How many times that Scorch tell himself that don't be too amazed by the places he sees because he already prove that behind every beauty there's something evil beneath them, he looks at the valley in between the two mountains, plants and animals can be seen around many flowers are there too, both of them are amazed by the place in fact this is the first time for the both of them because Veena is using teleportation when she is traveling to Earth from the lost world she doesn't want to go into these six unknown places if she can do it more easier but now she can't because if she didn't guide these angel he might die to the core of hell.
"Let's go there" Scorch said and walk ahead without looking back at Veena but she just look at the trees like they are foreign in her eyes
"Something tells me that there's wrong in this place" Veena said even if she didn't saw some of non magical plants she knew what real feels but when she look behind her Scorch is nowhere to be seen, she groan and look around the place
"Where did that angel go?" She said to herself and look around again
On the other side Scorch look behind him and notice that Veena is not with him
"So all this time I'm just walking with myself" he said and look around to his surrounding, it looks like he is in a forest because of the trees and plants that he sees but because of curiosity he decided to walk further even if Veena is not with him, he is nervous he admit it because he doesn't want to be in trouble
"Come here follow my voice" an anonymous voice said and be didn't know if he should follow or not because the voice is very smooth and his body betrayed him and follow the voice
"This way my dear follow my voice" it said again and be did what it says be followed until a lake I'd in his sight but a hand grab him from behind
"There you are, where are you going? " Veena said while holding Scorch in his shoulders but he just stare at her blankly like he is a cold ice that doesn't have any feelings
This time Veena starts to wonder what is happening to Scorch when he is gone like ten minutes ago and she will found him like this but she bet that he is in trouble base on his eyes right now, she didn't know but she felt like she is his saviour and she is actually waiting for the time that she will not going to save him
"Scorch? " she said when he didn't answer her and just stare at her straight in the eyes
"Come here my dear don't listen to her" the voice said again and this time Veena heard it but when she is about to stop Scorch, he push her hard to the ground and walk to the lake, that's the time that Veena saw a lady when she look at the lake but she is not an ordinary lady because she is a mermaid with a shiny gray long hair, Pearl white skin, a very smooth attractive voice and glowing seductive eyes but one thing that makes her stand out and that is a fang, yeah right that mermaid have a fang
"Scorch don't!" she shouted when she saw him walking to the water, she was about to stand up but the vines with thorns crawled into her feet and that stopped her from getting up but she didn't give up because she saw the mermaid put her hands into his head and they dive into the water
"Scorch! " she shouted and tried to pull the vines off her feet but the vines only tightens when she touch it so she doesn't have a choice but to burn it and then she dive into the water
She knew that if Scorch was out of sight means danger is on site and she was right now, here they are facing the danger or should she say the mermaid and again there's the victim Scorch and she is the heroic creature that is trying to save him from danger and she swear that she is going to beat him if something happens to the both of them. Veena saw that the mermaid is leading Scorch to the deepest part of the lake so she swim faster but the mermaid saw her and blew something like a bubble at first she didn't care about it but when the bubble comes in contact with her face she felt like her vision turn black and the last thing she saw is the mermaid doing the same thing with Scorch

Two weeks without Scorch and her family is hard for Elena even if no dark creatures are attacking her, time flies so fast that she didn't even notice it, she already talked to her friends and they are visiting her everyday, doing sleepover and bringing her foods, Elena appreciated those things and she is doing her daily routines again because of her friends but she is still worried about Scorch, she want to tell it to her friends but she thinks that they might think that she is going insane so she just shut her mouth and smile with them.
It's six o'clock in the evening and the sky is very beautiful with an orange color and Elena just sat in the swing while watching the sunset, she is alone in the playground since the children already go home and the people just walk passed by the park, she smiled while watching the sunset and it calms her by just looking at it.
