The stars in the sky twinkle like rare diamonds above. The moon dims its brightness, casting an adorable glow, while the sky, the artist, meticulously animates, ensuring Earth receives its deserved respect and nighttime brightness. The weather was so cold, chilling the air even further, causing the trees to wrestle with the breeze as leaves swirled in from various directions. There were two electric poles on the left and two on the right flushing the front of the building with light and it was very close to the concrete fence. The main building itself has several bulbs connected. With this bulb everywhere was brightened to the fullest, the security house was very close to the gate and the main building was separate from the gate about 20ft long The building in front was big and occupy alot of spaces A very clean and well-painted facade with medium windows, At the top of the entrance is a fancy board with words boldly written out " DeBest Hospital" with a slogan under "Forever your service." A general hospital symbol is placed at the sight of the board. There was a suitable parking space and it was more than a welcoming atmosphere for the patients Everywhere was silent, it just made me remember the bank and how calm and business-minded it was. The crazy white bulbs used in lighting up different blocks made the surroundings chase the darkness away. Two able guys on duty rushed out of the security building and dragged the heavy hospital gate open, they wore their security uniform which was all black. The siren blares and the light flashes, the security men spaced from the gate to keep their self safe. The ambulance screeched into the opening. The gate was closed immediately. The ambulance door was pushed open and a pregnant lady in distress was supported out of the ambulance by a nurse and Adam, her husband supported her with his right hand around her shoulder "Everything will be okay baby." He sat her on the stretcher and supported her to lay on it. "Go I'm waiting for you and my baby." Two nurses, urgency etched on their faces, swiftly emerged, their hands guiding the stretcher into the hospital with determined speed, racing against time to ensure the safety of both mother and child. Adam walked behind them as the stretcher was pushed very fast into the hospital. He has waited for this day his entire life and in just a few minutes he will be called a father. The joy in his heart needed no gym to get fitted cause he was more than happy, even with his happiness he hoped for the best to happen to him and his wife Veronica. As Veronica was pushed into the hospital it was not less than two minutes before the door was pushed open again by the security men. The first ambulance vacated the position immediately another ambulance drove in, it halted infront of the hospital. Two different nurses rushed out of the hospital with a stretcher. The ambulance door was pushed open, and Doris was escorted out of the ambulance. She was escorted by a nurse to rest on the stretcher but her husband, Toes was not with her, hope everything was well with him. As she lay on the stretcher, her groans punctuated the air, a symphony of discomfort. With a sense of urgency akin to a race against time, she was swiftly ushered into the hospital, the bustling corridors a blur as she was propelled forward with remarkable haste. *********** Highway ************ Toe inside his moving vehicle was very frustrated he wished his car was super faster but his car was very fast and he was driving at top speed then imagine how he was feeling, very frustrated to the earth core. He slowed down because any more speed he took would attract the road security. He maintained the slow drive and got closer, he finally arrived at the road leading to the hospital. There was a long queue of vehicles, moving slowly and some were still pressing their car horns, some left their cars and paced around, it was getting darker and what would cause such traffic? Toes felt his world was over, his wife was in a hospital, and she might really need him to keep the journey going. He pushed his car horn hard which made other users yell at him. His phone rang, he looked very angry, it was an unknown caller, he ignorantly answered the call. "Hello, this is Toes speaking. May i know who I'm speaking with?" He asked politely waving off his disappointment. He leaned on the car. "This is Racheal speaking, calling from the esteemed 'Debest' hospital." "Debest hospital?" he inquired, a blend of excitement and desperation coloring his tone. For a moment, he stood frozen, his frustrated expression instantly transforming into a smile that illuminated his face. "Is my wife alright?" he implores, striding away from the car. The urgency in his voice betrays his anxiety; he can't bear to wait any longer without knowing her condition. "Relax, Toes, don't make things more difficult for yourself," she advised gently. "She passed me your number; she mentioned you're a doctor." There was a pause, I don't know if she was waiting for him to confirm or if she paused for something else. "Yes, I'm a doctor. Tell me what i can do, Rachel," he responded calmly, his demeanor and authoritative voice drawing the attention of those around him. "I've been calling from one doctor to another, but they're all tied up with different situations. And as I speak to you, your wife is the second pregnant patient admitted to our hospital," she explained, a hint of concern in her voice. "Hope you can do something about it?" Toes paused when the last words hit him. Tobecontinue
