The silence between us was so awkward to the point that I can hear the birds chirping.
I swallowed and averted my eyes. "W-what are you doing here?" I stammered a question to him.
He shyly scratch his head. "I'm sorry," he answered softly.
I smiled when he suddenly look at me. "Thank you," I uttered.
He smiled at me. Then he tap my head. "I'm sorry because I heard you. I just wanted to check on you hopefully but I heard it," he shyly told me.
I smiled at him and shook my head. "It's okay. My life is chaotic so if you're trying to enter in my life ... please don't. My family is chaotic and my life is chaotic. Any man, can't last the life I have," I seriously promise while looking straight into his eyes.
I know he's trying to enter in my life. He's trying to pursue me I'm not assuming but I know that he likes me the way he act and the way he talk to me. It's different.
He smiled at me. "When you love someone, you don't care about the chaos that they will face. Loving a person means loving their flaws and imperfection. Weeks has passed and knowing you day by day makes me fall in love with you, Sol ..." he almost whispered his promise to me.
I shook. "No, you don't. It's only a matter of time before we meet. Don't use that word to me. It takes time to fall in love in a person," I replied.
He also shook his head. "It takes time, yes. But you don't know how long or how short it is. I like you and I know it." I looked away and saw the sunset. He confessed on me infront of the sunset.
I think I avoided him for a week after we talked about that. I do not know why. It's just that when someone really likes me or when someone confesses to me, I don't know what to say. I just avoid it. Even so, he keeps on texting me. In the past few weeks I have been so busy and I forget to eat sometimes. I'm used to it. Even with food I forget. But Arki keeps on reminding and sending me foods on time. He never forgets. He always tells me to forget everything as long as I don't eat at the right time.
"Eat that," he seriously promised me.
But because I didn't pay attention to him, I didn't touch it and it turned out that I was typing a lot on my laptop. It's also true. I had to pass this on time.

"Kia, hide me," I whispered to Kia.
It's night and there are a lot of people. Kia and I will be hosting tonight because I am the one who planned this event. The staff are busy. I could clearly see Arki with Travis approaching us.
I was disgusted with myself because he was handsome in what he was wearing. He's wearing a polo shirt and a pair of shorts. That's all! But why is that, he's handsome there.
"Shit! They're both handsome!" Kia said in exaggerated way.
What else can I expect from this woman. Instead of hiding me, she showed me more to Arki. I look like a fool like a dog trying to hide from its master.
When they got close to us I turned around and talked to a staff. I couldn’t even hear myself anymore because I didn’t know what I was saying there. I don’t care what he thinks of me anymore.
"You two are handsome, sir," I heard Kia say even though the music was too loud. The volume of this woman's voice is unbeatable.
"Qué es, señora?" asked the staff to me. (What is it ma'am?)
That’s where I realized.
I shook her hand and smiled in embarrassment.
"Nada. Lo siento," I shyly said to her. (Nothing. I'm sorry.)
"Sol!" I close my eyes in annoyance because Kia called me.
This woman really doesn’t feel anything. I haven't told her about it yet so she has no idea.
I forced a smile when I face the three of them. They were looking at me while I'm walking towards them so it's fucking awkward!
Especially this Arki who is staring at me and doesn't even seem to blink! It was just a step away when suddenly a waiter passed by and seemed to be in a hurry but he didn't have anything with him.
We collided and the force of its impact on me so I was out of balance.
All of a sudden, I don't know how I will fall at the ground. I just closed my eyes and was ready to fall on the sand but I didn't feel anything.
I thought I will fall at the ground but I was wrong. Yes I fall, but on the person infront of me who catch me so fast.
He held my back to keep me from falling and his other hand held my other shoulder. I could feel the smoothness of his palms. While my hand is embarrassing because of its roughness. Too much as pulling at work.
"Lo lamento!" I even heard the promise of the one who hit me. (I'm sorry!)
But I can't look there because an eye has already caught my attention.
Now I just stare into his eyes and I can tell his eyes are beautiful.
It looks like a foreign mixture because his eyes are as blue as the sea and the sky. I looked at his lips and he's smiling at me.
When I regained consciousness because I had been staring at him for a few seconds I pulled away from it.
I straightened up and took a sip. "Ahh ... I'm sorry!" I said.
My eyes then became naughty because I wanted to avoid his melting stares.
It really went along with it. "Come with me Travis inside first because I forgot something," I heard Kia say.
I wanted to turn to them but I was already caught by Arki's stares. When they left, the awkwardness condensed even more between the two of us.
"Ah... what... your eyes are beautiful!" I said quickly.
I covered my mouth because of what I said. Shit you, Alba!
He might think you had a crushed on him because you praised him!
I bit my lips and look away.
"Thank you!" his weak promise.
My lips twisted. "I'm still busy," I told him when I had nothing more to say.
He chuckled in a sexy way. "Alright. I'll just be here on the right side." He pointed to his position.
I don't care.
I just nodded at him. I would have turned my back when he spoke again.
"I also love your eyes. Brown color. Don't you know that if you have color brown eyes, you're independent and determined person. Hmmm it's true... really true. I met a woman who's independent and determined but Sol .. I'll wait for the time where you can see yourself as a happy person because I saw loneliness in your eyes which is also the meaning of brown color. Please be happy because that suits you," he said seriously while looking straight at my eyes.
