21. Stubborn

"Cool that head of yours Naru. You don't deserve to show such insolence." I tried to make Naru less aggressive.
"Move aside." Naru pushed me and for some reason suddenly, she was now pulling Yori's shirt. "Don't ever appear in front of us again. If you do that, then I will destroy you."
"Crazy. What right do you have to forbid me like this." Yori tried to remove Naru's hands from her shirt. "It seems like you're too obsessed with Fujisaki. You should stay away from her. You're no different from Ikari, who tries to curb the freedom of his own members. People like you really have no heart." Yori, who was not to be outdone, was also ignited at last.
This atmosphere is getting heated. Naru who couldn't control her emotions. And Yori who was provoked made things even worse.
"Heh? Your words just now seemed to show me, that you yourself are not a good person either. It's like I can hear people who talk like you showing a sense of inadequacy, and end up blaming others instead. Isn't that true?" Naru's words made things even worse.
BREAK
I punched Naru in the face, causing her to bounce quite far away. I unconsciously did all that.
Naru rose to her feet. She looked at me in disbelief. "Why... Fujisaki?" She looked astonished at my violent actions towards her just now.
"You've gone too far Naru. Stop and leave!" I stared intently at Naru.
Naru just stayed silent. She seemed to be in disbelief that I would do something like this to her. She looked shocked, but that all changed quickly as she suddenly laughed.
"Are you having a mental breakdown now?" I quipped.
Naru spat, throwing away the remaining blood from her mouth. I didn't expect my fist just now to cause her this kind of injury.
"Quarrels like this are inevitable. I know that this kind of thing, one day, will definitely be passed by people who are in a friendship relationship. I understand." Naru rose to her feet then, she walked over to me. Then looked at me no less sharply. "This is common in friendship relationships."
"It's your obsession that's too much. You're filled with untrue fantasies." I pushed Naru away. Naru, however, pulled back my hand and slammed my body onto the ground. A fight was inevitable in the end.
"Damn," I cursed. I hurriedly got up before Naru returned her attack to me. And sure enough, if I hadn't been able to dodge, my head would've been hit by a kick launched by her long legs.
I hurriedly distanced myself from her. Although my body was thinner and a little smaller. I took advantage of that to counterattack Naru. I quickly jumped up and kicked Naru right in the stomach.
Despite being hit by my attack. Naru pulled my leg and was about to throw me down again. But this time, I defended and relied on the strength of my arm muscles. Successfully avoiding Naru's attack, I tried to find an opening. And attacked Naru with my elbow. Naru fell as my elbow hit her nose.
I was about to attack her again. But Yori held me back. I really didn't expect to be able to rampage like this, in my twin's body.
"Are you still hard to talk to. If not, let me beat your head even harder!" I exclaimed.
Naru who was lying down did not answer. While Yori who was holding me told me to calm down.
"Never mind Fujisaki. Calm yourself down!" Yori continued to hold my body.
"Naru I'm not going to talk to you. Until you think about all the mistakes you've made today." After that I asked Yori to let me go.
The atmosphere became chaotic. I didn't even expect that I could go this far. But I felt that Naru herself had gone too far this time. The attitude she showed was really very bad.
***
The next day
"Won't this bother her?" Yori looked at the screen of her smartphone doubtfully. She herself actually intended to meet Naru. Even to the point of asking for Naru's number.
"I hesitate to contact her," she muttered. But in the end he tried to contact Naru anyway.
Somehow, like a miracle happened. Yori, who was pessimistic about Naru, would not accept her invitation to meet, or could even block her number. What happened was just the opposite, Naru said yes to her invitation to meet.
And where they will meet is a small cafe that Yori subscribes to.
Someone entered the cafe, and Naru's tall figure loomed. Go inside. Naru was still wearing her school uniform. Ever since the teenage boy walked into the cafe, at least a few people especially teenage girls, turned their heads towards him.
Looks like she really has the aura of a star, Yori thought. Even she thought, if only Naru participated in an idol event, there would be many girls choosing her. The aura of a star does radiate from within her.
"Tsk. You came too early from the promised time," she said while pulling a chair.
"The sooner, the better. This is my regular place anyway, I won't mind waiting here for a long time," Yori replied casually. As much as possible Yori made herself not to provoke a scene against Naru.
"You know that I don't like you. But I still came here, just to try to make things go a little better. Yesterday's troubles were enough to make me feel disturbed." Naru was frank and didn't hide anything from her words.
Yori was at least grateful that Naru, spoke openly like this. She hoped it would be easy for her, when talking to her later.
"I knew that. Even since we met yesterday. I asked you here so that we could both talk with a cool head. For what happened last night, I also apologize if any of my words or actions hurt your feelings. I apologize sincerely," Yori said sincerely.
Naru was silent and just listened. From the expression on her face that looked flat, she probably looked like she wasn't listening.
"As you said to shorten the time. How about you, just speak openly here. I don't really like people who beat around the bush."
"I understand," Yori replied. Yori took a deep breath for a moment before exhaling quickly. She silently prayed in her heart that Naru. Not make a scene here, in case she misspoke.
"You're still not talking?" Naru looked impatient.
"Naru I am currently, speaking purely based on my point of view. And it's possible that it might make you feel offended. But can't you not restrain Fujisaki? I think you're too obsessed with her. Isn't that a bad thing?"
Naru's face immediately turned sour. Obviously Yori's words just now must have made her feel offended.
"Do I look so pathetic through your point of view. Even though I only did all that so that Fujisaki wouldn't get close to someone who wasn't suitable for her." Naru held her face with both hands on the table.
