Chapter 53.

"Ah, sorry, sis, we'll continue later, okay? I'll answer the phone first. He said this and immediately left the plate and its contents on the dining table.
Mbok Siti, who saw this, immediately covered the plate containing Arga's food. Mbok Siti sighed. She watched Arga, who was talking on the phone, carefully, and a thin smile spread from the corners of her lips. It was enough to calm him down, even though several things were still bothering him. Meanwhile, Arga, whom he thought was Lucas, turned out to be Sean. Ah, he forgot that his friends cared about him.
Hello, Se," answered Arga.
"No, Tirta wants to propose to Casya," he said directly, without further ado.
"So?" Arga asked
"He told us to come, but you didn't want to come. Sean said
"Aren't you alone in Bali too? Arga asked
"Hmm, I'll be back tomorrow."
"When will he propose to Casya?" asked Arga again.
"Next week, they're getting engaged first, I think, because it's difficult to get Casya's father's approval; he actually wants to set Casya up with someone else, his business partner, and do you know who Casya's father's business partner is? Sean asked on the other end very casually, but it felt tense because he was serious.
"Who?" Arga asked because he really didn't know.
"You will know if I mention his name." Sean seemed to play a riddle at him, making him snort.
"Hurry up and tell me; don't act like a detective," he said with a chuckle that made Sean chuckle in satisfaction.
Arga was silent for a while, until he finally remembered something: "Don't tell." He paused his words, and Sean answered again.
"That's right, Uncle Loe's business partner, which is actually your ex-to-be-in-law, is your ex-in-law." Sean didn't continue; he wanted to change his words but couldn't because Arga had already cut him off.
"I don't care who he is; what is clear is that if Tirta likes Casya, tell him not to stop trying to win his parents' hearts, because in my opinion, even without their blessing, Tirta should be able; he only respects Casya's wishes so that he won't be underestimated by his family. Arga explained by exhaling that he knew the feeling and that it was quite difficult. Having experienced it, even though the circumstances are different, is still enough to create a lesson and experience for your life.
"No, are you okay?" asked Sean. Arga shook his head, but realising that no one saw him, he finally muttered softly, a sign that he was okay with Sean.
"No, I wanted to say that there was an invitation for you; I don't know from whom, but he seems to know you well. Even though I've only seen him a few times, I don't know him; I just know him. Sean continued.
"Who?" asked Arga.
"Wedding invitation, from Fathur; it looks like the groom himself brought it to you. I don't know who the bride is, but I think I've met her, and the invitation was placed in your office last night. When you left, he personally delivered the invitation to your office, and I happened to go into your room to get my cellphone charger," he explained.
Hearing Fathur's name mentioned, he seemed to be contemplating and remembering the past; in fact, recently, Arga often thought about the past because it made him both entertained and sad, and that way he wouldn't forget it.
"Who is the bride? Arga asked quickly.
"I don't know, but his name is Nuril, and I actually met that guy with a woman, and they were talking with Casya. And I don't know if it was his future wife or someone else. Clearly Sean again.
"That's right," Arga answered without being asked, making Sean on the other side quite surprised; he frowned in disbelief.
"What do you mean, Ga? Sean asked, continuing.
"Ha? Oh, no! What did I just say? He asked, feeling he hadn't said anything, but Sean snorted again.
"Why are you doing this?" asked Sean. Before Arga answered, he continued, "If you're not ready, it's better to have someone from Tirta monitor Maudy, and you better go back to Jakarta! You have invitations, business trips, and also contracts with foreign companies; you should arrange a schedule, and you have to meet several times before signing the contract. Sean explained in detail because he thought Arga could clear his mind while in Bandung, but apparently not. He was mistaken.
"Not that." Arga replied firmly and spontaneously.
"So what? You can't keep focusing on the past; if you're not ready, just go back. If you're ready, look for him and meet him. You said you want to apologise at least once in your life, so that your guilt and regret will disappear. Even though I know, I would never say, At least by seeing him, you can be grateful that you are still alive. Arga felt that Sean gave the best advice as a friend, even though he knew that Sean was hurt as much as he was. They were actually both hurting. So is Tirta; Arga doesn't know that they are bound and very connected to each other, even though they have different stories. Only he and Sean are quite similar, although in different contexts.
"Hey, I just found out you're this wise, and I thought you were still the same Sean, who probably still likes fooling around with other women. It turns out I was wrong all this time.
"All this time I've been doing this because of past trauma, and you're right. Even though I've never really listened to you, I know what it's like to be labelled as an irresponsible man even though you haven't done anything wrong. Sean could be heard sighing, and Arga knew that it must have felt quite heavy.
All this time, Sean, Tirta, and himself pretended to be perfect men and quite popular with women out there. It turns out it wasn't that beautiful; they kept a lot of secrets, although now they can't be said to be secrets anymore. Because sometimes knowing each other's weaknesses as friends turns out to be better, even though not everything that is experienced can be told.
"Se, you can really do whatever you want; it's just that I ask you to be careful. Tirta has been like that all this time; the difference is that he limits himself. I'm just afraid you can't limit yourself. It turns out I was wrong; you can limit yourself properly. Saying hello in one breath made Arga finally realise that, as it turns out, this is how much they care about each other.
"No, just go home to Jakarta first. In my opinion, it's because you can meet him in Jakarta. But I don't know why I have to go to Jakarta either. Sean responded again.
It looks like I'm going to meet him in Jakarta, Se," replied Arga too.
"Why? Are you this sure? What happened?" Sean asked a little curiously and also urgently, even though he didn't look like he was pressing; it's just that his curiosity was high because of Arga's words earlier.
