JENNIFER'S POV

So after meeting up with Mira I came back to my class and sat alone but I wasn't myself.
Everyone inside the class was happy and playing around but me? I just feel like it is becoming something serious.
I mean am already 17yrs of age and I'm supposed to have found my ward since 13yrs of age, come on I have seen 10yrs old guardian angels found their wards but why is mine taking time?
I need to be happy with him already, besides this is making me to believe that I am no one's guardian angel, I only come into this world with a useless supernatural powers.
What is the need of supernatural powers if I don't have a ward?
Or does it mean that I will have to find my ward by myself, I have to make my choice? no...! it has never been so, the white cross are always there to tell.
Without the cross there won't be any supernatural connection between me and the person.
But what can I do? this is really eating me up just now and I just realised that I have been wasting my time listening to Mira's shit.
And I believed that the reason why I haven't find my ward was because I have used too many time that I was supposed to use on my spiritual life on Mira.
"Hey, Jenni? you don't look okay, are you" I heard a voice sounded on my ear and I looked up just to discover that it was Amber, my best friend.
She sat besides me and touches my head understanding that am not fine.
"Where is Dante?" I asked as she smiled.
"Actually we we are both heading to the school library but I just decided to see you because you haven't come around my class since today, are you okay?" Amber asked.
"But you should have known that I am not fine, come on I can't be fine, I want to know how it feels" I responded as she stared at me silently.
Of course she can understand what I'm suffering, I believe she doesn't know the exact word to respond with.
She just took my hands and smooch it gently, then she opened my palms and stares at lines in my palms trying to see if there are any possibility of me finding my ward anytime soon.
But after a long time look she looked up to my face and I was hoping for a word of hope.
"Don't worry Jenni, you will find him one day" she said why I place my hand on my head.
"Yeah, you didn't find anything just let me know instead of giving me hope!" I said with a voice little above whisper.
"Jennifer..." Amber wanted to offer me some words just like she used to but I cut her off.
"Please... I don't need those words again, come on... my time is running out, are you sure that I'm someone's guardian angel?" I asked as she nods without hesitating.
"Jennifer as far as you have one the of the supernatural powers of the chosen ones then surely, you have someone to protect" Amber replied.
"Then where is him? where is the person?" I asked as I stand up from my desk looking so frustrated. 
While Amber stared at me for a while and then she stand up and looks into my eyes as she places her hand on my cheeks.
"I understand how it feels..." She was still saying but I cut her off.
"You don't understand anything! after now you go on and have fun with Dante and come back again and repeat the same words while I just keep roaming about in the school like a lone wolf!" I yelled at her as she was left with no words.
Moreover she wasn't actually happy with my statement as I made it look like she wasn't trying her best to help me.
So after I made that statement she stared at me for a while and then turned to leave my presence but she is my best friend moreover, I couldn't let her go just like that so I held her hand making her to stare at me.
"Am sorry, I went too far but you just have to understand" I said as she embraced me and I embraced her too.
"I understand how you feel and I'm trying my best to see if I can help you out, but I just hate the words you are using on me"
"You are making it look like am not doing my best..." she responded but I couldn't wait for her to finish her statement and I kissed her making her to stare at me.
"Of course you do care about me, and I can just say that I'm sorry" I interrupted as she smiled she wanted to kiss me again but we just discovered that we are inside the class.
"Eyes may be on us" I said as she nods her head and then we sat again on my desk.
"So tell me Jennifer, I thought you said that Mira said that she's going to help you look into your future and easily help you to find your ward" Amber asked as I shrugged my shoulder.
"Mira?" I asked as she nods.
"Mira is just a friend in the mud, I'm done with all her fake promises, I believe that she has just been deceiving me, she doesn't want to help me"
"She was just too concentrated on the boy she lied on his head, claiming that he attempted to rape her" I explained as Amber took some seconds and thinks about it.
"Then you should know that there must be something different that she wants from that boy" Amber said as I nods.
"Of course, and I have tried to know but they refused to tell me so I have get my hands off it, they can do what they want to the boy that's their business"
"As for me, I have a different fate from them, entirely different one, I have already discovered that I can't cope with them anymore" I responded as Amber grabbed and smooches my hands once again.
"So now that they are no longer going to help you and I equally can't do anything about it? what about you, what are you going to do?" She asked as I looks out of the class.
I looked outside and saw Dante coming forward but was still a little bit faraway and I'm very sure he's coming to this place to get his guardian angel, Amber.
Well I didn't let Amber know about it so I looked up to her again and waves my head.
"I don't really know what to do about it, if I tell you that I know what to do at this condition then you should call me a liar" I said to Amber who waved her head and took a deep breath.
"Then I want to know if you would mind taking my own advice?" Amber requested as I smiled and touches her lips seductively.
"If I don't take your advice then who else will I take hers?" I said as I blinks my eyes and then she took down my hand from her lips and smooches it.
"Well, this is Friday, for my own opinion, you have given too much time to Mira and I believe that may be the issue on the delay of you finding your ward"
"So I would suggest that you should just go home on this weekend, spend some time with your family and don't think about your ward again"
"Make it look like you have forgotten about him, relax your mind and then why you are coming back next week make it look like you are new in this school.
And maybe things would change" Amber said as she take breathe and continues.
"And when you are back, I will go through your palms again and see if it is going to make any difference" she explained and I really love that idea of hers.
"Amber...?" Dante's voice sounded we looked up to him and without a waste of time Amber stood up from her chair and grabbed Dante's hand.
"Am sorry Dante, I know I was taking time but..." Amber was still trying to explain but Dante interrupted.
"It's fine! you are with your friend and I believe that you guys were discussing something important, so there's no need to explain" Dante said as I smiled at him and he as well blinks at me before I looked up to Amber.
"I will do exactly just as you asked me to do" I said as she blinks at me and so the both of them left as I continue my lonely life.

