Part 1
 As usual, Mikuo was sitting on a bench under the shade of a tree in a park located somewhere inside the City of Knives.
 What a good day; the weather was good, and the city was filled with life as usual.
 Everything seemed fine.
 Yeah, that's right. Everything was normal, except for one thing:
 There was a beautiful girl sitting beside him while slowly eating some ice cream.
 She possessed the beauty that can make anyone along the road to take a glance several times; her lavender-colour pair of eyes and silky hair that extends down to her back, skin that will remind you of the snow in winter, and voice that can simply be mistaken for a lullaby. All of it complemented each other to form one undeniable beauty.
 Yes, this girl was the one he saved this morning from those who were pursuing her and suddenly asked for his assistance afterwards. She is Yume.
 Looking at her reminded him of their very unusual meeting, yes, it was very unusual indeed. He touched his forehead to reminisce that feeling.
 In his 16 years of existence, since he hated too much interaction with others, it was his first intimate encounter with the opposite sex.
"Hey Mikuo…."
 That reminds him of how few were his friends back in the old world.(Sigh)
"Hey. Hey. Mikuo."
 His whole life revolved around anime and games so he does not have time for socialization or what so ever. He also hated involving himself with others. He preferred his life that way.
 He was still in deep thoughts when suddenly, he felt that someone was poking his cheek.
"Hey. Mikuo.Mikuo.Mikuo. Don't ignore me. Hmp" (poke poke poke) she pouted her lips and puffed her cheeks to show her annoyance and then looked away.
 He was shocked by that, but not because he was surprised or something, but because of the chills going down his spinal cord every time she poked his cheek. He also found that expression of her to be very cute and adorable.
"Ahaha… Sorry, sorry. Ahm… what is it? Is there a problem?"
"Ahm….. Nothing, I just...don't want to be ignored. That's all." she said that without even looking at him. Her voice was pretty low; maybe she was really sad about it.
 Seeing her sad like that, he was assaulted by a terrible amount of guilt. Seeing that face painted with sadness was somehow breaking his heart.
"Sorry Yume. So, where do you want me to take you? I'm your tour guide for the day so I'll take you everywhere you want to go." he felt obliged to put a smile on her face and make her happy.
"Really? Everywhere?" she asked that in a cheerful tone.
"Yeah, everywhere. So just tell me and I'll take you there. I promise." he said that with a genuine smile on his face. He said that no longer because he was obliged to do it but because he really wanted to do it. He already forgot the annoyance he felt when he first accepted her request.
"Well then, please let's walk around the city. I want to visit the whole city.(^^)"
"Well then, let's go." he extended his hand to her as if he was a prince asking for the hand of his princess.
"Thank you." she accepted that offer with a bright smile on her face and together, they walked around the city.
 Together, they visited different places in the city:
 First, they went to the city plaza.
 They went to the nearby shopping district; it was filled with a sea of crowd. People were everywhere; walking, chatting, buying, selling, eating, laughing, interacting with each other. The place was filled with life.
Shops can also be seen everywhere where items of all kinds can be seen; from weapons to food items to accessories like rings and earrings.
 There was noise and people everywhere but when he looked at her, she doesn't seem to mind it. In fact, her eyes were full of utmost curiosity while looking at all the people and stores. It looked like she really wanted to go and have a look for herself.
"Hmmm..Yume?"
"Ahm . . .Hmmmm….?" she answered without even looking at him.
"If you want, we can go and check those stores."
 She averted her sight to him before she voiced out her answer.
"Really? Really?!! You'll take me there?" she was hoping with joy like a child given permission to go to the amusement park. She looked very cute.
"Yup. That's why we're here in the first place right? I promised you I'll take you anywhere." He patted her head and stroked her hair as if she was a child.
 She just smiled cheerfully as a response and they walked towards the shops. She was humming a song while they are walking as a proof that she's really happy about it.
 When they reached the shops, Yume immediately started checking out all the items in sale.
 He could not help smiling because of what he was seeing. It was just window shopping but it seemed that she was really enjoying it. It was evident from the cheerful smiles on her face.
 He was just following her as she visited from store to store until she stopped.
"Huh? What's the problem?"
 She did not answer his query; her sight was nailed to something that was being displayed in the display window of the store. Her eyes were sparkling with amusement.
 He was wondering what took her attention so he followed the direction of her gaze.
"Areh?"
 When he did that, he saw a sky-blue umbrella with patterns of white 4-leaf clover printed on it. It looked like she really wanted to have one of those.
"Hmmm... I guess it won't hurt."
