The explosion caused the carriage to shatter. The two women sitting inside were sent flying several meters away.
Black smoke surrounded the shattered carriage. Viviana, who was thrown far away, slammed into a large tree. It hit her right in the back.
Meanwhile, Jane was already unconscious because she was thrown further than Viviana behind.
"Ugh!" Her whole body ached, especially her back. Viviana was coughing and clutching her tight chest.
Her dress was no longer organized and her hair was disheveled. Viviana vomited quite a lot of blood from hitting the tree trunk so hard.
As she tried to lift her head, she saw that several people who had come with her had been reduced to corpses. They were covered in blood that poured out on the ground. The pungent stench of blood from those people made Viviana round her eyes.

Viviana's body trembled. Tears welled up in her eyes as she saw that everyone who had been alive with her until a moment ago had now perished.
    
A figure that resembled a tree in height appeared. His skin was dark in color with black eyeballs. His tall body had very long legs compared to his body. 
The nails on his hands and feet were longer than the claws of an eagle. Each of its footsteps treaded happily deep into the fertile soil below.

His voice sounded scary more than any wild animal. Viviana swallowed heavily and sweat poured down her face.

Both of the demon's eyes were fixed on the woman sitting under the large tree in front of it. 
Its canine teeth made a loud sound like a starving animal. Its slightly hunched body walked closer to the woman again.
A loud bang was felt as each of his footsteps hit the ground. Like an earthquake that was felt over and over again.
"So you're the little human who dared to kill my loyal followers?!"
The startled Viviana looked up with tears streaming down her face. The demon's power made her unable to move. She also couldn't escape due to the pain and stiffness in her body.

A huge black force resembling a huge storm shot out from the demon's right palm. 
It flung the power forward, right at the silver-haired woman there.
"Ah!" Viviana closed her eyes and covered her face with both arms.

Suddenly, a light blue shield appeared around Viviana's body. The attack from the demon was deflected and instead struck back at its owner.
The demon was knocked back a few steps. He grew angrier and shouted, causing the surrounding trees to echo with his voice.
Viviana, who was hesitant because she was fine, began to open her eyes. She lowered her arms slowly and saw what had happened.
A bright blue shield surrounded her. There was a magic pattern on the front that Viviana saw.
"A magic shield wall?!" Viviana was astonished that a shield made of magic was suddenly protecting her. That's why the demon's attack didn't hit her.
"Who?! Who dares to disturb me?!"
The demon looked furious. Searching in all directions for the other figure who made a shield for the woman he wanted to destroy.

That scream was so loud again. Making Viviana cover her ears tightly as it hurt to hear the demon's deadly scream.
"Hellfire Incarnate!"
There was a fire attack that suddenly appeared from behind. It hit right on the demon's back and made the demon sit up and fall down.

His scream could not be muffled. The demon's body was half-burned with fast-flaming flames.
Viviana tried to open her eyes. She saw a large flame burning the demon's back in front of her.
Then, a man with jet-black hair and wings spread wide appeared hovering over the demon.
There was a black-colored sword that gave off a dark aura in his right hand.
"Go back to hell!"
The sword in hand thrust forward upright. The left hand left two fingers standing upright with the others folded, clenched. Put it in front of the chest and recite an incantation.
"The Gates of Hell! Anoixe!"
The sword was released. It spun above the demon's head and gave off a white light. 
A circle with a pattern in the center formed above the demon's head. It slowly began to descend to devour the demon's body.

Leaving a sound that began to fade and returned to calm.
The black sword with a deep red flame returned to its owner's hand. It also slowly disappeared according to its master's will.
Finally, the atmosphere became silent. Leaving only the chaos made by the demon and a few scattered corpses.
Slowly the magic shield around Viviana also disappeared. The situation was safe thanks to the presence of the Leader of the Magic Tower, Raymond Wyatt.
"Lady!" Raymond ran up to Viviana after landing his feet on the ground.
"Are you alright?!" His concern was evident as Viviana tried to get up but fell down again.
Raymond helped Viviana to get up. However, Viviana's vision was slowly getting fainter and darker.

Suddenly unconscious and Raymond swiftly held her in his lap.

Finally, she slowly opened her eyes. Viviana felt cool air entering her body periodically. It made her feel more comfortable and all the pain in her body began to subside.
When she opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was the green light coming out of two palms. Two arms that were above her body while maintaining a distance, that was the source of the cool feeling Viviana felt.
When she glanced to the side, it was clear who was helping her with healing magic.
"Mr. Leader ...."
"Don't speak!"
Not having finished his words, Raymond cut Viviana off. Viviana became silent again and let Raymond finish healing her.
After a while, there was finally no more pain in Viviana's body. There was only a slight dizziness in her head because she was too shocked by the incident she experienced.
Viviana was now in her room. She did not expect that the leader of the Magic Tower would immediately bring her back to Marquess Eustacio's mansion after being unconscious.
"Thank you for helping me," Viviana said, still stammering.
"No, I'm not. I should be the one apologizing. That demon is named Nysrogh. He is the demon lord of the demon follower who kidnapped Lady the other day. Because his followers had been killed, Nysrogh targeted Lady as the last person to be sacrificed by his followers," explained Raymond.
