I went downstairs when I was ready to put the things I needed to take to the room. I asked our maids to help me bring it to my car. I was about to go to the dining area but I took a step back when I heard mom's voice and the man. I didn’t leave right away at first and tried to eavesdrop on them while my hands were inside my pocket. The maid approached me to ask but I made a hand gesture to her. My mother called her, asking for assistance. When the maid exited the dining area, I abruptly asked her who was the guy that my mom was with. She said the man was always with my mom. I can't figure out what my reaction should be. All I know is that I don't agree with that. I know that can't be called cheating because dad hasn't been around for a long time but I don't think I can see that someone will replace him right away. I didn't stay long and I immediately went out to leave the mansion. I noticed that the sky seemed to be getting darker. It looked like heavy rain would fall at any moment so I hurried to drive. I didn't want to go home right away so I thought of going to the fast-food restaurant to eat first. I ordered pasta and Lemon tea. Just enough for me. She smiled as the loneliness painted on her face. She was touching her tummy “Her dad left us.” She said I felt sorry for her. I felt guilty for staring at her tummy. I shouldn’t have done that.
“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to—” I was cut off when she let out a chuckle.
“It’s fine, it’s fine.” She slightly shook her head and wiped her eyes.

“How about you? I heard you are soon to be a father? You and Louisa are perfect for each other.” I suddenly went back to my senses when he mentioned Louisa’s name. “Cassandra,” I uttered.
“You mean Cassandra Lindon? That girl? How did that happen? I mean, I just can’t believe it. You know, You liked Louisa and I didn’t expect you to end up with Cassandra.” I nodded as I could look at her straight.
“Oh, I’m sorry if I offended you Xy. I was surprised.”
"Even me I was surprised.” I grinned bitterly. “ I accidentally got her pregnant.” She was shocked by what I told her. Her expression was even more surprising.
“That was horrible.”
“Yeah, too bad for me. Well, She told me we got drunk that night and we did something miraculous. I didn't know what really happened. I passed out. I woke up with her in the same bed both naked.” I avoiding to open this topic but I couldn't help it since she already knew.
“But how was Louisa did she know that?”
I nodded. “She knows everything about me. And I think I should stop chasing her. I should focus on my child and career instead.”
"That’s okay, You’ll be a good father Xy. I knew that. Anyway, mind if I go?” She stood up and tapped my shoulder. “Uh, Here’s my calling card if you need help. See you around.”
“All right. Got it, Thanks! You can ride in my car.” I offered.

"She wants to kill herself, I’m begging you. Please help my daughter. I can’t lose her, please! ” She begged. I nodded to her as I promised that everything will be fine.
I will not let our child go. Maybe I regret having the baby but I still have a heart as a father.
“Open this door! Cassandra. ” I insisted and continued to knock on the door. I heard her crying inside.
“Come on! Don’t be so pretentious that you don’t want this baby to be gone.” Cassandra shouted.
“We can talk about this, please. Open this door! ” I'm not sure what's going through her head to make her say this. All I know is that I have to save her.
"And if the baby is not born, We will both be happy right?” She said, crying.

There, I saw Cassandra and lots of tablets scattered on the floor. She was sobbing. I slowly approached her and slowly picked up the medicines on the floor. I also took water from her table so that she could calm. She hugged me and cried on my shoulder.
