Episode 23
★Benita's POV★
Finally, I had the opportunity to achieve my desires. I approached Tina with the intention of separating her from David and disappearing forever. I could sense Tina's growing fear, which was her weakness.
While I was nearing the car, I suddenly felt a strong connection, indicating that Kate was currently in danger. Initially, I considered ignoring it and proceeded to take David from Tina, who was visibly distressed and breathing heavily.
However, this intense feeling compelled me to address Kate's situation, as it could potentially pose a threat to my own existence. Despite that, I had decided to spare Tina's life. My plan was to complete my task before she even arrived home.
With a firm gaze, I transformed into the wind and swiftly headed towards home. As Tina tearfully began to drive home as well.
★Zara's POV★
It's payback time! I'm not just going after Bethel and Benita; I'm coming for all those who made my life miserable on Earth.
So, we were prepared to attack when a heavy rain suddenly started pouring down. The city was also battered by strong winds during the rain, which only added to the intensity.
It was as if a massive wave emerged from the ground in front of Kate's house. As soon as it receded, the three of us stood there – Naza, my mother who claimed to work for me in my kingdom, and myself.
"I want you guys to stay here and wait for me!" I instructed the others, and they nodded in agreement.
I boldly stepped inside the house, where I found Benita and Kate engaged in a discussion. It seemed they were disagreeing about something.
Both of them were taken aback when they saw me enter, adorned in my golden dress, radiating beauty that lit up the room.
Looking at the expression on Benita's face, I wasn't surprised that she finally realized I was the person she had been searching for all this time. She had wasted her life pursuing the wrong individual, and she probably thought she could still overpower me.
"Hmm, you've spent all this time chasing the wrong person, and you still didn't figure it out?"
"How feeble you are," I taunted, causing Benita to turn her face towards me, acknowledging that she was indeed the one I referred to.
Kate, who had no idea what was happening, continued to observe me in astonishment.
"What is she talking about? Have you gone mad? My house isn't for a psychiatric patient, so please leave!" Kate yelled, attempting to approach me and push me away.
Although I knew she assumed I had come to ask her for money, little did she know that I had come to end her life.
"If you're not afraid, try coming closer to me," I challenged her as she attempted to step nearer, causing her to become fearful and move backward.
She never advanced any further. "If I heard correctly, I wasted my time chasing the wrong person, right?" Benita asked, taking a step closer.
I smirked and moved around the house effortlessly, as if it were my own domain, my golden shoes emitting a delightful sound with each step I took.
"Yes, that's what I said," I finally replied. "So, you've decided to make it easier for me by surrendering yourself. Well, thank you," Benita said, smiling. However, I was certain she had no idea who she was standing against.
So, when she made that statement, I chuckled and created a sharp blade using water from my hand. It froze within a minute, becoming incredibly strong. I pointed it at her and asked, "What gives you that idea?"
I was prepared for a fight while Kate stood there, stunned by what she was witnessing.
Benita, on the other hand, was equally taken aback because she finally realized that I had become the true goddess she had been trying to steal from.
"Surprise...! Now you're standing before The Queen Of The Coast. The power is mine, and you can't take it!" I declared, with Kate looking at Benita.
Kate should have realized by now that Benita had been deceiving her, but she was blinded by hatred and unable to see the truth. That's why I couldn't spare her life.
"Benita, what is she talking about!?" Kate questioned, turning to Benita, whose eyes had turned dark.
"Don't worry, I'll put an end to her," Benita replied, transforming into air and charging at me.
As she approached, I created a protective barrier which she smashed into with great speed. She fell to the ground, reverting back to her human form, and I swiftly closed in on her, pointing my sword at her head.
"I can't battle you because you are no match. A goddess cannot fight a mere human who steals people's power in order to become a goddess," I explained as she groaned in pain.
"Although I'll give you some credit for reaching this level, it's time to say goodbye," I continued, slowly stabbing her neck.
She tried to grab my sword, but it froze her hand instantly. I forcefully pulled out my sword, shattering her fingers like glass.
"No! No! You evil..." Kate began to speak, but I couldn't allow her to continue. I swiftly beheaded her, blood spilling onto the floor.
Just then, Tina rushed into the house and found her lifeless mother lying there.
She was completely taken aback, I'm sure she was shocked to see me alive and present. Her eyes widened even more as she noticed her mother's head and body in different positions on the floor, blood covering everything.
I felt a sense of sorrow for her as tears filled her eyes. Slowly, she collapsed onto her mother's body, crying uncontrollably.
"Zara, what have you done!" she exclaimed, lifting her head from her mother's lifeless body.
"Zara! Is this how you repay me for everything I've done for you?" she asked as I took a deep breath with my eyes closed.
"I'm sorry, Tina..." I began to say, but she rudely interrupted me.
"Sorry for yourself! You're so cruel! I hate you, Zara!!" She started hurling harsh words at me, and my anger started to build.
"Tina, please stop!" I yelled at her, but she only raised her voice even louder. "I won't stop, you fool!" she yelled back.
I knew that if I stayed there, I might do something I'd regret, so I tried to walk away. But she said something unforgivable.
"You worthless creature! You should've died just like your useless mom!" she said, and my memories flashed back to the sad death of my mother.
In a fit of anger, I turned and swiftly cut off her head. Blood spilled in the air as her head rolled across the sky before finally landing.
Her blood stained my face. "No! No! Tina!" I cried with tears streaming down my face, throwing away my sword and rushing towards her because I did that all of a sudden, it was my anger that caused it.
But what could I do? I had already separated her head from her body, so it was impossible to change anything. I picked up my sword and began walking away. That's when I heard the sound of a baby crying from behind me.
I looked back and saw David crying on top of the couch. I went over, picked him up, and he stays calm immediately.
I carried him and stepped out of the house, tears still flowing from my eyes. My fellow sisters were waiting for me outside when I emerged. As I glanced back at the house, old memories flooded my mind once again.
Then, I snapped my fingers, causing water to explode and tear the house into pieces. By that time, we had already returned to our kingdom.
