"Ughh. . . It hurts." Mikuo was using an ice bag to massage his swelling cheeks.
 Yes, because some minutes ago, a certain girl accused him of being a maniac and gave him a barrage of different utensils from the tray she was carrying (basically, even everything she got her hands on including the things on the nearby table in the room).
 He received several bruises from the assault because he tried to cover Yume who was sleeping beside him. But she suddenly woke up, only to find herself being embraced by him (obviously it's just to protect her); she then raised a loud shout (PERVERT!) and gave him a strong right, straight into his face.
 And once again, he lost his consciousness, and when he woke up, he found himself lying on a sofa inside a different room with an ice bag lying on his cheeks.
 He surveyed his surroundings and it seemed he was alone. It was a different room from the one in his memories before he lost his consciousness for the second time.
"Where am I?"
 He was still busy surveying the room when someone knocked on the door and opened it.
 From it, emerged a small girl with blue shoulder-length hair and eyes similar to the colour of the sea. She has white skin and a petite body, it seems like she was in the same age group as Rikka. She possessed an innocent face that made her cute and was also wearing a dress dominated by light blue that complimented with her characteristics. Anyone who will come across this girl in the streets will definitely take a second glance. Yes, it was the so-called "Loli".
"Ahmmm. . . .Ahno. . . . W-w-w-will you come with me Yuoh-san?" she said that while looking down. Even her personality fits in the Loli category.
"Wait— How did you—" (wait, that voice, I think I heard that before).
 The girl tilted her hear because he was doing nothing but stare to the girl.
 Maybe she noticed that, her face suddenly blushed and she hid behind the door.
(Hmmmm…. Where did I hear that voice again?)
 He was still immersed in deep thoughts when the girl spoke.
"Ahmm. Ahhm, is there any problem?" she was peeking from behind the door.
"Ah . . .Oh . . . Nothing." he surveyed his surroundings once again before voicing out his question. "By the way, where am I? And the girl with me, the one with the lavender-coloured hair, where is she?"
"Ahm . . . P-p-p-please follow me." instead of answering his question, she just walked outside; he can hear her steps walking farther.
 Despite his confusions, he went out of the room and followed the lead of the girl.
 They walked a long hallway painted in white. It reminded him of the interior of those Western Style mansions he saw on the tv.
 There were doors along the way but he didn't see anyone. There were no windows so the only source of light was the lamp shades installed on the walls.
 They walked for a couple of minutes until they reach the end of the hallway; it was a wide double door.
 The girl glanced at him before slowly opening the door.
 The light that entered from the door was blinding that he covered his eyes in reflex.
 Slowly, his eyes got used to the light so he entered following the girl.
 But what he saw inside the room caused his eyes to widen.
 That's because—
 It was a room with a long table on the middle and there were also several windows, it looked like some kind of conference room or something.
 But that's not the reason why he was shocked; it was because of the people inside the room.
 Yume was there, smiling at him wearing a frilly dress dominated by blue.
 At first, he thought she was standing beside a mirror and the girl beside her was her reflection, but that's not it.
 He recognized her; she was the one who effortlessly knocked him out.
 A girl with the same facial characteristics with Yume, though hers have more confidence and energy being reflected on it. She also has the same hairclip as Yume, but hers was black. And when you looked a little bit lower, you can see the merciless gap between their chests.
 There were also three other people in that room, they all looked like they belong to the same age group as him
 A tall and slender girl (but he's still taller) with long black hair and blue eyes. She was wearing eyeglasses and some dress dominated by blue. She gave off that "snobbish smart valedictorian" aura. She wore a serious expression while looking at him.
 The second one was also a girl with red short hair and fiery red pair of eyes. She was a little bit smaller than the first one but her proportions were not inferior to her. She was also wearing the same dress as the first girl but she gave off the "tomboy sporty girl" feeling.
 The third one was a boy, almost as tall as him. He has red hair and a sharp pair of eyes that can scare anyone who dares to look straight at it and his body build was a little better than him. He gave off that "happy go lucky goof off" feeling.
"Leu?" he unintentionally uttered that in a dumfounded manner towards the third person.
 Yes, because the third person was no other than—
...his idiot best friend from the other world, Leunamme Blanc.
 Maybe he noticed it too; Leu's eyes widened and uttered his name in response "Knight?"(Not exactly his name but the nickname Leu gave him)
 The eyes of the other people inside the room widened because of that unexpected scene.
"What? You know this guy?" the girl with the identical characteristics with Yume tilted her head.
"Yes, he's a classmate and close friend of mine."
"Close will be the last word I can think of." Mikuo said that with a sarcastic tone.
"Oioioi, Knight, don't be harsh, it's been a while since I last saw you. Glad you are alive. But before that..."
 He was confused by what Leu was going to do but he suddenly charged towards him and pinned him down using his arms.
"We've been worried all the time about our precious frail princess only to find out that she's in a date with you bastard! You've been all lovey-dovey with her while we were busy looking all over the town. Grrrrrr.!" he was viciously strangling him.
"Hey hey hey. Aghhhhh. What's this all about?" he kicked Leu lightly to push him away.
"Leunamme! Stop that, now!" the girl in the middle of the room (the one identical to Yume) said that with authority.
"But-but-but- he—"
"Leunamme?" she was smiling beautifully but the atmosphere around her was contrasting that beautiful smile. That atmosphere can send chills down to your spine once you feel it.
"Eh? U-u-u-understood, Yuri-sama." he slightly panicked before he bowed and returned to his original place.
 He then averted his sight to the girl named Yuri, wait, he can recall that Yume called her that too before he lost his consciousness back then.
"I'm very confused right now, so do you mind explaining things to me?" he asked that while being alert, after all, she was the one who defeated him effortlessly within a blink of an eye.
"I'm sorry about the rudeness of mine and my members. I am—"
"Please cut the formalities." and as if to cut her sentence, Mikuo said that with a vacant expression.
"Ah . . . Good. I'm Izumi Yuri, Yume's older twin sister. And the current guild master of the Arctic Knights. But most call me the Snow Princess and I'm the Azure King." she said that before lowering her head and giving him a gentle smile in contrast of her intimidating atmosphere.
 His eyes (once again) widened because of that unexpected introduction and he took a step back in reflex.
 That's because—
 he was talking with one of the Kings of the New World, the Snow Princess who was considered one of the strongest in the south.
