Speaking to Jasmine, Jabal felt a lot better. Also knowing that others were not taken, put his mind at rest. He wasn't worried about his face being covered neither did he attempt to use his power. Jasmine also, on the other hand, kept staring aside the window. After a while, the car came to a halt and one of the men seated at the front came down.
"Bring her out, Rowland," he said and the man seated beside her answered.
"She will be out soon". He took the cloth he had taken away from her face. "I might have to cover your face, once more"
She shrugged. Not like she had a choice. Her face was covered and was brought out of the car. She couldn't say how long they walked or where they were headed to.
"Sit" she had a voice. It was different from the voices she had heard in the car. She wondered how he wants her to sit. When she can't see.
"I can't see," she said.
"Jasmine?" she heard Jabal's voice.
"J-Jabal? Are you the one? Are you ok?" she asked.
"I am fine. You don't have to worry about me"
"Enough of that!" someone yelled. This time, it was a woman. "Now sit before I do something nasty"
Jasmine scoffed. "As if I care" she muttered. She felt more relaxed hearing her voice and she has a feeling that she knows who is talking. "But don't you think it is a bit childish to blindfold us and expect us to sit?"
"Don't you have powers?" the woman asked.
"Is that the reason we got kidnapped?" Jasmine asked and the woman scoffed.
"You are just like I predicted. Open their faces" she ordered.
After the cloth was taken away from their faces, Jasmine stared straight at the woman's face. The voice isn't the only thing she might be familiar with, her face too.
"Tie them up and make sure they don't escape," a man said.
"What about their powers?" the woman whispered.
"This place has a spell that prevents other powers from working"
"Are you sure? I heard they..."
"Bella, that's enough. You should trust me"
"Judge, don't..." she sighed when he stared at her. "I believe you"

When Anderson showed up, he spoke privately to Emerald, while the rest waited outside. Alora was the one who brought the news of the twins' kidnapped and right before he came to the earth witches coven, he had sent out some people to find the twins. He had also thought about those who could know about the twins' existence and those who could hurt them. He has tried as much as he can to stay strong, believing that they will return soon. Now, sitting in front of the twins' mother and seeing how worried she looks, he couldn't help but worry too.
"Tell me" Emerald began. "Tell me it is not my late husband's brother that took the twins"
Anderson sighed. He doesn't want to believe that. He doesn't want to believe that the Alpha of Starlight took the twins. Why will he want to take them, after all these years? After all these years of not caring or looking for them.
He shook his head in disapproval. "He won't do that. He can't do it. I mean he has no reason to take the twins when there is no pack to fight for. I heard he now owns a pack, the Starlight. And he is doing pretty great"
"Then who could be responsible for this? It has to be someone who knows them. Or maybe someone who knows me or their late father" Emerald said.
"What if it doesn't have anything to do with you or Salvador?" he asked.
He was certain the twins' disappearance has nothing to do with Emerald or his late friend. Emerald nodded slightly. Maybe Anderson is right. Maybe their kidnap really has nothing to do with her or her late husband.
"Then who do you think will have done this?"
"What have they been working on lately? I mean all of them. After the fight with Rose, I have not really, heard from them on their next task"
"The disappearance of the vampire Queen"
"Maybe it has something to do with their new task or maybe it doesn't. We might need to find out. But I know they will take care of themselves". Emerald sighed. Though she knew that, she still could not help but worry. He sighed. "But I must speak to the rest of them, first to know what next to do"
Emerald nodded. "They are waiting outside"
They joined the rest outside and Anderson spoke to Ariana, Jamal, Ryan, and Kelvin.
"What did you find in the vampire realm," he asked.
"We met with the vampire King and Prince and spoke with them for a while," Ariana said.
"We were able to find out that the vampire King's brothers are responsible for the kidnap," Jamal said.
"Her maids were the ones who helped them out" Ryan added and Anderson sighed.
"Do you think they might be responsible for the twins' kidnap too?" he asked. "Or is there anyone you suspect?"
"Not anyone we can think of" Ariana answered and they nodded.
They have spoken to themselves while Emerald and Anderson were busy talking, to know if there could be anyone they know who is involved in their disappearance.
"Is there a way of finding out where they could be?"
Ariana nodded. "Yes. Emerald and my mother will be doing that" she answered.

