Part 2
 Meanwhile, somewhere inside the City of Knives, in the currently chaotic hideout of those so-called "goons" who were after Yume—
"Where are those three?!" people were panicking.
 Running, shouting, truly a chaotic scene, everything was a mess.
"You there, go out there, help find her!"
"Waaahhh!"
"Where is she?!!"
"We're as good as dead if boss finds out about this."
 Everyone was still panicking when suddenly—
"*Eeeeennnnkkkkk*" a creak echoed out across the whole hall.
 The havoc inside the hall suddenly faded and everyone's attention was directed towards the source of the noise, towards the big entrance.
 Upon seeing the person who opened the door, everyone's faces started to pale, some even began trembling and some even lost consciousness because of the overwhelming pressure.
 Someone was standing there, and a very "unpleasant" aura was oozing out of that person.
 The silence remained for some moment when—
"Waaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!" everyone's screams piled up and echoed across the whole establishment.
Part 3
He was totally frozen and the three started walking towards Yume when the ice started glowing and shaking.
"Manifest: Crimson Edge"
 Sensing the impending danger waiting for them, the girls immediately fled back.
"Huh?" both of them let out such dumbfounded voices because of what they saw in front of them.
 Crimson red flames started to engulf Mikuo's body and the ice that covered his body started to melt. No, it did not melt. The flames were so hot the ice immediately turned into steam.
 They can feel the heat of the flames despite their distance from him but it was not burning him. It was more like hugging him and supporting his body.
 His eyes and hair that were originally brown were dyed bright red by the flames.
 And when he stretched out his right hand as if trying to grip something, the flames surrounding his body started to gather on his palm forming something that resembled a sword.
 The flames in the form of a sword started to materialize, forming something that resembles a wooden sword, but it was bigger than an average sword.
 When the body of the sword was finally done materializing, he lifted it and pointed it towards the girls.
"Hey! Honestly, I really don't want to use this, that's why I even bought a sword. Especially coz you're girls, I really tried to refrain from hurting you three. But look at what you've done to my clothes, you even wounded me. So now—"
 This time, the flames around him raged even more.
"I'll end this." he said that with a fearless smile on his face.
 Everyone around him was shocked because of his sudden transformation including Yume who was hiding in the back. They all thought that he was just a Warrior.
 The three stood still on their ground as if they were frozen because of shock, but Anchor (I gave them names for the sake of identification) once again raised her weapon and started to rush towards him.
"Don't get cocky coz you have some powers, you're still outnum—" Anchor was just about to rush forward when Rapier stopped her by blocking her way.
"Hey!! What's your problem?!"
"Wait! I think I know him."
"Huh? What?!" her eyes widened.
"Yes, I think I heard about him before when we were looking for requests."
"Huh?" Anchor's head tilted in wonder.
"Crimson red pair of eyes and hair, a wooden sword carved with flames, and a flame element user, that must be him. I heard that he was one of the few who have a 100% success rate when it comes to mass extermination quest." she said that in a low tone inaudible to Mikuo.
"What?!" "Wh-wh-what?" the voice of the two other girls piled up beautifully.
"And that's not all, he did all that alone, he's not affiliated with any guilds or groups, he's wandering from town to town finishing every request he took. And you're both familiar with the Mage over-all ranking right?"
 Both of them answered with a nod.
"Although it's not official coz he never took any magic aptitude or performance test, but those who witnessed his power considered him to be somewhere between Rank S to Rank S- throughout the whole continent."
"What?!!" "Wh-wh-what?" and once again, the voices of the two girls piled up beautifully
 And Yume who was hiding moments ago were already peeking towards Mikuo who was just standing there without any reaction. She was curious on what were those three murmuring over there about.
"And since he never stayed in any place for too long, he never had a formal title, so he was called by many names, like the "Red Swordsman", "Burning Blade" and many more."
"But that's impossible! Even the three of us, each has barely entered Rank A+. There's no way someone like him can reach Rank S! There's no way he's stronger than us!" Anchor was kicking the ground while shouting because of the unbelievable statement that was being delivered to her right now.
"Ehem." they were still talking silently when the shoulders of the three made a grand twitch because someone coughed smoothly to get their attentions.
 They slowly looked to the source of the cough, to the place where Mikuo was standing.
 He was just standing there and it looked like he was getting bored or something.
 Some minutes have passed before he finally decided to speak.
"Hey. . . ., mind if we finish this already? I'm still busy giving that beautiful girl over there a tour around the town." he then used his thumb to point the tree where Yume was hiding.
"Huh?! You! How dare you look down on us?! I don't care whether you're that guy or not, but I'm still taking you down! Haaaaaaaa!" she then rushed towards him waving her anchor.
"Wait— Guh. Hey, cover us up." Rapier followed her leaving Staff behind.
"Y-y-y-yes!"
"Huh? What are you talking about?" Mikuo was bewildered because of that.
