Episode 22

★Zara's POV★
I was in the middle of a discussion with my mother, whom I was surprised to see.
"Mother, are you saying that you are just my biological mother in this world?" I asked her, my gaze fixated on her, unable to look away because she seems so much younger now.
"Yes, in this place, I am one of your humble servants. This is your realm, a kingdom that you created," she explained as I surveyed the kingdom once again.
"So, can you explain why we have to go to Earth and live there for a while?" I asked, feeling a bit confused.
"Hmm, you have allowed the problems of the world to become your own, and it has caused you to forget who you truly are," she said, drawing closer to me.
"So... you went there to save your people. You saw a vision of your kingdom being attacked and conquered by enemies in the future," she continued, and I listened intently to her words.
"Which we must find a way to prevent it. You have to visit the mortal world, living as one of them," she explained. I nodded, realizing that memories were starting to come back to me.
However, doubt still lingered in my mind. After her statement, I smirked and gazed into her eyes. "So now that I'm back, have we found a solution?" I inquired.
"Yes, my Queen. Bethel and Benita were the ones who came to wage war against us. We must take action to eliminate them," she replied, taking a deep breath.
"Remember, you are the goddess of wealth, beauty, and the seas. With your powers surpassing theirs, if you confront them now, we stand a 100% chance of victory."
"And finally, the almighty goddess of vengeance!" she exclaimed.
★ Tina's POV★
"Hey, what on earth are you doing? Come on! This is the perfect time to attack!" I shouted at Berry, who was just sitting there, watching me.
We had been waiting here until it was already dark outside, it's night time. I was very certain that my mom would be looking for us now, that is if she had returned home.
"I'm sorry, but I don't think I'm interested in betraying them any longer. I still have a better position in the realm, so there's no need," he said, leaving me in shock.
I was frozen in place. If only I had known that he was just trying to hold me back, I could have found another way out.
So, I stepped closer to him, knelt down, and began to beg. "Please, you can't do this to me. They're going to kill me, please!" I pleaded, desperation thick in my voice.
"Yes, of course. They are planning to kill you. I know that, just wait until the time comes, and you will be killed," he replied callously. Tears welled up in my eyes.
So, this is how I lost my brother and potentially my own life too. Life is just so tragic.
Anyway, I don't regret it. I came searching for her, to save my sister Zara. If this is how I am meant to end, then so be it.
I was still wrestling with my thoughts when we heard a noise and a door caught our attention.
After a few moments, no other sounds followed, and we assumed it was nothing unusual. I looked at Barry, who was still sitting there, seemingly unconcerned.
But just then, the door suddenly broke down, and a woman walked into the house. "Aunty!" I called out in surprise when I realized it was Benita who had come to my rescue.
Without wasting a moment, I ran to take cover behind her. From what she had already done, I could confidently say that she was truly extraordinary.
Dust was swirling in the air, and even parts of the wall that held the door were now in ruins. It was truly astonishing.
"So," she said, glancing at me briefly before turning her attention back to Barry.
"Since I've dealt with them, I assume you were expecting me, weren't you?" Aunty Benita asked Barry, who attempted to lunge at her with a punch.
But she effortlessly caught him in her palm, holding his throat as she lifted him off the ground. I couldn't believe my eyes.
I watched as Barry struggled, eventually losing consciousness. Benita gently laid him back down.
"So, where is David?" She asked, as tears streamed down my face.
"They took him to their inner room earlier in the afternoon. I don't think they're still there," I replied. Benita grabbed my hand, and in an instant, we turned into a gust of wind.
Together, we moved towards the inner room, causing objects inside the house to shatter into pieces with the force of the wind.
★Benita's POV★
Finally, we managed to break through their defenses and entered the room where they were hiding.
They were all shocked and terrified to see me there, quickly preparing to fight.
"That's my brother!" Tina exclaimed, her voice trembling with fear as she pointed at the cave where they had imprisoned him and cast some sort of enchantment on him.
As I glanced at Tina, tears streaming down her face as she looked at her brother in such a helpless state, I couldn't bring myself to say anything to her. She had no idea that death awaited her after this.
I knew that our enemies might not be defeated yet, as the process of restoration is not something that happens overnight. If interrupted, it starts all over again.
"Benita, listen to me. You're after the wrong person, the person..." Bethel tried to speak, but I silenced him with a blast of dark energy, sending him flying backwards.
Seizing the opportunity, Tina quickly moved to retrieve her brother from the cave and was about to pass by me when one of the men lunged at me.
I swiftly evaded his attack, but he was now heading towards Tina, who was passing behind me. Acting on instinct, I grabbed him by his shirt and flung him towards the others.
Tina can escape for now; I'll deal with her later. Let me finish off these guys first.
One of them attempted to attack me from behind, but without even looking, I seized his hand and swiftly turned, using the force to pierce his eyes with my darkened finger. He let out a scream of pain.
Another one charged at me with a sword, but I used his own head to block the strike, resulting in his head being severed from his body.
In an instant, I vanished and reappeared behind the one holding the sword. I disarmed him, swiftly taking hold of the weapon and drove it into his back.
I noticed that they were creating duplicates of themselves, but I reacted quickly. Transforming into a gust of wind, I unleashed a destructive storm within the room, causing the house to tremble and collapse. And then, just as suddenly as I had arrived, I vanished, leaving them to meet their demise.
★ Tina's POV★
Finally, I had found my brother. I was inside my car, driving home when I heard a sudden rush of air from above. To my surprise, Benita landed gracefully right in front of my car.
I quickly hit the brakes and called out to her, "Come in!" Hoping that she wanted to join me on the way home.
However, a wave of fear washed over me when I saw the sword gripped tightly in her hand, and the intense and dangerous expression on her face left me speechless.