Everything is calming and beautiful for her but not until she saw a figure that is hiding behind the tree so she thought that it's one of the children that is playing hide and seek before but at the same time not because she can feel a different aura surrounds that tree
"Who's there? " she asked while standing  up from the swing but no one answer her and what shocked her is when the figure comes out into it's hiding place, the figure have a carabao head but have a big human body and when she looks into it's hand that creature holds a huge ax because she felt scared she ran out of the playground but she still heard the sound of that creature's footsteps that is following her
"You will die! " the creature shouted and when she look back the creature have thrown the ax and it is coming into her, she froze in her spot and close her eyes already saying goodbye to everyone, but nothing comes so she open her eyes and saw that someone is standing in front of her and she saw on the ax on the left side so she thinks that the man who is standing in front of her dodge it
She hope that it is Scorch but he is not because his aura is different, Scorch's aura is very welcoming while this man's aura is very cold maybe colder than ice if that's possible
"Who are you? " she said but the man didn't answer her and then she felt like someone is controlling her mind
Sleep
The voice in her head said but before her vision turn black she saw the man's hand that have fire, she wonder who is that man? Then her whole world turns black.

Veena woke up into a unfamiliar place but she can see many trees like she's inside a forest and the place is quit dark too so she guess that it is dawn, she decided to walk but she's still wondering where is she?  And where's Scorch and the mermaid? Then she remember something that the mermaid blew to their faces before she blacked out
"I swear I'm going to burn that mermaid" she mumbled to herself and just continue to walk hoping to find a way like she always did
She may not know what happened but she felt different, she felt like something is going to happen and she trust her feelings when it comes to the situation like this. After a few minutes of walking, not that far from her she saw a light but when she was about to walk on that light, the light was followed by another one and another one until she realize that the humans are running and when she looks around why are that humans are running she saw a lady that is running and it looks like the humans are chasing her, she wonder why?  So she decided to follow them but she got shock when her body feels like floating into air and when she open her eyes she guess it is already morning because the sun is already shining from the sky.
She saw that there is a body that is lying on the ground not far from her and she is right when she recognize the dress that the lady is wearing,  she knew it that the people failed on chasing her,  the lady tried to stand up but looks like she is injured she was about to come closer but she heard that something fell into the ground and she saw a man that is running closer where the lady is trying to stand
"Young lady are you alright? " the man said while helping the lady to stand but unfortunately Veena can't see their faces because she is facing their back but luckily she can hear their voices
"I'm alright thank you for helping me kind man" the lady said and then she tried to walk on her own but failed when she was about to fell down the man catch her
"I'm going to help you heal just come with me into my house and don't worry I'm not going to harm you" the man said and she saw the lady nodded then she felt like her body float again but this time she didn't question it because she already knows that she is skipping the time
She open her eyes again and she saw that she's in the different place, this time the place she's in have many many flowers and there's a small lake too, the lake is sparkling and the plants are glowing like there's a magic that is happening, she look around the place and saw the lady from earlier that is sitting on the ground while waving her hands in the air smoothly as the wind blew gently and their surrounding glow some more, she will not deny that the lady is not an ordinary human
"What are you doing in this part of the woods young lady?" The man from earlier said when he saw the lady sitting on the ground, the lady got shocked and stopped what she was doing but unfortunately for Veena again because their back is the only one that face her and she only guess whatever they are doing, then suddenly everything went mute and Veena can't hear anything but she saw the man and the lady chased each other while laughing she guess, she saw what others can't and that's love but she guess that neither of that two didn't figure out what they feel then again the time skipped again and she saw that they are running not because of happiness but because of fear she saw it in their eyes and she saw the people running after them with torch, ax, knives, bow and arrow and many more things that can harm anyone, the lady and the man run hand in hand so she guess that they finally know what they feel but unfortunately one of the people release an arrow and it went directly into the man's body and fell into the ground, she saw the lady made a barrier and held the man in her arms.