CASTOR'S POV

I remember being attacked my Mira's magic, that was the last thing I could say I remember.
So I can see that my eyes are closed and slowly I opened it, but my eyes are still blurred to see clearly.
So I cleaned up my eyes just to discover that I am at the school medical centre and actually lying on the bed.
Slowly I sit up as I know that someone must have brought me here, someone that saved me from the hands of Mira.
So after I stood up, I was looking around as there are other nurses attending to other students who has suddenly become a patient just like me.
Well that's actually why the medical centre was made for incase of incase.
So I was still sitting there when teacher Mirabel ran in, and immediately I saw her I didn't think twice, I understand that she was actually the One that must have saved me because apart from her there is absolutely no one else who cares about me.
"Oh, Castor am happy that you are fine" She said as she approaches and me and touches my cheeks seductively as she stared into my eyes.
"Be careful teacher, people could be looking at us" I said to her as she waved her head.
"And do I care? of course I don't care" She responded while I interrupted immediately "But I do" I responded as she grabs my hand.
"Come here!" She said as she drags me away without even allowing me to button up my shirt which am sure that it was those nurse who was taking care of me at the sick bed that opened it.
Teacher Mirabel took me into her office but I was trying to figure out what's going on.
"Please, why did you bring me here?" I asked as she takes a deep breath.
"Because I want to have an important discussion with you, there is something I want to let you know about, Castor, am tired of hiding it from you, can you have your seat" she said and without hesitation I took a seat immediately because I would also want to know about this.
"Castor, you are my ward, and I am your Guardian Angel" she said as I stares at her because it was sounding like a joke in my ear.
And she grabs my hand and turns the back of my hand for me "I know you might not believe it but I think I can make you believe, the cross is at the back of your hand and only your guardian angel could make you see it" she said as I nods.
"Yes? then make me see it" I said as she closes my eyes with her two fingers abd after a few seconds I opened my eyes and it was true.
The white cross was right here in my hand, I stared at her as I smiles making her to smile as well and she grabbed me closer and we began locking kisses.
I wanted to pull her away because we will be in deep trouble if someone mistakenly walks in and see us.
But the attraction was too strong for me to pull off then I relaxed and enjoys the kiss.

ELIZ'S POV.

"Eliz, go and see Castor at Mirabel's office, and let him know that you are his ward before it's too late" Mira suggested sitting besides me as I pushes her away from me.
"Now you thinks it's too late! yeah? after all this while you have been manipulating my mind and now it's too late!" I yelled at Mira.
"Eliz I know I have wronged you and am sorry but am still trying to make things right" Mira responded and i wanted to interrupt but held on.
"Castor is equally Jennifer's ward not just yours" Mira said as I stares at her in surprise.
"You knew about this then why didn't you tell Jennifer?" I asked.
"Obviously because of you, I can't let her have your ward and that's why I keep manipulating her mind not to find out"
"And now she is no longer under my mind control, any time she sets her eyes on Castor again, she will find out and you will loose him..." Mira was still saying and I couldn't let her finish talking so I left her immediately heading to teacher Mirabel's office.
