The birds are chirping happily while flying to one tree to another that's the only noise in the forest, the squirrels are happily playing too while there are rabbits that are hopping around, Elena thought that there are no animals in this forest but she guess she was wrong because after Voltaire killed the two vines creature the animals suddenly appeared but that's not the thing that is bothering her, she keep on glancing at Voltaire while they are sitting in a big rock near the lake.
"Stop glancing at me will you? " Voltaire said and Elena just mumbled a sorry, she thought that Voltaire is very familiar, yes she saw him before but that's not it she thinks that she already met Voltaire before she saw him in the playground
"Tsk I'm going to leave" Voltaire said and then he stand up but Elena stop him by grabbing his wrist
"You're going to leave me again? " Elena said, Voltaire left her after he said his name but Elena is shock when  she saw him sitting on the rock when she decided to go back to the lake so she knew that he didn't leave at all
"Don't talk like your life depends on me, I'm not your guardian I just felt pity on you" Voltaire said and left her with a wide eyes
Those words pierce Elena's heart she knows that it is true but she treats Voltaire as her second guardian even if he still didn't introduce herself, if she didn't depend her life into him she will be dead since she's on the playground. Scorch is gone and she didn't know why but she knows that he will come back and protect her again in that case she didn't need any help from Voltaire anymore so he doesn't need to say any hurtful words anymore. Elena didn't notice that there are tears that are flowing into her eyes, she laugh bitterly and said
"You are stupid Elena, don't hope that he protect you because he cares for you, he just pity you, why am I saying this anyway? " she said and she actually didn't know why she said that but she already did
She stand up and decided to go back into her house while she is walking her mind is drifting that she didn't notice that Voltaire is following her quietly, she successfully went home without any creatures that are trying to kill her or just her thought because she didn't know that something big is coming for her.
Elena took a bath and change her clothes into comfortable one, she didn't eat her dinner and she just lay in her bed then slowly drifted to sleep,   Voltaire suddenly appeared beside her bed, he went closer and look into her face
"If we only met in a different situation, I could fall in love with you but sadly...... You need to be gone" he whispered and he took out a silver knife with a black handle into his pocket
"This is for aunt Raven and Crystal" he whispered and aim the knife into her chest but he stop when memories are coming back into his mind like a refreshing wind but for him it is not refreshing, for him it is not a wonderful memory because for him it is a nightmare

The sun is already setting and a little boy is still playing in the forest alone until a girl that have a basket into her hands saw him so she decided to approach him
"Why are you playing here alone? " she ask and the little boy look at him
"I'm not playing alone, I'm with my friend but she already went home because aunt called her" the little boy explained while slightly looking up at the girl, the girl giggled because of the little boy's silliness and sat beside him
"My name is Christine and I'm five years old, what's yours?" the girl said and smile at the little boy
"My name is Aire and I'm three years old" the boy said and smile at Christine too
"Let's play tag?" Christine ask and Aire nodded his head then they chased each other in the forest until Christine's mother fetch her and Aire walk home, after that day after day at the same time Christine will go to that side of the forest to play with Aire and Aire will just wait for her, they are happy to be friends but after a few months Christine didn't go and play with him that makes him sad so he just lock himself inside their cabin and decided to play alone inside.
Christine was his second friend and the first person who didn't push him away because when he and his mother went to the village he will ask some other kids to play with him but they are just pushing him away and Raven's daughter, Crystal are always protecting him.
When he turned nineteen, Crystal went to the village to buy some breads but when she went back the people are chasing them and she choose to let him go, when he came back the cabin is already an ash so he went around the forest to find her because he believe that she is not dead and he is not wrong because he saw Crystal in a cabin with a young lady and a young man, that's the time that he recognize Christine's aura into the young lady so he knew that it was her, after a few months of watching he knew that Christine is jealous to Crystal because he saw that Alston like Crystal not her, he also saw the things she did when she went to the village but the most painful part for Voltaire was when Christine just watch when Crystal and Alston are burning he saw that she just walk away yet Voltaire can't save them because his fear eat him so be choose what he thinks was right.
Within a week Voltaire continued to follow Christine and he saw how she regret every single thing she did but Voltaire wants her to suffer, while Christine is washing the dishes she turn around and got shock when she saw Voltaire standing near her
"W-who are y-you? " she stuttered while she said that and that only makes him smirk knowing that she is already scared even though he is just standing there
"I am the one who will kill you" he said in a very dark voice and step towards her that makes her tremble and step backwards
"Please don't kill me" she said while crying but Voltaire didn't care, his anger was eating him, he can't feel any empathy towards her, he didn't saw her as the kind Christine he have met before because he saw her as a murderer that killed Crystal and Alston
"They begged too but the people act like they didn't hear them" he said  still stepping towards her, Christine step back again but she just hit the wooden wall
"I didn't know what you are saying" she said but Voltaire just laugh bitterly
"You didn't know, hah you are the reason why they died, she didn't do anything to harm you yet you decided to tell the hunters where is she then they killed them, you are the one to blame" he said angrily, he raised his hand and a black smoke appeared with a silver knife, he wants her to feel the pain, the day that Crystal plead him to go back into the underworld is the day that Diamond show him where his mother's body lay and yes his mother died a week before but the other demons can't tell him because that is his mother request, when he saw how Crystal died he was crying, he felt hopeless, he is lonely.
"Alston and.... Crystal" she whispered and look at him, she saw his eyes burned in anger, Voltaire felt her being regretful but he became heartless because of the painful things she have cause
"You don't have the right to say her name! " he shouted at her then with a blink he was already in front of her and point the knife into her chest
"I will make you feel the pain and I am the one who will burn you" he whispered into her ears and she sobbed harder
"See you in hell...... Christine" he whispered again then he slowly pushed the knife into her chest that makes her tears flow but deep inside Voltaire saw that she truly regret everything, Christine's body slide down into the floor and he took the knife into her chest, he look at her lifeless body then he look at the side, he saw it he saw her spirit but he just ignore it and he disappeared leaving the body and the spirit behind.

