I was taken aback when I noticed the man standing beside her. He actually looked familiar to me, although I couldn’t remember where I had seen him before. “I’m glad to finally meet the legendary Tiffany Salazar,” he said with a grin as he scrutinized me. I furrowed my brow. “Legendary?” As I stared at him, I couldn’t help but recall. He was the tall guy who was with them back in Caleruega! “Yes, it is her. By the way, Migz, this is Tiffany.” Jela extended her right hand towards me before turning to me. “Tiffany, this is Miguel Guerrero, our manager.” Oh. So, I was right back then. He is indeed their manager. It’s not surprising given his posture and strict aura. Their manager scanned me from head to toe, causing me to raise an eyebrow. I don’t think I made a mistake in accepting this job, right? The way he scrutinized me with his gaze seemed like he was carefully assessing whether I would pass as a model. “Can she really do it? I mean, how sure are you that TJ will somehow listen to her?” He raised an eyebrow and looked at Jela, who was trying to hold back her laughter, which I couldn’t understand. I blinked as he suddenly spoke. I immediately understood the meaning of his question. But before I could respond, Jela beat me to it. “I’m more certain than the direction TJ’s career will take,” she confidently answered. “If there’s someone who can make TJ shut up about his rants, it’s definitely her,” she added. A mischievous smile formed on their manager’s lips. “I can’t wait to see it, then.” He turned his gaze back in my direction. “Has Jela explained to you why you’re here now?” I nodded. Jela had already given me all the details last night. I am going to become Travis’ personal photographer as they stay here for almost two weeks. As such, I should accompany him on his trips and take a perfect shot of him. “Okay. Let’s see what you can do and how far you can handle him. Let’s go.” I quietly followed them. Until we stopped at the location where the photoshoot would take place. At the Bell Amphitheater. They dropped me off at the tent that was standing there. I smiled at some of the staff who greeted me as they introduced themselves. “Just stay here for now. I’ll call TJ. We’re just waiting for him,” their manager said with an uncomfortable look on his face, and then left completely. I sat on an empty chair that was here. From a short distance, I could see two familiar actors with them in the photoshoot. If I’m not mistaken, they’re a real-life couple. Unlike other actors, they seemed unaffected by the people and cameras surrounding them. Perhaps it’s because they’ve been in the industry for a long time. Ranzel had her arms around Ayesha from behind, and they were happily talking and laughing. The love team of these two is one of the most anticipated by viewers who appear in TV dramas. They were both wearing coats and high boots. Ayesha’s white turtleneck matched well with her black shorts. I think it’s part of the new collection from W and Y apparel that they endorse. “Sweet, isn’t it? It makes you feel really left out,” Jela laughingly commented while standing beside me. I turned to her. That’s when I noticed the light brown scarf around her neck, her peach-colored knit dress, and her black high boots. “Don’t you and Travis sound sweet like that?” I blurted out without thinking. My eyes widened, and I immediately covered my mouth. It was too late to take back what I asked. Stupid mouth! Why don’t you have a filter sometimes? She suddenly burst into laughter and shook her head. “Why would we be that sweet? We treat each other like siblings.” My mouth hung open at what she said. So, Travis was telling the truth that night. “Anyway, I forgot to clarify something with you yesterday.” She suddenly became serious, making me feel nervous. “What is it?” I don’t know why, but my heart is pounding faster now. “Well...” She bit her lower lip. I was starting to feel annoyed because of her teasing. But even so, I almost held my breath as I waited for what she would say next. “Only Travis will stay here for almost two weeks for his vacation. After the shoot, all of us will come back to Manila already. So, you will be the only one to accommodate him on his trips. Don’t worry about your fee. We can talk about it with our manager.” I gasped. To be honest, I’m not concerned about the payment for my services. I hadn’t even thought about it. The only thing I wanted to understand from what she said was that only Travis and I would be left here for almost two weeks. I was determined to carry out my plan. But I didn’t know why I felt like running away as soon as I found out that they would be leaving us here. It’s like digging my own grave. Before I could even react, I was interrupted by a familiar voice. “What the hell is she doing here?” I was caught off guard the moment I heard his familiar voice. Slowly, I looked up, only to be met with his glaring eyes. My lips tightened. Truth be told, I don’t really know how to explain to him why I am here. And I’m afraid that once he finds out, he might just push me away again. Although I won’t allow it to happen.
