Chapter 73 Pak Karta
Santika's body bounced hard... the man slid swiftly through the tops of the trees. And when her body was receding, a shadow flashed quickly grabbed Santika's body, then disappeared like a light that disappeared without a trace.
Meanwhile, the One-Eyed Devil's body also jumped hard against the stone wall, causing a tremendous impact... then slammed to the ground. The One-Eyed Devil's body didn't move for a moment, then he was seen shaking his head briefly while trying to get up. His body staggered, and slowly was able to stand up straight again. His mouth was full of blood, and black blood flowed from his nose.
"Are you okay?" asked Banulaga who immediately approached the moment the One-Eyed Devil's body hit the stone wall.
"No," said the One-Eyed Demon. "How's Santika?" "Is lost."
"Is lost...?"
"Yes, somebody has grabbed her body And took him away."
"Then, Mega Mauve?" Banulaga gasped in surprise, then....
"Aaah. !"
Banulaga gasped. Just when he turned to Mega Lembayung, an accomplice collapsed with a dagger stuck in his neck. Then a body with a black mask grabbed Mega Violet's body. Banulaga suppressed his anger, the Black Masked Man appeared again. This time he brought the body of the girl he had been after. The three remaining accomplices just stared at the Black Masked Man shouldering Mega Violet's body at high speed
"God damn it!" The One-Eyed Demon cursed without being able to do anything about it.
Banulaga and One-Eyed Devil really feel like they're being played. Two people appeared at once unexpectedly and thwarted his intentions.
"I'm sure it was the Sacred Eagle Warrior who snatched Santika's body earlier. This time two of our enemies came at the same time, the Sacred Eagle Warrior and the Black Masked Man." Banulaga spoke with his lips tightly clenched and his teeth chattering with anger.
"Heh! Hurry up and find Mega Violet!" Banulaga snapped at his men. The three people who were ordered moved quickly towards Mega Violet who was taken away by the Man in the Black Mask. They can do nothing but carry out their master's orders, even though their guts have completely disappeared.
"I'm afraid you have serious internal injuries," said Banulaga when they were alone.
"I'm okay. I'm actually Santika's safety," said the One-Eyed Devil.
"Even if I don't care!" snorted Banulaga. "After all he is your sister, Banulaga. I'm sorry
has cast the spell 'Oceanic Rock Punch.' The enchantment is very powerful, so far no one has been able to survive being hit by it."
"Ah, never mind. The important thing now, we have to get Mega Violet," said Banulaga, not caring about Santika anymore.
"You just look for it. I want to meditate in three days," said the One-Eyed Demon.
Banulaga gaped at Seta Mata Satu's refusal. He couldn't do anything to see the big tall man pass in front of him. Banulaga stomped his feet in annoyance after the One-Eyed Devil's back disappeared behind the dense trees.
"Humph! Why didn't I just kill Santika earlier!" Banulaga snorted fiercely.
Banulaga turned his body. His legs swung towards the horse which was tethered to a tree. He knew the horse belonged to Santika. A brown, stocky horse, a gift from his father when Santika passed the first level exam in kanuragan science.
For a moment Banulaga was pensive holding the reins of his younger brother's horse. He still couldn't understand how Santika, who had studied kanuragan and supernatural powers from the same teacher since childhood, was able to match the level of intelligence of the One-Eyed Devil. Even more so when he saw Santika cast the spell 'Bracelet Dispels Lightning'. Because as far as he knew, Santika had never studied that science. And that white marble bracelet...? Didn't the magic bracelet belong to their father? He didn't know how Santika could get the heirloom that she also wanted.
"Whoops!"
Banulaga jumped onto the horse's back, then chased him quickly away from the edge of the lake towards Malayasati Village. He spurred his horse like crazy, so that the dust billowed flying.
*
No one knows where their helpers brought Santika and Mega Lembayung went. Also, Pak Karta, who was half dead, was forced by Banulaga and his people to tell where his grandson was now.
Pak Karta's face and whole body were covered in blood. His hands were tied to the front porch of his house. His legs were weak and no longer able to support the weight of his body. His whole face had turned bluish and full - bruised bumps. His clothes were torn apart, revealing the scarred skin of the rattan lashes.
"It's easy for me to kill you, old fart. It's as easy as I turn my hand. But you are my future mother-in-law, you will be happy if Mega Purple becomes my wife. Tell me where your child is?" Banulaga tries to win Pak Karta's heart.
Pak Karta remains silent. His head limp helplessly. He was no longer able to utter a single word. Banulaga's words seemed to have been blown away by the wind. And Banulaga became furious.
"Where's Mega?" Banulaga snapped angrily.
Slowly Pak Karta's head lifted, he seemed to have strength. But his eyes remained dim, even though behind them radiated a gleam of hatred that was suffocating to the bottom of his heart.
