20. Naru and Her Bad Attitude

Everything started to go in a better direction. Who would have thought that I, who was completely blind to everything that was going on in my twin Fujisaki's life. Now I'm adapting well. But even though I was happy, I was a little concerned about how Yori was doing.
I was worried, would Yori continue to be mistreated by Ikari? For some reason I felt like Ikari was holding Yori back. I felt like there was something going on between the two of them. Although this is none of my business, Yori herself is someone I already consider a friend.
"Fujisaki, I'd like to come to your house today, please?" Naru, out of nowhere, appeared suddenly and made me feel surprised.
"As you wish. Even if I forbid you, you'll still follow me around like a chick in the end," I said lazily. There was no point in forbidding someone like Naru.
Naru just laughed, she looked satisfied. Because I didn't refuse her request at all.
"Don't be like that. I won't trouble you. Later before we go home, let's stop by the chicken restaurant. It'll be my treat." Naru put her arm around my shoulder, and as usual I brushed it off quickly.
TRING TRING
My smartphone suddenly rang. I quickly looked at it, and it was Yori calling me. Seeing Yori's name, I immediately picked up the phone.
"Hello Fujisaki, can we meet today. I know, I must have bothered you. I won't force you," Yori said from the other side. Yori's voice sounded heavy and tired. It definitely seemed to indicate that she was having problems.
"Did something happen to you? I'm not out of the loop, if you're willing to tell me."
"Ikari... he's pressuring me more and more. It makes me feel more and more uncomfortable with him."
I knew this was bound to happen. Looking at the events of that time, I'm sure Ikari was acting more and more insolent towards his band members, especially Yori.
"Let's meet later. I'll listen to you. Cheer up Yori," I said trying to encourage her.
"Thank you Fujisaki. Let me know when we meet," she said before hanging up.
After the call was disconnected. I sighed heavily. Naru, who was standing behind me, seemed to be watching with a curious look on her face.
"Looks like I have some other business. If you want to come to my house sometime," I said before running away leaving Naru behind.
Naru, who was still standing where she was, looked annoyed. From the look on her wrinkled face, it was obvious.
"What are you hiding from me Fujisaki?" Naru muttered to herself.

Nighttime City Park
Yori invited me to meet at the city park at night. I said yes to her invitation. When I arrived at the city park, I had no trouble finding Yori. I could clearly see a teenage boy with his distinctive red hair. He was not far from me, waving his hand at me.
I quickly went to him. "Yori, are you okay?" I could see that Yori's face looked a little pale.
Yori shook her head, urging me to sit beside her. "Thank you, for taking your time for me. I hope you don't mind hearing all my complaints," she said.
I shook my head. "Just tell me. I'll listen to you," I said, trying to calm Yori down.
Yori smiled. After that she started to tell me all the problems that happened to her, and also her band members. Where all the problems were caused by Ikari's cunning.
***
"I guess that's how it all happened. Ikari has really started to lose his mind. He keeps suppressing his own members," Yori concluded after he had told her all the problems he had experienced.
It was quite a long story given by Yori. But I didn't mind listening to it at all, and being concerned about Yori. From Yori's story alone, I can conclude that it seems like Ikari itself, is also not doing well. That's why Ikari suppressed his own members, to vent his pent-up emotions. I can imagine how heated the relationship between each of their members is right now.
"It seems like I told you too long a story. Fujisaki, thank you for listening to me," Yori said in a voice that sounded much more cheerful than before. Luckily it seemed Yori wasn't the type to get carried away too easily.
I waved my hand in front of my face. "No... no. Gosh you're overreacting. I can't help you that's why I'm listening to all your complaints." Ah, it's lucky that Yori isn't someone I want to antagonize. If I had even the slightest bit of malice, this would have been an opportunity for me.
"I told you a long story earlier. Let me buy you a drink. Let's go find a cold drink first," Yori invited.
"Yes," I said as I got up and was about to catch up with Yori who was already walking ahead of me.
But not even a few steps, I found Naru standing not far in front of me. From her face she looked like she wanted to cause trouble. In my mind what, having a friend like Naru my whole world is centered on her alone?
"What are you doing here Naru?" I scolded her.
Naru didn't listen to me. Instead, she kept going, stopping right in front of Yori.
"I seem to recognize you. Wait... aren't you a band member of the famous Akai-Street? Huh how could you possibly be here. I heard your band is going to be my band's rival. Do you want to make trouble with us, because of your band's poor performance?"
Yori looked confused as well as shocked, why was Naru suddenly talking to her like that.
"I don't understand what you're saying. I don't have any problems with you guys at all. I just wanted to talk to Fujisaki because she's my friend," Yori replied.
Naru chuckled, she looked like she was underestimating Yori and seemed to want to make her look wrong.
"Are you trying to influence our vocalist? I suspect you're a bad influence on him." Naru endlessly continued to give Yori unfounded accusations.
"I really don't understand all your words."
"Stay away from Fujisaki. If you're not going to do it. You're just asking me to pick a fight with you," Naru challenged.
Yori raised one eyebrow. "I don't recall ever getting into trouble with you. And why should I take your word for it, as if I've committed a sin just for meeting Fujisaki." Yori began to look displeased at the bad attitude Naru was showing her.
"Naru, never mind. You just leave. Since when can you talk to this extent, to someone you don't know well?" I tried to break it up. Especially Naru, I tried to keep her away from Yori.
"You should realize not to get in close contact, with your opponent," Naru said coldly.
Damn! Since when did she dare to order me around? Who does she think she is. Even though she's just a freak who keeps sticking with me by force.
