Elena woke up in the unfamiliar place with many trees and plants, she look around hoping to find someone who can tell where is she.
"Hello, is anybody here? " she shouted but her voice just seems to echo in the whole place, she walk into the forest without knowing where is the path taking her but she didn't care as long as she find a way out and find out how did she get there. She walk and walk until she saw a smoke so she went into the smoke direction and saw a small cabin, there is a little girl who is playing with a rag doll, Elena went closer and ask the little girl.
"Excuse me little girl, uhh did you know the way out of this forest? "  she said but the girl just continued playing like she didn't hear anything so Elena sigh and decided to ask the girl again
"Excuse me----" she started but got cut off when a voice shouted
"Christine!!! " and then a little boy comes running with a man and a woman that she thinks is the parents of the little boy, the boy hugs the girl and they laugh together
"Alston! I'm glad you made it" the girl said and let go of the boy, the man and the woman laugh then another couple went out of the cabin
"Let's go inside, we already prepared some foods" the woman that comes out of the cabin said and the other couple nodded
"Christine, Alston" the little boy's father said and the two children went running inside the cabin
Elena got curious so she peek at the window to look inside and she got shock when her hand went through the window pane but she just shrugged her shoulders and went through the wall that are made of woods to go inside the cabin, she saw that the two families are happily eating and chatting with each other, Elena just turned her back and went outside the cabin and look around the whole place but her eyes caught something beside a tree not far away from the cabin, it is a lady in a dark violet dress and a little girl with a black dress,  when she was about to get closer the two walk away and she notice that the lady in a dark violet dress is looking down like it have a big problem so again she just shrugged her shoulders and think about her situation, suddenly her vision is turning black and she felt like her body hit the ground.

Elena open her eyes and saw that she fell asleep in the couch
"I slept for that long" she said while looking at the wall clock that is hanging into the wall behind the couch, the clock reads 11:27 a.m so she stand up and walk inside the kitchen, she open the refrigerator and took some vegetables she just decided to eat some salad since she's not in the mood to eat rice and meat. While cutting the vegetables she thinks about her dreams, it is not creepy but it is not comfortable either that's why she felt uneasy, she felt like she saw it before but she didn't know where or when and she thinks it is crazy to believe in that dream but because she experience some unbelievable things she actually believe it.
"Ah! " she suddenly said and look into her index finger that is bleeding that she guess it got hit by the knife, she is too preoccupied with her thoughts that she didn't notice that she is already cutting herself, she look into her cut and suddenly her head hurts.

Blood, she saw blood everywhere  there are four bodies that are lying on the ground, two men and two women all of them are bathing with their own blood then not far away from them she saw some creatures just like the other one who had chased her in the playground they are holding some ax with blood dripping onto it

Then her vision started to be clear, she went into the refrigerator and drink some water, her hands we're trembling and her eyes started to water, she start to question it, is it a sign that those creatures will do the same to me?  She ask to herself, her knees gave up and fell into the ground.
"Please don't kill me I don't want to leave my parents yet" she begged at no one with tears streaming down into her face, she cry and cry because that's the only thing she can do right now
After an hour of crying, she just sit in the ground with her knees on her chest and then tiredness suddenly hit her body and she fell asleep

She open her eyes again in a familiar place, she remembered that this is the place she first woke up, she turn around when she heard a giggle and saw the girl and the boy she saw in her earlier dream, they are picking some flowers then the girl went to the boy while holding the basket full of wild flowers
"Alston, someday I want to marry you" the girl said but the boy just giggle and hold the girl's right hand and she even saw the little girl's very red cheeks
"We are still young but someday we will see" the boy said and let go of the girl's hand then he continued to pick some flowers
"Aaaaahhhhh!! " they heard a scream,  scream of a woman she guess, the two children look at each other and run to the direction of the scream so she doesn't have a choice but to follow them
"Mama , Papa! " the girl screamed and kneel beside the two bodies that is lying to the ground then she hug them while the boy just silently cries and hug the other two bodies that she guess are their parents, Elena felt pity to them but she can't do anything, suddenly the girl stand up and run
"Christine! " the boy shouted and follow the girl then she follow them too until they reach the darker side of the forest then she saw it, scary creatures that are entering a burning portal, the two children hid behind a tree and just watch the creatures disappear and when the creatures are gone the girl look at the boy
"That creatures killed our parents, one of them is holding my father's ring necklace! " she said while crying and the boy just hug her but she push him
"We have to kill them Alston, we have too" she said but the boy just sigh
"They are powerful, they are demons we can't and besides revenge is not always the answer just like my mom always saying" the boy said and walk away, the girl look at the place where the portal disappeared and glare at it
"If you're not going to do it,  then I will" she whispered fiercely and follow the boy
Elena got shock because of the dead bodies that she saw and the demos that she also saw, she is scared that what if those things happen to her too?, she shook her head and follow the children but her vision turned black again

