You forgot your coat here in my bed] Louisa spoke through the other line.
“Just leave it there. I’ll get that once I pass by.” I suddenly remembered why I forgot my coat. Hoping that she won’t think about anything else except what happened, she slept in her room instead of on the sofa. Before she woke up I left her in her condo while asleep and left a note on the TV so she could notice it. I didn’t wait for her to wake up because Xymon went to my apartment to talk about the business of Wilton Company. That's why I went for him. He said he needs my help managing the business especially dad bequeathed it to us. He didn’t want to be unfair about the inheritance yet I said I need more time for everything to settle down. Fortunately, Xymon understands my point of view. We still had some time to talk about various topics. I brought out some wine so that we could all share it. I'm only just now seeing Xymon again because he's been so busy traveling and entering different countries to run a business. He even joked that I should accompany him the next time he leaves the country. He said: "There are many beautiful and sexy women out there that I'm sure I'll like. I just laughed. I told him I wasn't looking for a woman. I don't feel like hanging out if I'm alone. Unlike before, I've traveled almost all over the world.
“Let’s just enjoy hanging out. You know, twins bonding. Chillin with the sexy woman. Staying up late at night. ” He said while pouring his glass of wine. I laughed at what he said. I wondered how many women did Xymon take home. Probably more than me before.
“I’m not kidding. Let’s have fun for just two weeks before I get busy. I swear once we get back you’ll have a girlfriend right away.” He further said,
“I’ll think of it.” I sighed.
“Come on, dude Just give a fuck! Everything is fine. Dad doesn’t want to see you like that.” He tapped my back.
“Yeah.”
After that day, We flew to other countries for two weeks’ vacation but I extended at least one week to stay. I told Louisa about this and asked her if she wanted to come with me. She declined because she would be busy. I was here leaning on the cruise ship balcony, smoking while people here our being wild, that’s what a cruise ship party is. Girls with their bikinis, couples making out, Alcohol, and wild music.
“Hey, Drinks? Uhm, I’m Vivian anyway.” The lady came close and offered drinks. Her hands seductively traveled on my shoulder.
“Nice meeting you beautiful Vivian.” I wrapped my arms around her waist as her body was shaking because of the music.
“Let’s go, I have something to show you.” She whispered in my ears. I just followed her head to the bedroom. I think she was a little tipsy. Xymon saw us but she just smiled at me and gave a thumbs up.
As we reached the bedroom. The lady became wild at me as she was about to kiss me. I pushed her away. Unlike before, I didn’t want the night to end without making out with the girls.
“Why? What’s the problem? Don't you like me?”
“I forgot, My girlfriend, is around. Excuse me.” I left her in the room dumbfounded.
I went where Xymon was. I saw him in a circle with the ladies drinking champagne.
“What happened dude. Did you score?” He nudged me, teasing. I whispered to him
“Did she? She didn’t pass.” I chuckled.
The party was still not over but I felt dizzy. I drank a lot. It was almost midnight as I felt a bit drunk as I lay down on the bed. I took my phone out of my pocket and made a sudden phone call to Louisa.
“Lou?” I started.
“Yep? why?”
“Nothing I. I just want to ask how are you there?”
“Pretty fine. I’m busy right now and uh, I'm just checking my emails. How about your vacation with your twin? Why are you still up?” She asked. I couldn’t answer immediately.
“Next time, I want to be back here with you,” I said. My eyes were closed because of dizziness. I heard she laughed a little.
“Well uh, maybe next time. ” She responded. I didn’t speak right after, instead, I hung up the call.
The past few weeks I have been here, I spent my days going out, partying all night, roaming around the beautiful places. I bought two key chains. One was to design the sun and the other one was to design the moon. I would give the moon keychain to Louisa once I'd get back. I know she would like it.
Xymon flew back to the country as he didn't want to neglect the business while I stayed here for a temporary vacation. I wasn't sure when I had a plan to go back. If you don’t look at the calendar, you won’t notice the passage of each day. I stayed here for almost three months so that I could think. After the night I talked to Louisa on the phone, It didn't happen again. She then even tried to reach out to me most of the time but then I ignored her. I wasn't angry, which is why I avoided her. I felt something was missing, but I didn't want to look for her to fill it, so I stopped myself from contacting her. Besides, it's been a few weeks since she stopped talking to me. My mind and heart are both perplexed. My heart wanted to push me towards her but my mind told me to forget her before I might get hurt in the end. It felt strange. I didn’t know if when I came back I wanted her to know my feelings. I've been hiding my feelings for too long. It sucks! I went on vacation hoping to change my feelings for her, but I didn't. I was the only one who was struggling. My feelings for her have grown stronger. I even tried to flirt by making out with other women, but I felt bad about it. Louisa's face always haunts my mind whenever I face another woman. Even when I sleep, she doesn't disappear.
There seems to be something bothering me so I decided to fly back home tomorrow. I have packed some things in my suitcase that I brought here to the hotel to be ready to go home. When it was over, I opened my social media account and noticed the new photo that Louisa posted two days ago. The place was in the coffee shop and the red rose bouquet was under the table as she captioned it. "It gave me butterflies." I instantly felt frustrated as I saw it. Did she date someone so she didn't call me anymore?