Voltaire put all of his strength into the knife and when he was about to stab her chest Elena speak
"Aire...... I'm sorry.. I'm sorry.... Crystal... Alston... I'm sorry" she whispered into her dreams and her tears flowed continuously, Voltaire's hand stop midway and he put it down then the knife suddenly disappeared
"I became heartless...... But why do I feel like I need to guard you while he is not here" he whispered and his tears fell into his eyes too, Voltaire felt like he is the weakest demon at all, he can't kill her again the second time around because he knew that the history can change, Talia his mother didn't taught him to be a heartless demon but instead she taught him to be a human so he knew that he is doing the wrong thing.
Forgiveness is very hard to give to someone who sinned to you and in Voltaire's case he can't forgive Elena that easily because of the things that she did in her past life but he knew that she is the reincarnation of Christine and maybe it's a sign that she can have a second chance, a chance that he wants to tell Diamond the demon member of the council but he knew that she would just kill her.
"You are lucky that I decided not to kill you, but if you do the same thing again or worst, I will kill you" he whispered again and he disappeared, after he disappeared Elena open her eyes and she sat on her bed
"I'm sorry Crystal I did it, if Christine did it" she whispered then tears fell into her eyes again, she thinks that Christine is a fool for telling the hunters where Crystal live because of jealousy she did those things and Elena swear into her mind that she will never do the same, she remember her dream as more tears flow into her eyes.

Elena saw a fire that is burning the trees she felt scared until she saw a figure move from the tree
"Elena, Elena please help us" it whispered and she recognize the voice, if she is not wrong it is Crystal but she can't see her face because her whole body burned and she looks like a burning charcoal then she saw another figure that rose up from the ground
"Elena, Elena why did you do this? " it whispered and she immediately recognize the voice and it is Alston, his whole body is the same with Crystal then she saw them offer their hands to her but suddenly she heard a voice behind her
"You did the right thing Elena" she recognize it as Christine then she felt a presence beside her, she saw that Christine is looking at Crystal and Alston with a smile on her face
"You should do it again" Christine said while looking at her
"I didn't kill them" she said but Christine only laughs
"Yes you did, you are the one who killed them, you are the reason why they look like that, it was all your fault" Christine said while walking towards her and she is stepping backwards
"No! It was you who killed them not me! " Elena shouted but Christine look at her fiercely
"It was you! That's why Aire is going to kill you just like what he did to me, you are the reason why he suffer why they suffer! " Christine said
"No! " Elena said and pick up the stone she saw and hit Christine in her head she fell into the ground and lose her conscious, Elena look at the two figures while they are slowly turning into ashes
"Aire...... I'm sorry.. I'm sorry.... Crystal... Alston... I'm sorry" she said while crying then the two figures disappeared and she woke up from her dream