She open her eyes and she saw that she is still in the kitchen, she sigh and stood up and decided to eat some noodles she saw in the cabinet
"What are those dreams trying to say? " she whispered to herself as she tried to connect her dreams right now to her dreams in the past few months but nothing connects
"Maybe I need to dream again? " she said and sigh then she just clean the mess in the kitchen. Elena stop wiping the table and whispers to herself
"Alston and Christine, who are you and why do the two of you appeared in my dreams? " she whispered and sigh, she went to her room and change into her school uniform, she just decided to go to school because her class starts at 2 o'clock p.m and ends at 9 o'clock p.m every Friday, she went outside and hail a taxi but because the main road is close due to an accident have happened earlier the taxi driver told her that they will take the other road that leads to her school in which she agreed, while looking outside she saw many trees that looks like they are passing a forest but something is familiar for her
"Wait! " she suddenly said which makes the taxi stop
"What's wrong young lady? " the old taxi driver said and look at her
"Is this forest a private property? " she ask when she saw the do not enter sign and the fences made of barbed wires
"Oh that forest, it is not a private property but the town's government close it" the old man said while looking at the forest
"Why would they close it? " she ask again because curiosity is eating her again
"They said that five hundred years ago, creatures that rose up to the ground appeared here and bring bad luck to our town" the old man said again that makes Elena think harder
"Just because of that​ they are going to close it? " she ask again that made the old man laugh
"No young lady that's not the only reason" the old man said and look at her
"The elders real reason is because of the cases of people went missing and their last destination is this forest, for example ten years ago twenty men that are supposed to cut some trees here went missing without any traces" the old man said and she just listen
"This forest is a mystery for them and because of this beautiful site many people got attracted and went inside but in the end, they didn't return to their families" the old man said while shaking his head at the end of his sentence
"Oh, thank you for telling me the story mister but I think this is my stop" she said and give the money then went out of the taxi to look for any possible way to went in
" I hope you find the answer you are looking for young lady" the old man whispered and drive his taxi away from the mystical forest of their town
Looking around the place and Elena feel like she is going to rob the place, she slightly laugh at her thoughts but a shadow caught her attention
"Is anybody there? " she ask but the shadow looks like it run and went straight to the right side of the forest so she run and follow it, when she's finally there she saw the shadow went inside the fence, she went closer and saw that the barbed wire in that side of l forest are already damage because she saw a tree that fell down into the fences and that is the opening for her, she climb into the tree, walk a little then she jump into the ground, she walk further into the forest and she is amaze by the beautiful green grass and some wild flowers, now she knew what the old taxi driver is saying this is the beautiful site he said but she is disappointed that no one is entering this forest because of the town's elder peoples scary stories which she didn't know if it's true.
"I hope that the taxi driver story is not true, I don't want my face to be post in the wall of missing persons" she whispered to herself and walk further into the forest without knowing that there is someone who is following right behind her.
Elena knows where is she standing now, this is the part of the forest where she woke up in her dreams, warm breeze brushed into her skin that makes her eyes close

