CHAPTER 20
"Then, what about the few guards and servants who were killed by the Nysrogh?" asked Viviana again.
"All of them were killed and have been taken care of by my men. There is only one servant of the Lady's who survived but he was injured quite badly. Two Witches from the Magic Tower are trying to treat her now," explained Raymond.
Viviana snarled at the blanket and gritted her teeth. Her gloomy face was now re-imagining the events she experienced yesterday.
The scattered corpses of her people. Killed in just one attack. The stench of blood seemed to waft into her nostrils again.
It was the first time Viviana had seen so many people die in front of her own eyes. Even she almost lost her life. Fortunately, there was a savior who came and immediately defeated the Nysrogh Demon in just a few attacks. At least there was still one of his closest servants who still survived even though he had to be injured quite badly.
Seeing the gloomy expression and also filled with anger at the woman in front of him, Raymond was even more sorry for himself.
As a leader of the Magic Tower, the threatening demon should not be able to hurt people. Only because of his lack of accuracy and also unable to detect the demon's arrival, causing several people to die and traumatizing a weak woman like Lady Eustacio.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Wyatt. Please leave me alone. I would like to calm down," Viviana politely pleaded.
"Good. You should rest well, Lady."
"But before that, there is something I would like to give Lady."
Viviana tilted her head to look at Raymond who stood beside her bed.
"Vocatio!"
Raymond extended his left hand forward and after reciting an incantation, a silver-colored bracelet appeared in his left hand.
He presented it to Lady Eustacio, hoping to receive it. Viviana took it, "What is this bracelet?"
Even though there was no need to explain, Viviana already knew what this silver bracelet was that Raymond had given her.
A silver bracelet with small engravings around it. The size is quite small. It had the same Mana power as Raymond.
"I regret not being able to solve the Nysrogh Demon problem quickly and ending up hurting Lady. I'm afraid there are still other Demons targeting Lady. The bracelet is directly connected to me. If something dangerous happens, Lady only needs to call my name, then I will immediately come before Lady to help," Raymond explained.
Viviana nodded in understanding. She also didn't want to reject the kindness that the Magic Tower Leader had given her.
"Good. Thank you for all your help, Mr. Wyatt."
Raymond bowed respectfully and finally left Viviana's room.
Viviana who sat leaning on her bed continued to stare intently at the silver bracelet that was still in her right palm.
Looking at the very small size of the bracelet. Comparing it to her wrist, it probably wouldn't fit.
"This bracelet would probably fit me if I was ten years old," she grumbled with pouty lips.
Suddenly, a dazzling light appeared from the silver bracelet. A white light that dazzled the eyes. The silver bracelet suddenly levitated under its own power.
Wusshh ....
Viviana, who had closed her eyes because of the glare, felt something strange on her right wrist.
When she opened her eyes, the bracelet that had been small was now attached to her right wrist. It was neither narrow nor oversized. It fit like it was destined for Viviana alone.
And it turned out that the silver bracelet could adjust its own size according to the owner's wishes. Viviana was not worried about how to store this important object given by the Leader of the Magic Tower. Now it was beautifully attached to her right hand.

"Ray!"
"Ignis interitus!"
The slashing sword unleashed the power of great flames. It formed like a crescent moon and cut through the trees that moved before it.
The trees that could move using their legs and two large branches as hands, the aura of red eyes seemed to radiate.
When Raymond's fire attack hit the trees, they were all burnt to a crisp. Leaving a screaming sound in the pit of hell.
However, there were many others. This area of the forest had all been enchanted. The trees and animals living in it were possessed by the black Mana of the Devil. Making everything move freely with hatred and a desire to kill.
"Ray, do we need to call the other witches to help?" asked Aiden, who seemed to be getting overwhelmed.
"No need!" Ray vehemently refused.
"Anima Purificationis ....!"
His crimson eyes blazed brightly like hellfire. The sword in his hand straightened to resemble his body. It gave off the power of flames that surrounded it with intense heat.
The sword in hand was raised high. The red light formed a circle in the sky. A basic triangular pattern with a spell written around it, a huge wind appeared as if it was being sucked into the vortex of the spell circle.
Black smoke billowed above the animals and trees that were moving brutally. It sucked away all the evil soul auras embedded in all of them.
"Perdere!"
Slashed his sword into the sky. The spell circle in the sky that he created was shattered.
The evil souls possessing the surrounding trees and animals were sucked away and destroyed. Everything returned to its original calm.
Raymond sighed and put his favorite sword back using storage magic.
Aiden who stood behind Raymond gawked at the events just now.
All problems were solved in just a moment, without even asking other witches to help. A Raymond Wyatt alone was able to handle it on his own.
This made Aiden both surprised and amazed. The Magic Power possessed by the leader of the Magic Tower had reached Circle 9, which was the highest level.
"Ray, has your ability increased again?" asked Aiden who was still surprised.
"Just a month ago," Raymond replied casually.
"Oh my! Seriously!"
Aiden let out a quick breath. He turned around and opened his mouth wide. His eyes widened because he was still not convinced that Raymond Wyatt had really surpassed him.
"You really are the first witch to reach Circle 9 at the age of twenty, Ray."
Raymond ignored the praise from his colleague and assistant. It was better to decide to leave the forest where the Nysrogh Demon lived.
Aiden remained where he was. Staring intently at his friend who walked further and further away from him.
The idol, pride, and role model in Aiden's life. There really was no mistaking the man Aiden had chosen to be his superior.
"If Ray has reached the highest Circle, then I will be more active in raising my strength as well."
Further instilling confidence in himself. Aiden wanted to be the first to help and protect Raymond Wyatt who was the source of his motivation.
"Hay, Ray! Wait!"
By improving his magic ability, only then could he become a person worthy of Raymond Wyatt's trust.
The happiness in Aiden's life had been given to Raymond Wyatt. Loyalty was even willing to risk his life for the person who had once saved him from misfortune.Download Novelah App