It's been over an hour since they had been brought here. The woman and the man that had spoken earlier had left an hour ago, leaving a man they weren't familiar with, with them.
"How long are we going to stay here?" Jasmine whispered.
"Until we find out where the vampire Queen is kept" Jabal answered in a whisper.
"Do you think we will find out?" she whispered again. Just before the man and the woman left, they had spoken about the vampire Queen but had to stop when they saw Jasmine and Jabal staring.
"I think we will. We just have to wait for a while"
Jasmine groaned. "You know the rest will be looking for us, right?"
Jabal nodded. "Of course. I know they will be worried but we need to find out where she is hidden"
Jasmine sighed. She hated the fact that she is being tied up in a dark room when she can set herself free. She rested herself on the wall and sighed. Her stomach grumbled and she groaned slightly.
"Seems someone is hungry" Jabal teased.
"This is not the time to tease me, ok. Right now, all I wish is to get something to eat" she said.
"What are you two talking about?" the man watching asked. "You don't plan to run away. Do you?"
Jasmine frowned. Why do they all keep telling them not to plan to run away when they can without any stress?
"You..."
"Don't say a word" Jabal whispered to her and she scoffed." My sister is hungry. Can she get something to eat?" Jabal spoke up. The man stared at them. "We don't have plans to run," Jabal said and he sighed.
"I will get something for you both. But if you dare to run away, it won't be funny for you" the man threatened before leaving.
"Did he just threaten us?" Jasmine asked and Jabal nodded.
"I guess he did" he answered and Jasmine sighed.
There was silence until the man returned with a few doughnuts and two bottles of water.
"You can eat that," he said.
"He doesn't expect us to use our mouth, right?" Jasmine whispered to Jabal with a scornful face.
"I don't think so" he whispered back.
"You are whispering again," the man said.
"That is because our hands are tied,"
He stared at them before moving closer. "I am losing just the rope on your hands. Don't you dare..."
"Don't you dare run away" Jasmine said and he stared at her. "You don't have to worry. We have no reason to run yet"
He ignored her because he could hardly understand what she meant by her words. He loosen the ropes and returned to his seat. Jasmine picked one of the doughnuts up and mulched on it quickly. Jabal laughed.
"You should calm down sis, the food is not running away" Jabal teased.
"You should stop teasing me, ok? It doesn't make any sense" Jasmine said with a mouth full.
"You both should stop talking," the man said.
They kept quiet mulching on their food. After a while, Jasmine sighed. She had eaten enough and now she feels satisfied.
"How long do you think we are going to be here?" she asked Jabal. She yawned. "I feel like sleeping right now"
"You should get some rest," Jabal said and she nodded.
"Yes, I should"

Emerald and Ella had been busy trying to find the location of the twins but it seems those that had taken them had hidden the location.
"Do you think they will find them?" Kelvin asked looking worried.
"You have to trust them. They will find their location soon" Ariana said and he sighed.
He had tried on his part to find Jasmine through her scent but he couldn't and that was one of the reasons why he is worried. He could also see the worries on the faces of others, though they tried to hide it. Emerald walked out with a smile on her face and they rushed to her.
"Any news?" Ariana asked and Emerald nodded.
"We found them," she said.
"You did?" Ariana asked almost in disbelief and they jumped up and happily. "This is good news" she cooed.
"Can we go and find them now?" Kelvin asked.
"No, we can't," Ella said walking out.
"W-why?" he asked.
"Because they have some work to do," Ella said and Kelvin sighed.
"How long will that take?"
"I don't know. We will have to wait until evening before going to look for her"
They sighed. It's a good thing to know that their location has been found.
"What are we supposed to be doing before evening time?" Jamal asked.
"How about we take a stroll?" Ariana suggested.
She is not happy with the gloominess that had taken over their faces. She also doesn't like how the atmosphere is.
"We can't leave the earth witches coven," Ryan said.
"We don't have to," Ariana said with a smile. "We can visit the garden over there. It had a nice view". They agreed to what Ariana said. "How about we get some baskets? We can pick up some fruits" she suggested and they nodded.
Right now, they need something that will take their minds off the disappearance of the twins. They also needed something to while away time with. Ariana and Jamal went into the kitchen to get two baskets before joining the rest. They headed to the garden and picked up some fruits.
"We should sit over there," Kelvin said.
They walked over to the bench and sat down.
"What do you think the twins are doing? That we can't save them now?" Kelvin asked.
"I think it's something important," Jamal said.
"Something that has to do with the vampire Queen" Ryan said and they stared at him.
"The vampire Queen?" Kelvin furrowed his brows.
Ryan nodded. "Yes. I think those responsible for the kidnap might be the King's brother"
"Why do you think that?" Ariana asked.
"Think about it. They are the only ones who don't know about the twins' power. If they do, they wouldn't have sent kidnaps. What do you think?". They nodded in agreement. "Or are there any enemies they had so far?"
Ryan is right, they thought. But why will they carry the twins instead of any one of them?
"If the King's brothers are the ones responsible, why did they take the twins instead?" Jamal asked.
"wait," Ariana said, her eyes brightening up.
"Is there something you remembered?" Kelvin asked and Ariana nodded.
"I don't think they took the twins because they know them"
"What do you mean?" Jamal asked.
"Can you remember how we were before the cars separated us?" she asked.
"I can't remember much," he said.
"I think I do," Ryan said. "I and Jamal were at the front. Jabal and Jasmine were close to each other and they were behind us. Ariana was walking behind them because she said she was tired of running"
Jamal gasped. "Since the cars came in between Jasmine and Jabal, the men must have taken them because they were closer"
"But why will they take some of us?" Ryan asked.
"I guess to threaten us," Ariana said.
"Why did we not think about this," Kelvin asked.
"I guess we were too worried to think about it," Ariana said.
"I feel better now that I know that no one is after the twin's life"
They nodded in agreement. They feel better too.