"Phuih!"
Pak Karta spit out saliva mixed with blood from his mouth. The spit mixed with fresh and thick blood squirted right into Banulaga's face.
Banulaga gasped for a moment. Then his hand quickly flew to the wrinkled face several times. Fresh blood spurted and wet Banulaga's hands. Then the old man's head drooped again.
"Tie him up and drag him around the village! Let everyone know what will happen to him if he dares to oppose Banulaga!"
Two strong-bodied men immediately moved. They untied Pak Karta's hands, then tied them back with a long and strong rope. Another was already on horseback with the end of the rope in his hand.
Banulaga jumped onto the back of his white horse. For a moment he wiped the remaining blood that still stuck to his face. Then with just one gesture, people
The one holding the end of the rope shook his horse following the steps of the fast-moving Banulaga horse.
The old man's fate was truly in Banulaga's hands. He was dragged around the village by the eyes of the residents who were so sorry to see him. Those who saw him could only stroke their chests, unable to watch the poor old body any longer. No one can say for sure whether the old decrepit body can still breathe. The blood and dust that stuck together in his body could no longer recognize his condition
Suddenly the rope that bound the old man broke, when his body was dragged past the edge of the forest. The old body rolled over with his hands still tightly bound. The Banulaga people who accompanied him immediately jumped off their horses.
They immediately surrounded a figure that was none other than the Black Masked Man. Their drawn machetes seemed ready to slash the head of the Black Masked Man who was already standing near Mr. Parta's body which lay helpless.
"Hmmm..., in this way you have just arrived in a manly manner, even though you don't dare to show your real nose, Black Masked Man. I don't need to bother looking for you to avenge my father's death, also your stupidity failed to kill me."
"Shut your mouth, Banulaga! Later when the time comes, you will know who I really am. Now you are only brave with people who are weak and helpless. Hm..., I want to know your true intelligence, Banulaga."
"Bastard! Kill him!" Banulaga shouted loudly with blood boiling.
The Banulaga people who surrounded the Black Masked Man moved swiftly But as fast as lightning, the Black Masked Man soared into the air, then landed - in a place quite far from Pak Karta's body. The Banulaga people's machetes only flashed and slashed the wind. It then moved swiftly towards the Black Masked Man who had stood back up.
"Hiaaat... Hiya...!"
The Banulaga people immediately attacked the Black Masked Man. Receiving continuous attacks from all directions, the black masked person dodged and jumped while occasionally returning attacks. The Black Masked Man fought without even taking out his trusty dagger. But until a few strokes passed, not a single blade that flashed like lightning touched his skin.
"Free!" the black masked person suddenly shouted.
Like lightning, his hand moved quickly to reach one of his closest bullies. His fast hand movements could not be avoided anymore. One of the mobsters screamed in surprise, and his machete flew into the air. He felt his wrist break and it hurt.
He hadn't even done anything yet, suddenly the Black Masked Man's foot landed directly on his chest. There was no mercy for the mobster, whose guts were big enough, toppled to the ground with his mouth spewing blood. And at the same time, another person waved his machete from the left side. The masked man spun his body around with his legs swung rapidly.
thump!
The feet of the masked person landed on his stomach, then his right hand grabbed the hand of the person holding the machete. With one bend, the hand broke. The black masked person's hand quickly grabbed the machete that had almost fallen to the ground. Then....
Bet!
"Aaahh...!" shrill screams were heard. The black masked person quickly released his clamps, and his assailant - immediately collapsed with his neck almost severed by his own machete, which had now changed hands. In one fell swoop, two of his attackers lost their lives. Now only six people are still surrounded.
"You guys better go, I'm too lazy to be a human butcher. Let your master settle his own business with me!" snorted the black masked person.
"Attack, kill him!" shouted Banulaga commanding. "Yeah...!"
Suddenly one of them jumped while waving his machete. The man in the black mask immediately dodged and tilted his body slightly, and he slashed the machete in his right hand towards his stomach. A groaning scream was heard, followed by a collapsed body spouting fresh blood from its torn stomach. The black masked man crossed his stolen machete in front of his chest.
"Seaang...!" Banulaga again ordered his men.
Instantly the remaining five people rushed forward. This time it was clear that the Black Masked Man was no match for them. In a short time two more people fell down bathed in blood.
Banulaga began to show his cowardly character. He immediately rushed his horse to leave that place. The masked man snorted in annoyance. The three men who attacked him more and more did not allow him to chase Banulaga.
"Sorry, I have no business with you guys!" shouted the Black Masked man, then his body bounced, spun in the air, and landed right near Pak Karta's body. As fast as lightning he grabbed the helpless old body and carried him away leaving his opponents.
