"Shit!" Kris said as she knew that this ones is beyond her power this time around and so she and Mezie become so afraid as they continues looking at those men's face while trembling so hard.
"Mezie, you stay close!" Kris said as she keeps looking around while those men got their weapons ready that got the attraction of the people who were in the pub and so also eyes were on Mezie, Kris and the men.
And probably wondering why those men, most especially as many as they gathered just for kids.
"Do you think that we can do this?" Mezie whispered to Kris who was busy looking at the men in fear, she couldn't even answer him because she is of course afraid.
"Umm" she was trying to say and then one of the men raised his sword to stab her unexpected and she quickly closed her eyes screaming with her mouth opened being so frightened.
"Ahhh!!!" She screamed with her eyes closed but after a few seconds she noticed that there wasn't any action taken on her and so she slowly opened her eyes just to notice that the man's hand was struggling with the air.
"Ugh!!" the man screamed as he stabs himself to death and that made Kris stare at Mezie who was equally watching the man as the both of them was surprised wondering why the man has to kill himself.
And it did not end there as all the men hired began to kill themselves one after the other making Mezie and Kris wonder what is going on.
"What are you all doing!!" the man that hired them yelled at them but none of them acted like he was in their midst.
"Hell?" Kris murmured out of surprised as they couldn't quite point out what is going on, they were all killing themselves.
After those men got themselves killed, Athena and Mark walked in.
"Oh she did it" Mezie murmured with a low voice before screaming out "Athena!" Mezie screamed her name out of happiness and rushed her and embraced her.
"Come on... you scared me, Mezie, where did you went to?" Athena asked as Mezie turned and looks at Kris who was staring at them.
"Hello...?" Mark interrupted them and so they looked up to him just to discover that he was referring to the man who brought the men against Mezie and Kris.
And out of fear the man ran out of their present immediately making Mark to concentrate on Mezie.
"So... this is your lil bro you was talking about?" Mark said as Mezie interrupted.
"Am not lil!! bro!" Mezie interrupted while Mark looks up to Athena.
"He is stubborn and arrogant, you are right Athena" Mark said and that made Mezie to look up to Athena with a kind of annoying look on his face as it appears that Athena was criticizing him.
"Whatever...!" Mezie said and approached Kris.
"This is Kris my umm... friend, she saved me" Mezie said and Athena approached her and touched her cheeks softly.
"Thank you, Kris" Athena said as Kris nods and then she began to walk away.
"Mezie, we have to begin to look out for who we came here for because we are already taking too much time relaxing and it's how ever getting late, and I want to relax my bones on bed not ground" Athena said.
"Yeah, it was you who was rushing too much but trust me I found the person we are looking for, Kris is his daughter" Mezie said and that left Athena staring at Kris surprisingly.
"Yes, he is my father, come with me" Kris said as she walks forward while Athena looks at Mezie and nods at him.
And Mezie looks up to Mark and looks at Athena again "Umm, who is he?" Mezie asked as Athena grabbed Mezie's hand.
"He is a friend, a good one, his name is Mark" Athena said as Mark and her stared at each other while Mezie was looking at them with a funny look on his face.
"Come on guys!" Kris who has already reached the exit door shouted at them as she is about to walk out of their sight.
And why she alerted them she waited behind while Athena looks up to Mark.
"Goodbye Mark, let's go Mezie" Athena said and she began to walk away with Mezie while Mark smiled at her.
"Hmm, I am hoping to see you again!" Mark responded and she stared at him once more with a romantic look on her face.
And then they followed Kris who led them directly to her father's chamber.

The door opened and Kris stepped into the room with Athena and Mezie.
It was a little house that has about just three rooms and parlour in it but the house appeared very neat and costly.
Most of the the things inside was made with gold as Mezie's mouth was widely opened as he kept looking around.
Kris dropped her basket on top of the table and then Athena asked her a question.
"But, where is your dad? is he not inside here?" Athena asked.
"He we'll be back soon, just make yourself comfortable let me get you something to eat" Kris said was about to step into the other space where she cooks but Athena stopped her.
"No, don't bother about food, we just finished eating" Athena said and Mezie stares at her.
"But, it was you who finished eating, I didn't eat anything" Mezie interrupted and Athena looks up to Kris again..
"You heard him right? am sorry to interrupt your good work" Athena said as she shrugged her shoulders, "maybe you should just prepare it a little that he will be able to finish it" Athena said and Kris nods.
"Don't worry, I myself is is equally hungry, so I believe that the both of us will eat together!" Kris said as she stared at Mezie who looked at her and smirked.