She saw how the people destroy the barrier and they held her then they tied her into a tree while the lady is crying watching the people burn the body of the man, Veena just watch while the people killed the two people that she didn't notice that tears are flowing into her eyes but when one if the people drop the torch beneath the feet of the lady, the lady looked up and stare at her that makes her shock and she can't come from herself but run towards the burning lady and she tried to save her but a voice makes her come back to the present time
"Veena! Veena wake up! " Scorch almost shouted while slightly slapping Veena in her cheeks
Scorch came back from the present time earlier when he saw that Veena is almost drowning, he didn't know what he felt but all he wants to do is to save her even if he knew that she is the demon of death, he carried Veena under a tree but he didn't see any signs of that mermaid , he keep on blaming himself about this if he didn't got curious nothing will happen to the both of them, after a few seconds Veena cough and started to open her eyes but she got shock when Scorch suddenly hug her tightly
"Veena are you alright? " he asked and let go of the hug that he can't believe that he did but Veena didn't answer him and just lean her head into his chest and because of that Scorch remember what he saw from his dreams or should he say events that happened in the past he guess
When the mermaid blew a bubble into his face he woke up into an unfamiliar place but he felt like he went there before, he walk around until he saw a man chopping woods beside a cabin he is facing the man's back so he can't see his face after a few minutes a lady with a green dress walk where the man is and said something to him, the man pick the woods that be chopped and walk away while the lady in green dress went in inside the cabin, Scorch felt dizzy so he close his eyes but when he opened it he is in a different place but still inside the forest, he saw the man again but this time the man is picking some beautiful flowers and then a lady in dark red dress silently went behind that man's back and hug him Scorch guess then the lady run and the man chased her so Scorch run too to see where are the two people going and they stop in front of a lake that he surely recognize, the lake have a very big tree in the middle and it stand on a big stone even if the lake don't have this in the present time he still recognize this as the mermaid's lake but on this time the lake looks alive while on the present time it looks dead so he wondered why the mermaid still guarding it but he guess the place is magical and a treasure.
The two people sat under the tree while hugging each other and Scorch just watching because he doesn't have a choice anyways but when he look around he saw a silhouette of a human that is hiding behind the vines and he can tell that the human is looking at the two people under the tree when he was about to get close,the human ran inside the forest and he felt dizzy again and the place is different again, he saw the two people running inside the forest with fear and worry base on how they run and held each other he also saw a few people that are chasing them, he felt like he want to help but he knew that he is in the past and it already happens so it means he can't do anything but watch the two people suffer from burning and from afar he saw a lady with a green dress that is running away from the scene but he can't move and then he felt dizzy again and when he tried to open his eyes he saw a blurred figure of a woman that is drowning under the water when his vision got clearer his eyes widened when he realize that Veena is the one who is drowning so he swam fast and saved her.
And that's the reason they are under the tree with Veena on his lap but right now she is still leaning on his chest and when he look at her he saw her asleep
"I guess you are tired" he whispered and removed some hair that is covering her face
"Just rest and I promise that I will protect you from now on"  he said and continue to pet her hair with a smile in his face, he felt happy that he saved Veena from drowning any farther
For him saving someone is the happiest moment of his life since he believe that God is the Creator of both Good and Evil he also believe that He can take the life that he gave to many creatures that are living into the world that He create and they can't avoid it but be knew that God can give them a second chance and both of him and Veena have that. Life is very important to every creature whether it is good or bad they want to live to reach their dreams and to see their future, being here at the third unknown place without getting killed is an achievement for them because it just mean that if they work together they can survive and he can go back to earth while Veena can go back to the lost world to punish the sinners.
"You do care for her" a smooth calm voice said and when Scorch look at the lake he saw the mermaid that is looking at them
"I d-don't" he stuttered and look away that makes the mermaid smile
"Yes you do, I also see that you are afraid that she got hurt" she said
"My name is Vale and you are here in the Lake of Memories" she added that made Scorch look at her and she look deeply into his eyes
Sleep
Vale said inside Scorch head that makes him shut his eyes
"Rest for a while my friends, you have a long journey to Earth and I hope that everything will fall into it's right places, just make sure that you will protect her as you promise Scorch" she said as she take a glance at the two sleeping figure then she dive into the water leaving the two sleeping peacefully while the place turns into it's dead form.