"Round and round here we go, the ones who let go are the ones who lose" the two children sang that she knew as Alston and Christine, they are holding each others hand while spinning around, they are laughing until the both of them fell into the ground they are both happy but they are not the ones who caught Elena's attention, she saw a little girl hiding behind a tree but still peeking her head to watch not far away from them, the little girl just look at Alston and Christine so Elena went closer where the little girl stand and when she is finally close, a black smoke appeared beside the little girl which makes Elena's eyes widen but her eye brows furrowed when the smoke turns to be a lady, the lady hold the little girl's shoulder then the girl look at the lady
"Mom when can I have a friend like that? " the little girl ask to the lady, the lady kneel in front of the girl and held the girl's face with her both hands
"Someday sweetheart you will have friends" the lady said and stand up
"Let's go home"  the lady said then held the girl's small hand and they disappeared into the thin air
Elena can't believe of what she saw and look at the two children who is playing but her head suddenly hurt so she close her eyes because she can't take the pain anymore but when the pain is gone, she open her eyes and saw that she is in the same place
"Alston! " a young lady have shouted and wave into the young man so she guess that she skipped a few years and now they have grown
"Christine go home, I still need to cut some woods in the east side of the forest" Alston said but Christine shook her head and cling into his arms
"I will help you" Christine cheerfully said but Alston remove her hands and shook his head
"No, go home and wait for me besides it's getting late it's not safe for you to be outside" she just nodded and walk into their cabin's direction while Alston just look at her, when she was out of his sight Alston walk to the east side of the forest, Elena choose to followed Alston and when she saw that Alston is already cutting some woods that he saw, she decided to look closely into his face and her instincts are right he is familiar, then an image of Scorch came into her mind, she can't believe that Alston and Scorch look the same
"Maybe it's just a coincidence" she said and run deeper into the woods but when she can no longer see Alston she stop until she heard a whisper
"Help" a lady said and her dress are slightly torn, she is also looks like she is going to faint soon because she looks so pale
"Please help me" then the lady fell in the ground, Elena heard that something fell behind her so she look at it
"Young lady are you alright? " Alston said while helping the lady to stand
"I'm alright thank you for helping me kind man" the lady said and then she tried to walk on her own but failed when she was about to fell down but Alston catch her
"I'm going to help you heal just come with me into my house and don't worry I'm not going to harm you" Alston said and she saw the lady nodded then he helped her walk with his hands on her waist for support

Elena open her eyes and walk towards the familiar path, she walk and walk but the cabin is not there anymore until her head hurts and she close her eyes

She heard that someone is yelling inside the cabin so she went inside and saw that Christine is in front of Alston while the lady looks like she is hiding behind him
"I just don't understand you Alston, last year you brought her here because you said that she is hurt and she needs a place to stay in" Christine said while pointing her fingers at him but Alston only look down
"And now you are going to tell me that you are going to leave with her and marry her without being in a relationship, did she put some love potion into your foods? " she added and she was about to harm the lady but Alston stop her
"Christine stop this, I just don't want to remember the things that happened in our parents and besides the people that wants to harm Crystal are living nearby, so I just don't want anybody to hurt her" Alston said while holding the lady's or Crystal's hand from behind, Christine put her hands on her waist and look at the two people in front of her
"We promised to our parents that no matter what happen we are going to stay together" she calmly said but it is visible that she is holding her anger
"I know that but the situation is different right now and-----" Christine cut Alston words
"You can't just go like that, if she wants to leave, then she leave but you are staying just like what you oath to our parents" Christine said and slightly raise her voice
"She can't leave alone, she needs me-----" Alston said buy got cut again by Christine
"How about those creatures that killed our parents?  What if they come back and kill me? " Christine said and her tears are threatening to fall
"You see, I need you too Alston and------" this time Christine got cut by Alston
"My child needs me more Christine" Alston said that makes Christine froze into her spot and she looks at him with her eyes widen
"What? " she almost whispered and look at Crystal who is still hiding behind Alston
"Crystal is pregnant and I am the father, I don't want anything to happen to the two of them, if you want you can go with us and let's leave this place together" Alston said but Christine's tears are already flowing as she shook her head and run out to the door, Alston sigh and hug Crystal tightly like she is going to leave soon
"I'm sorry if I am the reason that she is mad at you" Crystal softly said but Alston just smile and held her face
"No, she is just being unreasonable" he said and he let her sit in the chair
"I'm sorry if we need to leave this place because the people in the village knows that I am a half demon" Crystal said while looking down and Alston just hug her while patting her back
"Don't say that, the important thing is we need to leave this forest before they found out that you are here" he said but little do they know that Christine didn't really leave because she is just outside the cabin and listening into their conversation
"A demon?  You are going to pay for our parents death and Alston I can't believe that you choose to love that demon instead of me" she said and turn her back then run. Elena can't believe that Crystal is a half demon and she is pregnant with Alston's child but she is curious of what is Christine planning to do, now that she knew that Christine is mad at the demons and at the same time jealous because of Alston and Crystal, Elena's head suddenly hurts and her visions started to dark