Jasmine had thought they won't be getting any information and was already dozing off.
Jabal tapped her. "What?" she muttered, yawning.
"I think I can hear footsteps" Jabal whispered to her and her eyes opened up quickly.
"Who do you think is coming?"
"They seem to be more than one"
"How about we pretend to be asleep?"
"Asleep?"
Jasmine nodded. "I don't think they will say anything if they meet us awake"
Jabal thought about what Jasmine had said. "I think you are right," he said.
Since the man on guard was already asleep, Jabal knew they won't have a problem pretending to be asleep.
They quickly lie down and closed their eyes. Soon, they began to hear voices. They listened carefully. They heard a thudding sound and were almost tempted to open their eyes.
"Are you supposed to be sleeping?" they heard a female voice. It was the same woman who was here a few hours ago.
"I am so sorry boss," the man on guard said and she scoffed.
"You are lucky the kids are still here, I will have fed your head to the dogs" she threatened. "Now, get out of my sight before I change my mind"
They heard footsteps and wondered if the man on guard had left.
"How long are we going to keep the kids here?" she asked.
"Until we get what we want," a man said.
The voice was not a familiar one.
"But keeping them here will not stop the rest from finding the Queen. Will it?"
"Of course, it will. They are just kids. You don't have to worry"
She sighed. "When are we visiting your sister-in-law?"
"We go there after we leave this place"
They talked about a few other things and everywhere became silent. Jasmine opened her eyes slowly. She noticed they were still standing and whispering among themselves. After a while, they left. Jasmine cast a spell on them. It was to make them find their way to the vampire Queen. She tapped Jabal and he opened his eyes.
"Did you hear what they say?" she asked.
"Yes, I did" he replied.
"What are we going to do now? I already cast a spell on them"
"Then we can wait until when we have the chance to leave this place"
"How about we leave now? We should follow them"
"That will be too risky. They might become suspicious"
Jasmine groaned. "Are you saying we will be staying here for long?"
Jabal smiled. "Just for an hour"
Jasmine was very impatient and kept turning around. She wanted to leave the place as soon as possible. And when Jabal finally told her it was time. She shrieked happily.
"What are we going to do about him?" she asked.
"You are not using a spell on him," Jabal said and she scoffed.
"I never said I was. What do you plan to do?"
"He is sleeping again. We will get the rope off our hands and run away"
Jasmine frowned. "Is that what you expect us to do?"
He nodded. "Yes. That way no one would know about our powers"
Jasmine scoffed. "Whatever you say. But can we go now?"
They loosen the rope and walked slowly to the door but unfortunately, the man woke up and saw them. He ran towards them and they groaned. They ran outside but he ran after them.
"Let's hide here," Jabal said.
They hid behind a tree and waited until the man was gone before dashing into the woods.

They were deep into the woods and night was setting in already. They knew the rest would be searching for them already and might be calling their names but they wanted to find out where the vampire Queen could be. They had told their mother and Ella that they will be back before evening but now that they are not back, they were sure the rest will be in the woods looking for them. They stood I'm front of the cave where Jasmine's spell had brought them but no one was in it.
"Do you think we have been tricked?" Jasmine asked.
"I think we have," Jabal said.
"Then we can't stay here. We need to return home," Jasmine said. It was getting cold and she might catch a cold.
Jabal pulled off his coat and handed it over to her. "You can stay here for a while. I will go behind that tree over there to find any clue," he said.
Jasmine sighed. "I will just go with you". She handed back the coat. "And you don't have to give me your coat"
"But you will catch a cold," he said, looking worried.
"You can catch a cold too. And by the way, I have a coat on. It might not be as thick as yours, or as long as yours. It can keep me warm for a while"
Jabal sighed. He knows Jasmine is as stubborn as he is and there is nothing he could do about it.
