Chapter Sixty one- A family meeting.
Most of them have already turned into wolves and the royal family are riding horses and are leading them in full speed. Logan is riding Nadia and the king is riding with the queen. Absalom is riding with Enoch’s wife and Barnabas has changed into a wolf and is trotting along with the horses. They stop when they see the building in front of them and laughs out saying,
“It seems your brother wanted to live the sane life as you even if he wasn’t Alpha king. Look at what he made for himself, the same palace just that he doesn’t have subordinates to rule over.”
The king snorts and moves ahead of them slightly before speaking,
“We are here, put it in mind, no one harms my brother. Leo informed me that, he had rendered his son lifeless and he had an hour to live then so now, I can only say that I have lost my nephew because of setup. So, try to reduce casualties.”
And he turns to match them ahead, they howl and begin to match forward but then, right in front of them, Leo appears in front of them standing on a ball of water. Logan and Nadia see him and get down of their horses, the ball of water under his feet burst to the ground and he lowers himself slowly to the ground. But then, Nadia grabs him into her arms and lands kisses on his face.
He pushes away from her and cleans his face with his palms and he shouts at her,
“What do you think you are doing woman? When did you become an emotional girl? Madam noir, get your act together, otherwise, I will inform your subordinates of your weakness.”
Nadia looks around and sees everyone looking at them especially Leo and Logan staring at her. She clears her throat and speaks,
“It’s right that you are surprised at my son’s outburst but why are you staring at me as well? I’m just excited that he has appeared in front of me unscathed. Can’t a mother do that?”
The queen laughs out and replies to her,
“I’m sure of your excitement but he came alone, where is my Enoch?”
Leo shakes his head and says to them,
“We only need the royal family to come with me, the rest of you, go back to the kingdom. Oh, Grandpa, tell your soldiers to go back home. Just the few of us will handle the people at the war front.”
The king gets down from his horse and he also grabs Leo in his arms. Leo is about to pull away but then, the king pushes him to the side and he shouts in their way,
“You heard your prince, return to the kingdom and we will settle the matter here first. Betas, you can join us, in case of any inconveniences.”
The people agree and they turn back and start leaving. Leo along with his family return to the camp. They see the werecrocodiles standing with Beta Paul on platform. Their attention is on the man fighting with others in front of them, but then when they walk towards them, they act as if they haven’t seen them for sometime and when they get close enough, they see others coming from several directions.
Enoch stops fighting and rushes to join them and when he does, he says to them,
“It’s a trap when we thought that they were only a few of them. A man just came here with his trope and he seems to be working with beta Paul. What are we going to do about this?”
All the while as he spoke, the people had their eyes on him and when he finishes speaking, he realizes that, they are only staring at him. He swallows hard and cleanses his face and then he asks again,
“What is the plan? I will attack from my left side. Logan on the right and Absalom from behind. Father, you fight with those rascals on the front until we join you. This is easy right?”
The queen laughs out and says to him,
“Haven’t you seen your mother, shedding tears after seeing you for who you are in several years? Is the war that important?”
Enoch suddenly sees the problem and he replies to them,
“To tell the truth, I feel strange and I don’t know how to act towards you. But for now, I decided to put aside this feeling of embracing you and sought out the problem we have ahead of us. Or do you want me to loose you all after meeting after all this time? Okay, enough talk, let’s do what we have to do.”
The charge and do as they are told by Enoch, Nadia and Leo walk among them as they fight and when someone tries to attack them, they finish the person off before they continue their journey. The crocodile king looks on along with Beta Paul and when they are close enough, a man emerges from their back. Ge is dressed in an all white dress that covers his head like a hoodie. He is wearing gloves which are white.
Leo and walk ahead and stop in front of them. Beta Paul takes a step back and hides behind the man dressed in all white. But then, he suddenly removes the cloth covering his head and stares right at Leo. Leo also stares right back at him and he asks his mother,
“Mother, who is this man that I am seeing? Apart from the scent coming from him which smells just like Dad, don’t you think that he looks like his old age?”
Nadia nods her head and pulls her closer to her and then whispers to him,
“He should be your grandpa but he doesn’t know that and is standing with our enemies.”
The man moves forward and the crocodile king laughs out and pulls a sword from his side then he says,
“It seems to be a family meeting instead of a war. So you are the One huh? Because of you, the sea has blocked my entry and with you, we will gain access back to it. All you have to do is, come with us and help us return back home. You can become our king if that’s what you want. We haven’t become ourselves ever since we rebelled against your grandfather.”