Elena sigh and look into her window, she only knew one thing that is she didn't killed Crystal and Alston because Christine is the one who did it and she will not let it happen again now that she figured out who is Alston, she will make sure that she will not do Christine's mistake and she will try to fix the mess that Christine made.
"He suffered because Crystal died I'm sure of it but........ Who is Aire? " she ask herself without knowing that she already met the Aire she is saying

Scorch open his eyes when he heard some honking sounds, people that are chattering, children laughing and some animals that are making some noises, he sat up and look around him
"I'm back to earth" he whispered while looking at him then a kid in a bicycle went through him
"I'm back to earth!! " he shouted and laugh
"I already know that you don't have to shout" someone said behind him, he turn around and saw Veena so he run towards her and hug her that makes Veena's eyes widen
"We made it, we are back to earth" he said while hugging her, Veena got recovered from shock then she push him and rolled her eyes
"Yeah, so you should go to Elena and protect her" Veena said with a very obvious tone
"Oh yeah I should but I will stay here for a few minutes, I still can't process everything in my head" Scorch said and sit in a bench beside a big tree and she just sit beside him
Veena have been thinking his for awhile that what if they successfully go back to earth what is going to happen to them? But she guess they have to forget about each other, she have to forget about him even if she knew that Alston and Scorch are the same person. When Scorch kissed her, her feelings for him got deeper and deeper but she guess she need to wake up into the reality that she is already a pure demon and he is already an angel so there no way that the two of them can be together, she is hoping that Scorch felt the same for her but she knee that it will never happen.
"Veena what's wrong? " she went back into reality when Scorch suddenly ask her so she look at him
"Nothing maybe I'm just tired" she said and look away but Scorch just look at her like she is a piece of gold that he needs to treasure
At first Scorch felt scared to Veena but when their journey starts he started to feel comfortable to her until he found out that they have know each other hundred years ago, he thought that he only felt it as a friend or because he knew that she is Crystal but no there is something more hidden inside him that is coming out little by little, at first it is only adoration but it turns out to be something more, he wants to say it out loud but he is afraid so he decided to keep it inside, he thinks about Elena and the past her did or what Christine did, about him, about Veena and about their unborn child but he knew that she will not repeat the things that Christine did and he will hold into that.
"You better go, I'm sure that Elena misses you, you are almost gone for a month" Veena said while looking at the street even if Scorch doesn't want to go, he needs to, so he nodded and disappeared leaving a white piece of a feather, Veena looks at the place where Scorch have seat and smiled bitterly
"I hope we see each other again..... Alston" then she disappeared too and left a black piece of feather beside the white one

Elena was preparing her late lunch when she felt a warm breeze that touch her skin, she thought it was nothing but she froze into her spot when she heard a very familiar voice, a voice that she misses
"Why are you eating late?" Elena turn around and saw Scorch looking at her while smiling
"You're here" Elena whispered and run towards him to hug him
"How are you?" He said but he didn't heard any replies instead he heard her sobbing and he felt that his shoulder is a bit wet too, he knew that she is crying and that makes her chuckle
"Why did you disappeared all of a sudden?I was afraid" Elena said and then she sobbed
"It is a very long story but the important thing is I'm back to protect you from those creatures" Scorch said and let go of the hug then he let her sit  it the chair in front of the foods that she have prepared
"You should eat now and I think you have some stories to tell too" Scorch said then he sit beside her while she just nod her head and then started to eat
Voltaire just sat in the tree while looking at Scorch and Elena in the kitchen, he felt angry because Scorch is there and he can't do the things he planned to scare her but at the same time he felt relieve because there is someone who is going to protect her
"Elena you are the one who is going to to choose, if you are going to be a fiend or you are going to stay as a friend" he said and he look at them for the last time
"I hope you choose the right one" he whispered and disappeared again
Scorch look into the window with his furrowed brow
"A demon" he whispered that makes Elena look at him
"What? " she ask but he just shook his head and hope that no creatures will attack them because he is still weak, he just hope for a better day to come but it is impossible because of the situation they are in.