She open her eyes and walk deeper into the forest but because she is too preoccupied with the memories she have saw she didn't notice that someone is following her. Not too far from the cabin she notice a lake that is shining like a diamond because of the sun and some wild flowers are can be seen anywhere, it is a very breath taking site for her to see, Elena smile and feel the warm breeze that is touching her skin for her this is the most relaxing site of the forest but not until she heard that something break that makes her look behind her but there's nothing, all she can see are trees and wild plants.
"Anybody there? " she slightly shout but after a few minutes she saw no one, when she was about to pick a flower she heard that something break again so she went to the place that she thinks that the sound came from but again she found no one,  she just decided to go back to the lake but when she turn her back something surprised her that she almost yell
"What a pretty young lady" the creature said, the creature looks like a woman with tree vines all over her body, her eyes are pure black too, her nails are long and because it is shining so she guess it is sharp, her teeth are long and the color looks like it is made of metal same with it's nails that makes Elena step backward and tremble because of fear but the creature is not alone because another one jump out of nowhere
"What's the pretty young lady doing here? " the other one said and step towards her but when she step backwards again,  her back hit the tree means there's no way out
"I- I'm just f-finding​ s-some a-answers" she stutter because of fear and she also choke at the end of her sentence and her tears are threatening to fall
"Answers to what pretty young lady? " the first creature said and stick out it's long thin black tongue, Elena is so nervous that she can't think of any answers so she just said the first thing that came into her mind
"A-answers for t-the name C-Christine" she said that makes the two creatures hiss at her
"We could spare your life" the first one said while stepping towards her
"But you said the wrong name" the other one said and jump into her but luckily Elena run to the other side but the two creatures are still chasing her
"You gave us the permission to kill you when you said her name! " she heard one of the creatures said and that makes Elena's tears to fall while running
"You are going to regret that you went into this forest! " she them said again, she run and run but when she recognize the path she is running, it is near the damage fence
"Please let me live" she whispered but one of the creatures jump in front of her that prevents her from going any farther
"You will die in our hands pretty young lady" the creature in front of her said and her tears just flow continuously
"Or should I say Christine" the creature behind her said that makes her wonder why did the creature called her Christine
The creature in front of her jump again to attack her and she can't do anything but close her eyes and wait for the pain but nothing came so she open her eyes and saw the man that save her from the carabao head creature, the man is holding the vine creature's both hands and he kick it in the stomach which cause the creature to fly and hit the tree then the creature behind Elena hiss and attack the both of them but the man put her behind him then fight the creature. The creature was about to punch the man in the face but he dodge it and hit the creature's nape that makes the creature shout in pain and Elena notice that the nape of the creature is burning
"Aaaahhhh!!! " the vine creature shouted and then it's whole body started to burn and it turned into ashes
"Nooo!! " the other vine creature shouted then it turned it's head to the both of them that makes Elena hold the man's arms
"You killed my sister so I will kill the two of you! " the vine creature shouted and attack them with vines that are connected with it's body but the man only touch it and it Burns then the fire run until it reach the body of the vine creature and burns just like the first creature it turned into ashes too, the man was about to leave but Elena held his hand
"What's your name? " Elena ask
"You don't need to know" the man said and was about to walk again but she stop him again
"I need to know because you save me all the time" she said and the man turn to her, that's the time that she remember that he is the same man that caught her attention in the playground
"Fine, my name is Voltaire" the man said and walk away then but when she run and followed him, he is nowhere to be seen like he never exist before.
