8. Ha Han's Threat

Lang Ming approached Chan Do, momentarily making sure whether the young man was still under the influence of the snake monster or otherwise.
"Hel... p..." A moaning voice came out of Chan Do's mouth. The young man appeared powerless.
Lan Ming aided him with his healing skills. Although he couldn't fully recover him, it was enough to give Chan Do some energy to sustain his life.
Now the snake scales had disappeared, leaving prominent marks on Chan Do's skin. This was a rare case where a small god, even without an official title, could survive after being bitten by the monster snake. It seemed that Chan Do had absorbed the power of the snake, although he had lost control. While occurrences like this were rare, gods who could do this had a high potential for combat. It seemed that Chan Do was one of those gods with the potential to become a high-level combatant.
"Calm down, I will help you," said Lan Ming, while treating Chan Do. He deliberately put Chan Do to sleep again so he could concentrate on restoring him.
As he focused on treating Chan Do, Lan Ming noticed a piece of flying cloth floating above his head. One of the Wind God's hands caught the piece of cloth. And when the piece of cloth was in his hand, there was a message inside it.
Lan Ming was almost biting his own lips with his teeth. The Wind God had even unconsciously wounded his own lips, causing blood to flow. He was truly angry to find Ha Han resorting to dirty tactics to bring him back to the Celestial Realm. Lan Ming swore never to return to the Celestial Realm until he had fought with the Thunder God.
***
Upon returning from the Wind City, Lan Ming deliberately transported himself and Chan Do directly to the hut. He also opened a portal for Je Xi and Bi Kwe to meet him immediately. Coincidentally, Ying would be returning late today, which is why he took advantage of the hut's current condition.
"He's going to be okay," Lan Ming tried to inform the others about Chan Do's condition.
Bi Kwe cried in sobs, terrified to death if anything happened to her brother. "I will help speed up his recovery process," she said with a trembling voice. Bi Kwe took out the wooden box that Chan Do had used to heal himself before. She did the same thing Chan Do had done to her.
"I've never seen a technique like this before," Je Xi said, curious about the technique used by Bi Kwe.
Honestly, Lan Ming didn't know much about the technique used by Bi Kwe either. Although he didn't ask, it was clear from his eyes that he looked curious and hoped Bi Kwe would explain.
"You high-class gods and goddesses will never know the use of lowly techniques like this." Bi Kwe wiped her nose, although she didn't seem to intend to give an explanation, she immediately revealed the technique. "The Crazy Box is a secret technique of our family. This technique will heal any creature placed inside it. The system involves destroying damaged energy and accelerating the birth of new energy. So it takes a little time until the creature awakens from this box, only then will it recover when its consciousness returns."
Hearing Bi Kwe's explanation, Lan Ming was slightly reminded of something he had heard before.
"Wait, do you know Fa Yung?" Lan Ming suddenly asked Bi Kwe.
Bi Kwe raised an eyebrow. "Why are you suddenly asking me about this?"
"Just answer!"
Bi Kwe snorted. "Of course, I know him, he's my grandfather. Why would a high-level god like you bring up a god who is too old and almost forgotten?"
"Seeing your attitude, it seems you do know the history of your grandfather. Am I wrong?" Lan Ming stared straight at Bi Kwe and was met with a sharp retort from the Goddess of Thieves.
"You high-level gods often don't care about our survival. You treat us with disdain. My grandfather used to work to heal crazy fighting gods like you. But one day he was accused and banished. Leaving us, his descendants, to live without a clear identity!" Bi Kwe couldn't hold back her emotions. "Your brother, the damn Thunder God, also contributed to the misfortunes suffered by my grandfather."
Hearing Ha Han mentioned, Lan Ming just shrugged. "That's the kind of top-class scoundrel he is. That's why I don't want to stay with him," Lan Ming said, also blaming his brother.
"Aish, you're just like that scoundrel!" Bi Kwe sighed. "Let it be, that's all in the past. I don't want to bring it up again," she said, disgusted.
***
"In that case, you may seek revenge on Ha Han. I mean, I intend to rebel against him. If you intend to join me, I will make that bastard regret his actions." Suddenly, without hesitation, Lan Ming blurted out the crazy idea that crossed his mind.
"Lan Ming, please stop me. I know you don't like Brother Ha Han. But not like this, not this way to oppose him. This will only cause bigger problems for you." Je Xi, who had been silent all along, finally spoke up when he felt the conversation veering off track.
Lan Ming looked like he was about to argue, but unexpectedly, Bi Kwe suddenly said something unexpected.
"I'll go with you. If I have the chance to see that bastard, I won't hesitate to make him drink the poison made from my peony flowers," she said passionately.
Lan Ming smiled triumphantly, while Je Xi grew more worried. Now not only he but also Bi Kwe would join Lan Ming's journey. He secretly worried that his romantic rival would increase. But that thought couldn't linger for long, especially when he heard the joyful cheers from Bi Kwe upon finding Chan Do awake.
BRAK
So overjoyed, Bi Kwe was so excited that she didn't realize she jumped into the wooden box. She then hugged Chan Do tightly, almost causing the young man to lose consciousness again for the second time.
"He could really die this time if you hug him like that," Lan Ming said incredulously, finding Bi Kwe behaving like a wild horse.
Bi Kwe didn't listen; she continued to hug Chan Do tightly, causing the young man to almost lose consciousness again for the second time.
***
"You should rest a lot," Lan Ming advised while checking if there was still any evil energy clinging to the young god's body. The fine-textured sand entered Chan Do's ears and sucked up the remaining evil energy, also detecting if there was anything suspicious inside his body.