And then she began to make an arrangement for her food while Mezie was left looking around the room while Athena was busy with thoughts.
Trying to recover some good memories with Mark her old friend.
Mezie's eyes finally ended up on an amazing necklace made with golden cross and the rope was dark black in colour.
Mezie approached it and began looking at it as he finds it attractive.
"Do you like it?" Kris's voice sounded on his ear as he turns being so frightened just discover that it was she was standing beside him.
"Yeah, it looks so much beautiful" Mezie responded while Kris removed it from where her father hanged it and put it on Mezie's neck by herself.
"It looks beautiful" Kris said as Mezie smiled and looks at her while Athena was watching.
"Thank you" Mezie responded as Kris nods.
"The necklace, it was given to me by my mum when she was alive, she called it protection, but I haven't wore it for once because I don't think think I like it" Kris said with a low voice while Mezie stared at her with a sorrowful face.
"You lost your mum? I'm very sorry about that! I understand how it feels because I lost my own mother too" Mezie said as Kris looks at him and as well stares at Athena who looked away from his gaze because she always feel guilty talking anytime she hears about that discussion.
"What about your dad? was he the one that sent you here? where are you from?" Kris asked.
"I came from a very far place, am from Kings-Heaven, I was sent to this place by my mum and she was the last and the last one to die after the death of others in my family"
"I watched her got burnt alive" Mezie said then he noticed how Kris was staring at Athena and so he equally looked at Athens and he can see her feeling so guilty even though she is not to be fully blamed about that incident.
Looking at her, anyone who noticed how she was sitting during the discussion could notice that something was wrong just like Kris noticed and so she looked Mezie.
"Does she have a hand in your mother's death? she looks guilty" Kris asked while Mezie waved his head.
"That doesn't matter to me anymore! but come on I believe you are making something for me to eat, sorry I mean for us to eat right?" Mezie said and Kris smiled.
"Good, I was about to tell you before that you had something you need to help me out and do?" Kris said as Mezie smirked.
"What?" Mezie asked as she points at the big chicken.
"You should help me out and cut the chicken into pieces while I will be busy preparing other ingredients" Kris said and without waiting for further more orders from Kris, Mezie took a knife from from the table and approached the chicken.
He was so amazed by the chicken's appearance because it was full of meat and very huge and well prepared.
"Wow!! Yummy!" Mezie's voice sounded as Kris looks at him just to discover that he was busy opening and closing the legs of the chicken instead of cutting them and so she approached him angrily and slapped his head gently.
"What the hell are you doing! that was not what I asked you to do" Kris yelled at him.
"Sorry, what did you ask me to do again?" Mezie asked as she responded with a loud voice.
"Not opening and closing and looking at the anus of the chicken!" Kris yelled at him while Athena gives out a little smile as it sounds funny.
"Anus? what anus?" Mezie asked pretending not to know what she's talking about.
"The chicken's Anus! stop opening and closing the chicken's Anus! cut it instead!" Kris yelled at him and immediately the door opened and Mazi's voice interrupted them.
"And who are you talking with Kris?" Mazi said and stepped in and that was him, who they were actually looking for but neither of them know each other.
So immediately Mazi stepped in Athena quickly stood up from her seat as Mezie was looking at him too.
"Kris! how many times have I warned you to stop bringing strangers into my house!" Mazi yelled at Kris and Kris looked up to Mezie.
"That's my father, the person you are looking for" Kris said before approaching Mazi.
"Dad, they came a long way looking for you, I have to offer them seat to rest" Kris replied and Mazi stares at them while Mezie approached him.
"Here is what my mother asked me to give you" Mezie said as he opens his little bag just to discover that the paper his mum gave him was no longer in there.
And he keep searching and searching to the extent that Mazi was already looking at them with an angered look on his face because he obviously thought that they are trying to play some kind of trick on him.
After a long look Mezie looks up to Athena and waved his head almost into years because he has lost the paper.
"Fuck... we wasted our time coming to this place, I lost the paper" Mezie muttered.
"Are you talking about this one?" Athena said as she removed her hand from her back and bring out the white paper which Mezie quickly rushed her out of happiness and collected the paper and immediately gave it to Mazi.
Mazi collected it and began to read but looking at his face they can clearly understand that he was not happy reading that paper and so Mezie looks up to Athena.
And with the look on Athena's face Mezie understood that the paper Athena gave him wasn't actually the later that his mum gave him it was just the one Athena formed from magic immediately.
So not even Athena or him could know what is written inside that paper for now and for now they just have to wait to know what Mazi's reaction would be.
