"Or you allow her to kill me and come and take away your happiness from you and you will forever remain a lone angel with no peace of mind, the choice is yours to make Eliz" She said.
While I kept staring at her and we looked at each other for a while.
Then I breathes out heavily and though one of the options could be a nice decision to make.
She kept on looking at me as I gently stand up from my seat and slowly approached my door.
"Where are you going?" Mira asked as I opens the door.
"To help you open the door so you can leave my house!" I yelled at her as she stands up and looks at me in surprise.
"Is that your decision to make Eliz?" Mira asked out of surprise.
She actually think that she can use this opportunity to make me accept such offer.
Come on, she obviously have no conscience at all, if she do she wouldn't have the guts to tell me to join her and kill someone again.
"Yeah, that's my decision so just leave my house! now!" I yelled at her as she picks up her hand bag and approached me.
"So you are going to let me down but what about your ward? I find it funny that you think you can stand on her way alone" She said.
"Yeah, I will stop her if she ever comes for Castor, I will make sure I stop her on my own so you can go to hell"
"When killing her father what do you have in mind? you don't know that this day will come?" I asked and she nods and accept the fact.
"Of I knew that a day like this is will come but I never thought that you will leave my side, Eliz" she said as she tries to approach me.
"Don't even dare! don't even dare step close to me! yeah you did it because you think I am going to stand with you forever!? you think you will continue messing up my mind forever?"
"Like seriously!!? is that why you have to take somebody's life? for what reason if I may ask?"
"Sorry to disappoint you, I'm no longer on your side so go and fight it alone, the way you killed the man alone" I said to her as she takes a deep breath.
"You just asked an important question, why I have to kill him?" Mira said as I folds my hand looking at her.
"Eliz, that's exactly what you don't know, I didn't tell you up till today because I am personally trying to protect you" She said as I interrupted angrily.
"Protect me from what! what do you want to protect me from!" I asked.
"Protect you from physical harm! or trying not to get your mind corrupt or to involve you in it, I don't know what exactly to call it but I just want to let you know that I was trying to protect you!"
"I killed that man not only for my benefit! I killed him because of us! the both of us!" She said as I points outside the house for her.
"Alright get out of my house, I don't know how many times I would tell you to just leave my house! can you just leave please?"
"Can you just leave please!" I yelled at her as she responded with a louder voice.
"Oh yes will you keep your mouth shut! and stop pushing me to leave your house! I will leave okay!"
"But you should be aware that when this war turns red, you will run to me begging for mercy and I will turn my back on you the same way you are doing right now!" Mira said as she tries to place her hand on my shoulder but I shifted.
"Once and for all I should clear you off what happened, I don't care if you want to listen or not!" She said while I just decided to pay a little attention to her story that will end up being a total piece of shit.
"You remember the day at the hotel? we took that money because we needed to pay our school fees but we are not able to pay because we have no money left on us"
"So we have no other option than to take the bag of money" Mira said as I interrupted her immediately.
"Point of correction it wasn't us, it was you and my mind you placed under your control!" I replied as she chuckles.
"Am sorry to say, but I didn't, I didn't had your mind under control this time, I haven't even think having your mind under control back then"
"It was all a fair agreement between the both of us, to take the bag of money, and you and I are aware of that, I did not in any way force you to do it!"
"You agreed with me with your clear mind Eliz don't even try to deny it" She said and I saw what she did there.
She had me red handedly and she was right, I remember when she was talking about.
It was the time we needed to pay school fees and our parents were delaying to bring up the money for us obviously because they don't have.
So we had an appointment at that hotel that day when we noticed that bag of money and we believed that it was just our luck so we stole the bag.
Yeah, it was magic that did the work for us in fact to cut the story short, we stole the bag but what does that have to do with Mira killing an innocent old man.
"Yeah! I accept that we stole the money together but what does that have to do with you killing Jennifer's father?" I asked.
"He saw us! he was aware that we stole the money and he recorded a video of us stealing the money and how we are able to move it with spells"
"He captured every single move from us that very day, and guess what? he wanted to use it to take advantage of me and you" Mira said as I stares at her with my eyes wisely opened.
Like seriously I never expected that she killed him because of something more serious like this, I thought it was all because of her personal interest.
"I don't know how he get to find me but he came to me one day at the streets and played the video, he threatened to expose it if I refuse to make love with him" Mira said as I grabs her hand and take her to the couch where we sat properly and she continues narrating.
"And it wasn't just me, he was equally expecting you after me, so out of anger and the protection I have for you I killed stabbed him to death immediately without knowing that Castor was there watching"
"I equally wanted kill Castor him but thanks goodness that he escape so that's the reason why behind the death of Jennifer's father" Mira concluded while i was left with no words.
"Besides, I was never aware that he is Jennifer's father, it was later on that I noticed that he actually is" Mira said as she stands up from the couch while I as well stand up looking at her.
Wondering what she was trying to do as she kept looking at me.
"Like I said earlier, am going to leave your house but let this be into your head that after Jennifer kills me she is coming for you because there is no way she would discover that am the one that killed her father and she wouldn't count you among"
"So goodbye" She said abd left my house immediately.
