Kris was busy serving the customers ale and foods as well just according to what they have requested.
While more and more customers were stepping inside the pub too.
"Kris, I thought I have told your father to stop allowing you into this place? you are just too young to be here! you shouldn't be allowed or else it will corrupt you" Ava one of the ladies that works for Mazi at the pub said to Kris.
Kris silently served the last person she was supposed to serve and then folds her hand looking at Ava.
"Excuse me Ava? my dad has no idea that I am inside this place... because my dad is not always around so sometimes I have to make my own choice too, I have a choice to make because this is my life, understand that?" Kris said as Ava interrupted her.
"Shut the hell! Kris! you can make a choice for yourself at the right time, you are still a kid so you cannot make any choice!"
"So I am telling you to keep that now and leave this place with immediate effect!" Ava yelled at her as she interrupted with a statement that shocked Ava.
"Yeah, I will leave so that I can give you enough space so you can continue fucking almost every young man that walks into this place!" Kris said as Ava was left looking at her in surprise.
First she was wondering how Kris get to know about that because she use to do that secretly so how the hell did the little girl find out?
Though Ava was about to say something but Mazi and Athena stepped into the pub making her to hold on and stared at Kris one last time before walking up to her master.
"Sir, we are going to run out of food very soon, we need more supply from the cooks" Ava said immediately she approached Mazi.
"Okay..." Mazi was about to make a statement but couldn't as he was shocked seeing Kris in here while she was attempting to hide her face.
"What's she doing here! Kris what are you doing here!!" Mazi asked as Ava gives out a fake smile.
"Nothing sir, I was the one that called on her to help me bring a bucket of ale, she delivered it just now and she was about leaving before you stepped" Ava said as Mazi nodded.
"If that's so... but come here Kris" Mazi said as Kris approached and handed over a piece of meat in her hand to Athena who smiled at her and appreciated.
"Thank you" Athena said and collected the dried meat from her and began to take a bite of it.
"Go to the kitchen chamber Kris, tell the chefs to set the foods readily that some men will be coming to carry it in a very short time" Mazi said as Kris nods but before she attempted to walk away.
There was a kind of gaze Ava and her give to each other.
And while was about to step out of the pub Athena interrupted.
"Wait! excuse me Mazi, I don't know if it will be fine for me to go with her?" Athena requested and Mazi shrugged his shoulder.
"Yeah, of course you can go with her" Mazi approved. "At least that will make the errand quick because she usually diverts from the message I sent her and took in to another place.
"And once that happens we can set our eyes on her again only sundown" Mazi said as Athena smiled and looks at Kris.
"Okay sir, I will take care of that this time" Athena said as she joins Kris.
"Let's go" Athena said and the both of them left while Ava began to discuss with her boss about their business.

"You see, those are my friend and I think my dad was probably right, if I weren't with you now, I could have joined them and play along" Kris said as Athena looks at those kids she was talking about and they are really having a nice time.
But Athena halted from moving on looking at Kris while Kris halted as well "Kris, you can learn to start being a good child so that your dad will be proud of you, and stop thinking much about your..." Athena was still saying but Kris interrupted.
"I have heard that statement severally from several people on several occasions, so yours is probably not the first so do you think it will make me change? sorry, I mean... come on... am good" Kris said as she continues walking and Athena joined her as they began to take their step just slowly.
"I know that I might be stubborn but I have equally made my dad proud, I can fight as a female, and can stand a chance with bigger men now! I was the one that struggled and learnt that from the best warriors of Seldom"
"My Dad never wanted that for me, he wants a normal life for me where he will treat me like a princess but I never wanted that because I never was a princess"
"I can cook, as much as we have so many chiefs that works for my dad and we always have surplus foods to eat but trust me I never allow my dad to eat from the food they make"
"I always cook for him and he eats what I cook only because it's exceptional" Kris said as she halts and fold her arms looking directly at Athena's face with her arms folded.
"So come on... am good, I know am not perfect but this is me! we can never find someone that doesn't have flaws, can we? we all have somewhere we are not perfect or probably a mistake that we can't change"
"I can't live the life my dad is expecting me to live, I don't think that's good for me"
"Because that's how we lost my mum, nobody could stand and defend her, so I want to be that person... so... what do you think about my decision?" Kris asked and that left Athena staring at her as she continues walking and Kris to join her too.