"Come on, come back!" one person exclaimed. The three of them immediately jumped onto their horses' backs, leaving five bodies lying lifeless. Several residents who saw the fight from a distance were so gripped, then breathed a sigh of relief when Pak Karta's old body was grabbed quickly by his savior.
*
Two days Pak Karta was unconscious. And now on the third day, he began to open his eyes slowly, then closed them again when the sunlight that slipped from the door of the house hit his face. His head then began to look twitching. His consciousness seemed to be recovering.
"Grandfather..." a soft greeting sounded in his ear.
Slowly the old man's eyelids with a frail body opened. He saw a beautiful face smiling softly in front of him. Pak Karta's lips then smiled tremblingly. For a moment his eyes stared closely at the face that had given him hope and zest for life.
"Mega..." Pak Karta hissed weakly.
"Oh, Grandpa…," Mega Purple could no longer hold back her tears.
Mega dropped her face hugging the old man's body. At the same time, the door opened and a handsome figure appeared approaching two people who were embracing each other.
"Are you awake, Grandpa?" he asked softly.
Pak Karta smiled and nodded weakly at the handsome young man who was still standing beside the bamboo halls. His old eyes circled around the scene in front of him. A bamboo-walled cubicle that is not that big, but looks clean and tidy. Her gaze then shifted back to the faces of Mega and the handsome young man alternately.
"Sorry for my brother's harsh treatment, for Grandfather to suffer such a sad fate," said the handsome young man softly.
Pak Karta shook his head weakly. His pale lips curved into a smile. Gradually he was able to re-record the events that happened to him. Previously he no longer knew what happened after a black shadow lifted his body. And all he knows now is that his body is lying weak, then his grandson Mega Lembayung and a handsome young man who is none other than Santika are nearby.
"Where are we now, Mega?" Pak Karta's voice asked weakly.
"In a safe place, Grandpa," said Mega softly.
Then Pak Karta saw another figure who also had a handsome face, wearing a white waistcoat and a sword with a bird's head handle that was none other than the Sacred Eagle Warrior.
"Thank you, you must have saved me," said Pak Karta.
"Not me, Grandpa," said Rangga as he turned his face to Mega Lembayung's face, as if asking Pak Karta's grandson to explain what actually happened. Mega is quick to respond.
"Sorry, Grandpa. It was someone dressed in all black who brought Grandpa here. He was also the one who helped me when Kakang Santika and I were almost killed by Banulaga and his people, but before I could say thank you, the person who was dressed all in black left.. .," Mega explained softly.
"That's right, Grandpa," continued Santika. "And I was the one who was saved by this Sacred Eagle Warrior...." Santika then pointed at Rangga, the Sacred Eagle Warrior only smiled modestly, which was returned by a nod and a faint smile from Pak Karta.
"Thank you, Rangga. For the second time we are indebted to you," said Pak Karta.
"It is our duty to help each other, Grandpa," Rangga said the same words when he first helped his grandfather and grandson.
Pak Karta returned his smile. A moment later, silence enveloped them. The four people behind the bamboo booth seemed to be contemplating what had happened so far....
Pak Karta's lips muttered softly, then his face looked towards Santika. Santika then seemed to be waiting for what Pak Karta would say. But for a few moments his lips seemed to be locked, then his eyes turned to his granddaughter, Mega Purple.
"Kakang Santika helped a lot," said Mega Lembayung as if she knew what her grandfather was implying, "...she has provided a room for me to hide in until things are really safe and calm."
"That's right Grandpa. I myself don't like the attitude of my father and Kakang Banulaga, and I don't want Mega Lembayung to become a victim of their savagery," continued Santika.
"Everything has happened, I can't do anything else. Apart from my thanks to you, Santika, and you, Rangga... with the Almighty witness and you three who are here, I also thank the people who have saved me from the rampage of Banulaga who was cruel and had tortured me... please convey my thanks if you meet that person again...," Pak Karta ended his words in a low, squeaky tone.
"Our position is also getting more difficult, because Big Brother Banulaga no longer sees me as a brother. He already sees me as his enemy," Santika confided.
Rangga, who had been silent all this time, had no power to contain his heart.
"That's right, Grandpa said. I also understand your position, Santika," for a moment Rangga turned to Santika's face, "... but we must keep fighting for truth and justice... for that please allow me to excuse myself."
Pak Karta, Mega Lembayung and Santika were surprised to hear this.
"Where are you going?" asked Mega Lembayung "Believe me, I will still try to fight together
you guys... and I don't think we should give Banulaga a chance to regroup. ,"
the three people were stunned for a moment, and their lips were speechless as they watched the Sacred Eagle Warrior leave.
For a few moments the three people who were in the bamboo room stared at each other. They confirmed Rangga's words... that they had to face many challenges, and they had to get ready to return...
