However, yesterday, Pamela who has grown to  dislike Benedicta the bad boy so much because of his lies and his possessive attachment to senior Efe reported him to the chief house mistress after she was caught sending a love letter to a girl through a day school , Pamela who had dislike him seized the letter, and ran through the contents and to the house mistress home in company of Nwanju and Grace.  Mrs Alele dealt seriously with Benedicta the bad boy and everything.
                  Benedicta had been looking for the slightest opportunity to pick up a quarrel with Pamela and this was one reason to start the other reason was because Pamela refused to be his girlfriend, that make him to have it in his mind to deal with Pamela if she tried to touch anything or say anything concerning him.
                 Pamela her hand away,  Grace eyed Benedicta and walked out dragging Pamela along who was looking for the right word to use for this thief and liar. Grace who' want Benedicta to change his mind and his behavior towards people which she felt was not good as student, she wanted him to change his friend too that is why she have to dragged the two of them out to talk to them to be friends and not enemy's.
                 The stealing incident floated like a plastic plates on top of water to Pamela.  Last Christmas celebration, "Ben" former popular known as the bad boy in the school, paid a  surprised visit to Pamela at her house.
                 Left to her,  Pamela would have gladly walked him out but good manners and her parents would not let her to do so in their present.   Food was served by her mother with a generous chunk of meat adorning each plate and placed on the dinning table, before meal however, the girls and boys went out for a  snapshot.
                While outside Ben went in on a pretence of wanting to collect her handbag and later came back to join them.  After the photographs, they went in to eat their food,  Alas!   two chunks of meat were missing from the dinning table , with this news Pamela felt the ugly situation of things and was so ashamed knowing that her other friends would not know what happened to the meat.
                   But suspecting Ben knowing that he alone went near to the dinning table when she must have gone to collect her handbag,  Pamela felt upset for the rest of the day considering what her friends would think of her family. And so The day passed bitterly because of the disgrace caused by Ben the bad boy, she was not bold enough to tell her mum or any other person because of the shame of identifying herself with such a shameless foul language fellow.
               This time every student were back to their school because it was school day and Pamela was not left out she was in her school already for that day prepared to learn whatever the teacher well be teaching them that day.
                Approaching senior Efe,  Pamela sincerely wished that Efe would not be 
 an important discussion with some visitors who came to visit her in her office that day.   When Pamela and her friend Deborah got to the them , Efe ushered them a seat for them to waited for her first that she would be with them very soon.
                  "Hello girls" she greeted "How do you like the idea of us going to the camp to read, just the five of us,  besides it will be of immense benefits to you girls because we will be there to assist any one of you in any subject area in which you have difficulties,  Do you like the idea girls?"  she asked her blue eyes dancing expectantly from Pamela to the other.
                   "Yes, yes yes " Pamela and her friends screamed, they were all smiles and excited.
                   Gradually, Pamela brightened up and ran to embraced Efe .  The feeling of fore boding of not passing her exams left her, now she was ready to continue living, she saw this as an opportunity, a challenge to fulfill her dream as a means to stop living a monotonous way of life and source of pleasure and adventure, this was a dream coming true. The idea of reenforced her desire to make A(s) in her exams and be the best student of the year and be the best among the other students,  amidst sweet thought, she listened to Efe plan for their camping..
                But she got a call from her mom telling her to come home and not to go to the camp with her friends she was not happy with this.
                 "No mummy! That is for you!  I can not take that instruction" screamed Pamela into the mouthpiece.   She dropped the phone with a bang and walked angrily out of the reception room everyone and the school staff secretary stared after her.
                  Immediately Pamela got out side of the room, she could not help to pretend being cool again, tears began to ran down her cheeks, as she was frightened at the thought of not going to camp with her friends, her mummy have warned her not to go anywhere but to come back home that a hired Tutor was waiting for her arrival. But she did not want to miss the fun of staying with her friends in the camp.
                The other girls had received consent from their parents.   The morning, Grace mother came in to drop some provisions for her daughter.  While Nwanju parents sent a driver to bring her own provisions for her for the time she will spend in the camp, now Pamela could not know what to do! She found it difficult to think straight knowing that if she should tell Efe that her mother have disapproved of the idea of going to the camp instead asking her to come back home .
                Efe a pleasant girl, she is a person's who likes doing things in the right way and she took things easily with people, if know that Pamela mother have asked her to come home, she would not let Pamela to accompany them to the camp which she wanted to go to  then she decided not to tell Efe that her mom agreed but refused to send her money and provisions to her, knowing Efe very well, she was not the type to brood over material things. Through she was an orphan, yet she had all that was necessary in abundance, her uncle, chief Osagie saw to that.
                Sweet Efe, she thought.  She was one nice and plain person despite the privilege she enjoyed as the school Assistant senior prefect of the school and wealthy chief Osagie niece , she had the grace and figure of a Madonna and long, well manicured nails, her smooth and flawless skin was quite orange coloured save for luck, she would have been an albino, she was not one to be crazy about the use of make up, her appearance was always very simple,  Pamela kept on wondering how she could stay with Ben the bad boy who was a contrast to his character, she would be the last person to allowed him accompany them.
                   Pamela sorrow wore off as she marched in to the dormitory with a determination, above description.