"I am glad that you are able to make your own decision and I think it's perfect for you, you and Mezie, almost have the same vision but they are different... totally different"
"You have made the right decision by choosing to be that person people will always fear when ever they think of oppressing your family" 
"A life that you can protect yourself and your love ones but at the same time I still think that you are being too stubborn to your dad..." Athena said and Kris interrupted.
"Am not stubborn to him, it's for Ava, she's always trying to act as the head of everything" Kris replied as Athena stares at her.
"Yes, she is trying to put my dad under her control, so most of the time she sent me message I will just play along but trust me if it's my dad that sent me on a particular message like this, I will go directly and deliver the message" Kris said as Athena looks back and stare at that location those kids were playing and she discovered that they are gone, they are no longer there.
"Yeah, I know, I know what you would say but I was joking after all... I never meant that which I said earlier" Kris replied without even allowing Athena make a statement but Athena nods at her.
"Then, in that case I'll say that you have made the best decision for yourself and for your future! you are really a brave kid that will become a great woman in the future" Athena said as Kris smiles.
"Thank you! having someone like you that appreciates people like me for their hard work will be nice for me, and not somebody like Ava!" Kris said.
"Hmm, you speak of her every time, seems like you hated this Ava for long" Athena said looking at Kris.
"Very well, I never liked her and I don't really think I will like her! is she always do some unimaginable things apart from keeping my dad under her control..."
"She does somethings that I wouldn't want to mention" Kris said.
"Unimaginable things like what?" Athena asked as Kris stares at her silently.
"Don't bother, I think that should be left for me and her and she have a huge debt to pay for that, if not... I will tell you" Kris said as Athena nodded and let that be because she wouldn't want to persuade Kris to tell her what's wrong.
Though they are passing through that area where Athena and Mezie ate on their arrival to Seldom and so Athena saw Mark sitting at the chamber of the food seller again.
"Hey, I finally saw you again" Mark said when he saw Athena while she smiled at him.
"Hmm, your eyes are sharp though, you were still able to recognize me even though the day is dark already" Athena said and Mark nodded and put his hand behind his back and bring out a sword.
"I think you are the one that forgot this here?" Mark said as he brings out the sword from it's scabbard.
"Hmm, it looks so amazing and I'm very sure there is something special about it because I have never seen a sword looking so deadly and nice like this one" Mark said as Athena collected the sword from him because that's Mezie's sword.
She put it back on it's scabbard "Well, thank you so much for this, I appreciate the fact that you kept it for me" Athena said as Mark nodded.
"Sorry, but can I feel the weight of that word? it looks longer... larger and dangerous as well" Kris requested and without hesitating Athena gave her the sword and she can see that the sword is much more than her on height and as well heavy in her hand.
"Hmm, I'm very sure that whosoever is using this, must be a giant? right?" Kris said as Athena waves her head and collected the sword from her.
"No, the sword is for Mezie, I have to give it back to him or let me just say I'll probably keep it safe for him but where is he?" Athena asked as Kris collected the sword back from her as she was so lost wondering how manage Mezie battles with the sword.
"I don't know" Kris responded to Athena and that's because she is lost having a look at the sword.
"What? you don't know Mezie's whereabout?" Athena responded in shock and that was when Kris came back to her right senses.
"Pardon me, but is he really that famous? because I Wonder why since he came here many people keep visiting from different places and different Kingdoms?"
"Is he that famous?" Kris asked but Athena was left looking at her with a confused face because she don't really understand what Kris is trying to say.
"And what did you mean supposed to mean by is he that famous?" Athena asked.
"Because another group of girls visited not long ago, and Mezie called one of them cousin and left the bucket of ale he was carrying for me, and out of annoyance I left it for him and walks away"
"So I left him with those girls and right now I think he is still with them because I don't know where he is" Kris said but was still more concentrated on the sword as Athena pulled the sword away from her hand and that was when she knew Athena has become serious.
"See you later Mark" Athena said to Mark who was busy eating and then she looks back at Kris.
"Take me to where you left them" Athena said as Kris nodded and then the both of them ran to that position Kris left him.
But getting on that position, Mezie neither Ver and her friend was found again so Kris stared at Athena.
"Where are they?!" Athena asked with a loud voice.
"Umm, I left them here so I think they are probably gone" Kris said.
"To where?" Athena asked with a scared voice
