Chapter 10

I quietly followed Travis and Kia after Arki and I talked. I know I'm at fault, he just want to help me. I feel sorry about it.
Maybe I'm just too traumatized about my past and sometimes, I feel sorry for the people around me who just want to help. Actually, Arki isn't the only who tried to help me.
A lot... Kia is the only one I can trust with this.
"Hey, what's that emote? Why are you and Arki apart? Did you two fight again? You are not even in a relationship, but you already have LQ. Fix that right away so that your relationship lasts," Kia told me seriously. I don't know if it's serious or she's just kidding.
The two are in front and walking. They were there at the very end of the church.
"Why did you tell him that I was looking for my dad?" I asked.
I know that Arki really knows that because he listened to me at sea then. It's just that ... it's my personal problem. I don't want anyone to meddle it.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say. He asked me because. I don't know but I feel like he already knew about it?" Kia replied.
I stand. "Let's go," I said.
Kia also stood up, panicking. "Huh? Why? We haven't enjoyed it yet," she sadly told me.
I look at her with my tired eyes. "I can just go alone, Kia. I... I just want to rest?" I promised her.
She smiled at me and nodded. "Okay. Let's go," she said and pulled my hand out of the church.
"Kia, you can just go there. I don't want to bother you, please. Maybe I've been too busy again," I said.
I had a mild depressive disorder way back. Sometimes, I feel like my mind is too occupied and I can't think clearly. I can't sleep, I'll just cry for no reason. Something like that. I feel like sometimes I'm a burden to Kia.
"Hey!" Travis calls. They are getting closer to us.
"Where are you going? We're not done here yet," Travis said.
Kia would have answered when I was ahead of her. "Okay. Let's picture?" I vigorously promise.
Kia's face is sad. I feel like she wants to enjoy her day-off. Who am I to stop that? I walked to the end and just ignored the presence of anyone.
I took a picture of the view. The beauty here. Can I get married here?
"Can I get married in this church?" I asked as I turned my back on them.
"Why? Are you planning to marry Arki? I'm the bestman!" Travis shouted.
It's really another Travis, whatever comes out of the mouth.
After an hour we decided to leave. In that one hour, Arki didn't talk especially when I'm infront of him. But I catch him once looking at me.
"Did you have a fight?" Travis asked as we walked. Maybe he already noticed.
"No," I replied shortly.
"You're cute, you answered." He chuckled.
I didn’t answer him because it was annoying!
"You know what, it's hard to coax my friend. It's up to you, you too," he whispered with a laugh.
"You know what, why are you talking to me? You're right there with Kia!" annoyed I promised him.
He just laughed at me. The man actually followed me. He stepped aside from Kia as he walked and even put his arm around her. Kia, on the other hand, seems to be satisfied!
I looked at Arki who's walking behind us. I slowed down walking. On the other hand, I was really very conscientious. When he was honest with me I went with him. He never look at me.
"Hey," I calmly call to him.
"Hmmm?" he answered.
I haven't even looked at it yet. Is he like this when he's angry? Is what Travis said true?
"Are you mad?" I bite my lips.
Shit! I never did this in entire life! Dude! Help me here!
"Nope," was his short reply.
I rolled my eyes. I sighed before answering. I'm a little disgusted. "Fine. I'm sorry for what I said to you earlier. It's just that ... I feel like I don't need anyone to help me when it comes to finding my dad. I can't trust anyone when it comes to this, "I promised weakly.
He stopped walking so I stopped too. We face each other.
"I'm sorry too. I won't do that again," he said.
I nodded and smiled. "Thank you for respecting me. To be frank on you, I still don't trust you. It's only a matter of time before we meet. I hope you understand it," I said.
He smiled at me too. "I know. But the time will come when you will trust me too," he replied.
"I'll wait for that time," I told him with a smile.
"Hey lovers! Let's watch the sunset!" Kia shouted from afar. They turned out to be far away from us.
"We're good now?" he asked softly.
I bite my lips. That voice is kinda ...
Nevermind.
“It’s nice to watch the sunset on the rooftop of Santa Maria Del Mar,” I told them.
"How did you know?" Kia asked.
I shrugged. "You know I love sunset. I know where it's nice to watch it," I replied.
"You love sunset?" Arki asked softly.
I bite my lips before I nod. "Yup. I think it's obvious on my name? My nickname?" I laughed in response.
We went to the rooftop.
"Take care," Arki said weakly as he helped me up the stairs.
"Take care," Kia artfully promised. She imitates Arki.
"Travis, don't you have to take care of me too? I'm having a hard time too, oh!" Kia's artistic promise. Nothing really beats Kia.
I was amazed when we got to the top because of the beautiful view.
"Wow ..." I uttered. I'm speechless...
The sun is going down.
"You love it?" Arki asked who was next to me.
I smiled and nodded. "Yes. I love it ..." I almost whispered in response.
Kia and Travis are on the other end. They were taking picture there. There are only four of us here.
"You know, my name means evening sunset. As in the sun is really going down," I said.
"Really? My name means sun," he replied. I turned to him.
My two eyebrows went up. "Really? Wow! We're good!" glad I promise.
When I realized what I said I panicked. "Ah I mean, does our name matter? Ah no! Nothing! Forget what I said!" I panicked promise him.
I heard him chuckled. What did you say, Alba!
"You want me to take a picture of you?" he asked softly.
I haven’t even recovered yet!
I nodded. "Let's take a picture," I promised with a smile.
He seemed surprised at what I said.
He was still paralyzed by panic.
"Hey," I called to him.
He grinned and shook his head. "God, I didn't expect that," he smiled to himself.
I smiled slyly.
He pulled his phone out of his pocket. "Okay, let me handle the phone," I said.
He gave it to me. He leaned over me so we could fit.
"Smile," I promised.
We turned our backs on the sunset. I click the camera again.
I don’t know how many that are, just the amount of pictures we have. I handled his phone on him after that. He looked at our picture.
While he's swiping every picture, I look at his face and he's smiling like an idiot.
"Can I see?" I asked him.
He smiled at me and give his phone to me. The first picture was we're smiling. The second one was the same. I stopped in the third picture because he was looking at me while he's smiling. I don't know if he meant it or just by chance.
I sneezed and handed him his phone again.
"Nice!" I awkwardly said.
"Can I post our picture?" he asked weakly.
I stopped and turned suddenly to him in shock.
"H-huh?" I am ashamed to promise.
He scratch his head. "I just want to post it. Can I?" he asked shyly.
I was thinking. Maybe there's nothing wrong with that?
"Are you like this when you meet a woman? You post immediately on social media?" I asked maliciously.
He frowned and shook his head. "No. I never post a picture with any girl in my social media. Look at my instagram." He handed me his phone to show it but I refuse.
"It's up to you," I said and turned back to the sunset. It’s going to sink in that he really is. There is tomorrow again.
"I posted it already," he said again.
I turned to him and he showed it.
I look at the caption and it melts my heart.
She's the sunset that is worth to wait.