"Enough talk! Tidal Magic: Tidal Edge!" a magic circle appeared on her hands. She traced her anchor using her hands and when she did that, water began covering its thus widening its reach."Hyaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!".
 The two were rushing toward Mikuo when he suddenly changed his posture as if he was about to charge. He gripped the hilt of his sword tightly and twisted the side of his lips to make a fearless smile.
"Crimson Edge. Let's finish this."
 Mikuo raised his sword and the raging flames around him suddenly started to gather around it, to be more accurate, started covering it.
 The two probably sensed danger so they immediately fell back beside the girl with the staff.
 And when the sword looked like it can no longer hold all the flames covering it, Mikuo took a stance as if he was going to charge forward. And then—
"Okay! Let's do this! Flare Magic: Solar Flare!" a magic circle appeared below him then he swayed his sword with all his might and when he did that, the flames extended out of the blade and rushed towards them, reducing everything it came into contact with to nothing but ashes.
"Don't look down on us! Tidal Magic: Tidal Wall!" Anchor shouted while raising her hand, when she did that, a magic circle appeared on the ground ahead of them and a thick wall of water rose out of it.
"Sh-sh-she's right! Ice Magic: Ice wall!" another magic circle appeared by the word of Staff and the wall of water suddenly turned into a solid wall of ice.
"No matter how strong you are, there's no way you can break through this!" Rapier said that with a cool pose breaming with confidence.
 The torrent of flames continued to rush towards them, and when it finally came into contact with their prided wall of solid ice—
"Gashhhuuuuu!" the flames and ice collided against each other and caused a slight impact on the surroundings. The wave of flames was completely blocked.
"Haaah! See? No matter how strong you are, you can't just—" she was confidently boasting against Mikuo with a cool pose but she stopped midway, no, it's not on purpose, she just lost all of her words because of what she saw.
 The face of Mikuo does not belong to a person who was defeated, but the face of a person who already won. That fearless smile suggested that their match was already over and victory already belonged to him.
 She instantly felt shivers running down her spine because of that fearless smile.
 And when she was still in a loss—
"*crack crack*" the thick wall of ice gave off such sound.
 She regained composure from that panic and averted her sight towards the wall to see what was that sound, but her eyes widened the moment she laid her eyes on it.
 The supposed-to-be thick wall of ice was now cracking and melting and was starting to thin out.
 Then she noticed that the other two on her sides were already possessing faces of horror.
 The ice was almost completely melted and it's just a matter of seconds before it finally collapse. The three just stood there as if they were frozen.
"*crack!*" the ice finally collapsed and the wave of flames was almost next to them.
 The three covered their bodies in reflex hoping that they will survive the pain they will encounter.
 Yume also closed her eyes.
 But—
"Glacier Magic: Glacier Flake"
"Gashhuuuuu!" it looks like the ice collided onto something again. The three, including Yume, making it four, slowly opened their eyes to view the situation.
 And what they saw caused their eyes to widen.
 Also, Mikuo stood there with a shocked expression.
 Their reactions were understandable because what they saw was truly shocking.
 There was a big snowflake floating between the three and the flames completely separating them from harm. But what was more shocking was that the snowflake was not moved even a bit and was effortlessly holding of against the torrent of flames.
"What is— Impossible." Mikuo wore a face of disbelief.
 The flames finally faded but the snowflake was still floating there, without even a single scratch, as good as new.
 Mikuo looked towards the three but instead of relief, what he saw were faces of horror and they were even shaking a little bit.
"Th-th-th-that magic." Anchor said that. She was too scared that it made him think that the person he battled moments ago was someone different. But the other two were in the similar condition.
 They were all still dumbfounded when something unexpected happened.
"Glacier Magic: Glacier Prison"
 A magic circle appeared on the ground where the three was standing on and all of a sudden, they were covered with ice form head to toe. Even Yume was scared, but her face seemed like she knows something he don't.
"?!"
 He alerted his senses and looked for the unknown assailant.
 He was busy scanning through his surroundings when a particular silhouette caught his attention.
 It was standing on the branch of a nearby tree, but because it was standing on the direction of the setting sun, he can't see it clearly.
 All he can see was that it possessed a long hair and was wearing a dress dominated by light blue.
 Its figure clearly belonged to a girl so it's safe to address it as She.
 Her existence alone was emanating a strong aura, something that has authority, enough to send chills down to his spine.
 Because of the pressure he was feeling, it took him time to regain his composure.
"Wh-who are you?" despite the fear, he still managed to raise his voice.
 The girl was just standing there, saying nothing, doing nothing.
 No one knows how much time passed by, but, the sun has finally set dying the sky with the darkness of the night.
 The nearby lamp posts (those that were not destroyed) automatically turned on when it became dark revealing the surroundings, including the appearance of the girl.
 What he saw there caused his eyes to widen and jaws dropped instantaneously.
 And the only word he muttered after that was—
"Yume?"
