Chapter 3 School rawr XD

The car came to a halt at the school gate, and Hara stepped out without expressing any gratitude to the driver. Uncertain about the location of her class, she arrived quite early to ensure she had enough time to find it. Additionally, she used this opportunity to familiarize herself with the school's layout, aiming to avoid getting lost in the future.
With her sharp memory and keen sense of direction, Hara quickly memorized the layout of the school. By the time she reached her classroom, a light sheen of sweat adorned her forehead. However, this added a touch of charm to her appearance, as her rosy cheeks and delicate baby hairs lightly clinging to her skin, making her look even more beautiful. The moment Hara entered the classroom, a once lively and bustling atmosphere suddenly transformed into an eerie silence.
Upon entering the classroom, Hara observed the startled gazes of her classmates before proceeding to her designated seat. As whispers circulated among them, one classmate uttered, "She's still here?" Another chimed in, "I thought she had already transferred to another school."
Despite the murmurs, Hara remained unfazed, resolutely continuing her steps. Recalling the novel's description, she knew her designated seat was beside the window. As she noticed the only vacant seat available, she settled down and focused on minding her own business.
The school bell resonated throughout the classroom, signaling the start of the class.A few minutes later, a teacher entered the room, bringing an end to the lingering whispers. "Good morning, class. Today, we will have a brief test," the teacher announced as he set his bag on the table. "The scores you receive on this exam will be counted as an additional mark for the final grade." He glanced up at the classroom but unintentionally made eye contact with Hara. Instantly, he averted his gaze and focused back on his notes.
"Best of luck," the teacher added in a brief tone.
As the papers were being distributed by the teacher, a girl seated behind Hara whispered to her friend beside her, "Do you think she can answer this time?" Her words carried a hint of meanness. "Shush, she can hear you," her friend responded, hushing her. They shared a chuckle, clearly finding amusement in their conversation.
Hara paid no mind to their conversation. Her focus was solely on how she should navigate this new world and ensure her own survival. Moreover, in her previous life, she had been an outstanding student, often helping others with challenging subjects as a tutor. With a glimmer of confidence in her eyes, she knew without a doubt that she could tackle this exam successfully. She delicately picked up her pen and proceeded to answer each question on the test with swiftness and accuracy.
The school day continued without any major issues. When the lunch bell rang, the majority of students headed to the cafeteria, while a few chose to eat their packed lunches in the classroom. However, Hara wasn't feeling hungry due to the stress she was experiencing. Overwhelmed, she rested her head on the table, pretending to sleep, and closed her eyes for a brief moment of rest.
"She's not gonna hit someone today, right?" a hushed whisper reached Hara's ears.
Her ears instantly perked up upon hearing the conversation, a hundred percent sure that they are talking about her. Another voice agreed. "It must be because of last week, right?" the voice continued.
"Well, when she was hitting a girl in the valley, the girl's friend intervened," the voice revealed. "This wasn't known to a lot of people, but did you know that the friend is actually Yuto, and the girl is a junior two years younger than us named Ji-Eun?" the girl shared. The person she was speaking to gasped in surprise.
Remaining in her feigned sleep state, Hara's thoughts raced as she heard the names "Yuto" and "Ji-Eun." Those names struck a chord within her. Ji-Eun was the female lead in the story she found herself in, and Yuto was her childhood friend and the second love interest. Her eyebrows twitched as she tried to recall the plot of the novel. "Ji-Eun, hitting, Yuto intervened," she repeated in her mind. Suddenly, it clicked, and her memory resurfaced. "Ah!" She shot up from her pretended sleep, startling the two girls who were gossiping in the process. It dawned on her that in one part of the story, 'Hara' had bullied Ji-Eun upon discovering her interaction with the male lead, Shen Lu.
Yuto witnessed the incident and swiftly came to Ji-Eun's rescue. He promptly reported the incident to the teachers. Despite Hara's family's wealth, Yuto's family held more influence, leading to Hara facing consequences for her actions for the first time in her life. In the novel, Hara had always been able to bully her classmates without facing any repercussions due to her privileged background. However, this incident dealt a significant blow to her ego. Furthermore, in the novel, her classmates were no longer as intimidated by her after the incident, dealing yet another blow to her ego. Instead of humbling her, it fueled her rage even further to the protagonists even more.
After making a small commotion, she felt a bit embarrassed. She glanced back at the people who were still staring at her in surprise before turning her gaze forward and discreetly slipped out of the classroom to go to the restroom. In the restroom, she splashed her face with cold water repeatedly, trying to bring herself some clarity. As she stared back at her reflection in the mirror, a sigh escaped her lips, laden with a mix of frustration and resignation. Upon exiting the restroom, she suddenly felt a firm grip on her arm, pulling her to the side. A man appeared, leading her to a secluded area where few students walked there.
The man exhaled audibly, then turned around to face her. "I noticed you wandering around the school earlier," he said, his tone cold and confrontational. He backed her into a corner, leaving Hara feeling trapped. Her mind spun in chaos as this was the first time she had been in such close proximity to a man other than her brother, especially one who was exceptionally handsome. Hara instinctively turned her head, avoiding direct eye contact, and wrapped her arms around herself. It wasn't out of intimidation, but rather a concern that if she held his gaze for too long, she might find herself falling in love.
As she tried to walk away, her mouth moved on its own, uttering, "None of your damn business." She attempted to distance herself from the situation, uncertain whether this man was Shen Lu or Yuto. However, before she could take another step, he warned her, "I've warned you." He approached her, whispering in her ear, "If you lay a hand on her again, I'll ensure that both you and your family suffer." The words sent a chill down her spine. Without wasting a moment, she hastily made her way back to the classroom, almost as if running for her life. "God help me, Yuto is truly terrifying, ʃ (⌇ຶД⌇ຶ)" she thought, her heart pounding in her chest.
