Come in," Fiolet said from inside, thinking it was her employees knocking on her door.
"Good evening, baby..." Bryce said with a gentle tone.
Seeing who had come, Fiolet immediately stood up from her chair and looked at Bryce with a sweet smile, revealing her dimples clearly.
"Good evening, honey..." Fiolet replied.
Upon seeing his sweetheart's sweet smile, Bryce closed the door tightly. Then Bryce opened both hands wide, signaling Fiolet to hug him.
Understanding this, Fiolet immediately ran towards Bryce and entered her man's embrace. Bryce also responded to his girlfriend's hug tightly, while kissing Fiolet's forehead several times.
"Are you still working, baby?" Bryce asked while still hugging Fiolet.
"No, I just checked my work earlier. It's already 3 o'clock now, so I can go home now," Fiolet replied softly.
"Alright, let's go now, baby!" Bryce replied.
"Before they left the room, Bryce gently held Fiolet's hand. Fiolet looked up and saw Bryce pouting, silently asking for a kiss. She chuckled at Bryce's cute expression and playfully teased him.
Fiolet placed her hands on Bryce's cheeks and tiptoed slightly to reach his lips. She gave him a quick kiss, intending to pull away, but Bryce scooped her up in a koala-like embrace and deepened the kiss.
"Mmm..." Fiolet made a surprised sound as Bryce unexpectedly lifted her and continued the kiss more passionately.
After feeling taps on his chest, Bryce finally released the kiss.
"Huff...huff...honey , you nearly took my breath away," Fiolet gasped, her lips forming a cute pout.
"Sorry, baby! Your lips are irresistible," Bryce replied and leaned in to kiss Fiolet's pouted lips again.
"Eww...enough, honey. Put me down, let's go now," Fiolet said, urging Bryce to release her from his embrace.
"Okay, baby, let's go now," he replied, holding Fiolet's hand tightly.
In the car....
Bryce received a call from Lucas, informing him that he needed to return to the office to sign some documents before their trip to London tomorrow night.
"Baby, would you mind accompanying me to the office now? There are some tasks I need to finish before heading back to London tomorrow night," Bryce asked.
Fiolet smiled softly at Bryce upon hearing this.
"No, honey, I don't mind accompanying you to the office at all," she replied, gently stroking Bryce's hand that held hers.
But after saying that, Fiolet became quieter, thinking about her fiancé returning to London tomorrow. She felt unwilling to let go of her lover to return to his home country.
Seeing Fiolet looking a bit down, Bryce gently stroked her hair from the side.
"If you're tired, I'll drop you home first, baby. After I finish my work, I'll come to your place again," Bryce said, sensing that his girlfriend was exhausted after a long day.
"I'm okay, honey. I want to be with you today," Fiolet replied, trying to smile to hide her inner turmoil.
Bryce nodded understandingly and continued driving towards the company.
At the Office....
A few minutes later, they arrived at the ACE Company's branch. Bryce opened the door for Fiolet and held her hand. The employees, seeing their boss bringing in a stunning woman, were surprised.
They both received stares from everyone in the office. Feeling a bit uncomfortable with the attention, Fiolet squeezed her fiancé's hand slightly to alleviate her awkwardness. Bryce understood and gently held Fiolet's hand tighter, addressing the office with a firm tone.
"Get back to your work, everyone. Don't stare at my future wife, or you'll be fired," he said loudly and firmly.
The employees, hearing this, were shocked by Bryce's announcement that the beautiful woman next to him was his fiancée. But none dared to linger longer, afraid of being fired.
Bryce escorted Fiolet to his private office.
Upon entering, Fiolet could see numerous files scattered around her future husband's office.
"Baby, wait for me on that sofa, okay? I'll finish my work quickly. You can also have some snacks there," Bryce said, stroking Fiolet's hair.
Fiolet nodded and walked towards the sofa indicated by Bryce.
Bryce smiled and sat in his large chair to tackle his considerable workload.
A few minutes later....
Sitting on the sofa, Fiolet watched her fiancé from a distance with a gentle gaze, remembering that he would soon return to his homeland. Her eyes welled up with tears as she thought about tomorrow. Fiolet didn't want to sit idly while waiting for Bryce to finish his work, so she wanted to make the most of her time by staying close to him.
Fiolet walked over to Bryce's desk and asked if she could help with anything.
"Honey , is there anything I can assist with?" Fiolet asked, her voice slightly hoarse from holding back tears.
Hearing his fiancée's hoarse voice, Bryce immediately turned his head towards Fiolet and looked into her teary eyes.
Bryce turned his chair and pulled his girlfriend into his lap.
"What's wrong, baby? Is something bothering you? Did I do something wrong?" Bryce asked in succession, gently stroking Fiolet's long hair.
Fiolet, receiving such concern and attention, couldn't hold back her tears any longer and hugged Bryce tightly.
Hiks...hiks...hiks...honeyyy..." Fiolet cried in Bryce's arms.
Seeing Fiolet cry, Bryce became even more anxious and worried. He hugged his girlfriend back tightly to calm her down.
"Babe...why are you crying, hmm...? Tell me, baby, who upset you, hmm?" Bryce asked, continuing to stroke Fiolet's hair and kissing her forehead several times.
"Hiks...hiks...honey, don't leave me..." Fiolet whispered softly between sobs, still holding Bryce tightly.
"Cup..cup..cup..I won't leave you, baby. Don't cry anymore, okay? I'm here with you now," Bryce replied, trying to comfort the girl in his arms.
"You'll be leaving for London tomorrow night. I'll be here alone again, and I'll surely miss you...hiks," Fiolet said, her crying subsiding but still sniffling.
"Hey, baby, I'll come back to London and pick you up after our wedding preparations are done, hmm...don't be sad anymore, okay? You can also come to London to meet me," Bryce said, holding Fiolet's face so she would look into his eyes.
