Chapter 78 Nyi Sukirah
The moonlight in the silence of the night that covers nature looks so beautiful and invites a million charms. But unfortunately, the full moon was no longer able to attract the interest of the villagers to enjoy it. They had departed and anchored in dreamland, except for a handsome young man who stood staring out of the wide open window of his inn. With his eyes shining clear, the young man looked at the face of the moon which emitted golden light. Occasionally heard his breath that sounded long and heavy"You've been standing there since earlier. Is something bothering you, Big Brother?" Pandan Wangi's soft voice broke the silence of the inn room. The young man turned his back against the window, a smile playing on his lips. His eyes looked at Pandan Wangi who was lying on the bed. Long bushy black hair, beautifully loose, adds to the charm that the girl already has. Pandan Wangi returned the smile, and his eyes shone with warmth. The togetherness that she always went through, made the girl no longer feel embarrassed and awkward being alone in a room with a handsome young man who was none other than Rangga. He felt no longer have the distance with the man. He also won't refuse if Rangga kisses him. But every time that feeling stirs up and seduces in his chest, every time he has to swallow his disappointment. Rangga seemed to have no desire to do so.Pandan Wangi moved his body. The graceful movement of the body slightly made Rangga's heart beat faster. Pandan Wangi seemed to be lying on his side on purpose, so that the curves of his hips were so beautiful to the eye. As well as on purpose, the girl left the slit on her chest slightly open. Her bloated breasts peered out invitingly."If you're sleepy, just sleep," said Rangga trying to divert his feelings."You're not sleeping, Brother?" Pandan Wangi's soft voice "No," Rangga answered slowly. The Sacred Eagle Warrior turned his body, looked back at the outside."Since returning this afternoon, you seem to have changed. I'm sure you have something on your mind," said Pandan Wangi as he shifted. He sat hugging his knees on the edge of the bed."Are you sure?" asked Rangga while turning his body back"Do I have to guess?"Rangga shrugged his shoulders, and turned his body back to face the window. His hands propped on the open window. What was implied in his heart was admitting the truth of Pandan Wangi's suspicions. The events that Ki Sukirah experienced are still imprinted and shadowed in his heart, not to mention the attitude of his daughter who was curt and seemed to not consider what she had done for her father. And everything that bothers his mind, Pandan Wangi really pays attention to. The girl has sharp instincts and feelings. Togetherness has produced such feelings between them."This afternoon I heard that some people were looking for you. They didn't really mention your name, but from the characteristics they said, I'm sure it was Kakang who they were looking for!" Pandan Wangi said."How many people?" asked Rangga still looking out through the window. "That's a lot, there are about ten of them."The girl got up and approached Ranga. He stood beside the Sacred Eagle Warrior. His gaze was also directed outside which was covered in moonlight that seemed to be getting dim. Silence, no one to be seen out there. Only a small lamp can be seen twinkling from the houses around this inn.The silence of the night was suddenly broken by the sound of hoofs. And where Rangga and Pandan Wangi were standing, it was clear that a group of people on horseback seemed to be controlling and monitoring the surroundingsThe group of horsemen stopped right in front of the inn. Spotted by the two young warriors, one of them jumped down from his horse. The old man in red stepped into the inn. While the others waited on the backs of their respective horses. It was silent for a few moments outside the inn. Rangga kept watching him until the man came out again accompanied by the innkeeper."Come on, let's go back. The devil child isn't here!" said the old man in red who was none other than Demung Pari. "Remember, Ki Parung. If you see the person whose characteristics I have mentioned earlier, you will quickly tell me, understand?!""I will definitely report it, Gusti," said Ki Parung, the owner of the inn.Demung Pari jumped lightly onto her horse's back. The group of ten people immediately rushed their horses leaving Ki Parung who was still standing watching them leave."They are looking for you, Kakang," said Pandan Wangi, who had been paying attention."Hm..." Rangga just muttered briefly. In the dim moonlight, Rangga can still recognize, one of them is a person who had clashed with him, after failing to persecute Ki Sukirah. Rangga frowned. Judging from their clothes, they looked like royal soldiers. Are they royalty? which kingdom? This village is nothing more than a duchy."Of course there is a problem, to look for you," said Pandan Wangi half muttering."Indeed..." Rangga sighed slowly. "Why didn't you tell me?"Rangga smiled again, a smile that revealed temptation. As if giving a puzzle that Pandan Wangi has to guess himself. He turned and walked toward the bed. With a long sigh, the Sacred Eagle Warrior lay down on a bed covered with a pink cloth."Tomorrow I will tell you, now I want to sleep," said Rangga while closing his eyes."Hehhh..." Pandan Wangi shrugged his shoulders. He immediately stepped closer to the bed.***Meanwhile at Ki Sukirah's house, the rain of crying sounded heartbreaking. Wulan was crying on her bed, also Nyi Sukirah who sat on the edge of the bed. The person they loved so much and became the foundation of their life, was forcibly dragged away by Wira Perakin's people.Ki Sukirah was powerless. He tried to defy what Kebo Rimang had done who ordered him to face Wira Perakin, and as a result, the old man's body was constantly receiving punches and kicks."It's all because of me..." Wulan groaned between her sobs."Never mind, Wulan," Nyi Sukirah sobbed. "You're right, we are small people. But we have pride. Mother herself is actually not willing if you accept Gusti Wira Perakin's proposal." "But, Mom... Dad...," Wulan's voice caught in her throat."Your father was indeed a knight man. He was willing to die to defend the honor of his family. We'd better just pray that your father survives," said Nyi Sukirah trying to be brave."Mom..." Wulan got up and hugged her mother. Again he broke into tears in his mother's arms.Nyi Sukirah let her daughter cry. While Nyi Sukirah's tears were dry, nothing else could flow down her cheeks. The experience of life and the long suffering she and her husband had gone through, made her unable to cry for too long!Wulan slowly let go of his hug. He wiped away his tears with the hem of his shirt. Her puffy eyes were red and looked straight into the eyes of the old woman who had given birth to and raised her. No more sobs escaped her lips. Her mother's determination seemed to make her realize that fate doesn't need to be mourned, but must be changed as hard as she can with her own abilities!"Dry your tears, Wulan. Strengthen your heart to accept life's trials. I believe that God Almighty will help his weak people," said Nyi Sukirah quietly. His pale wrinkled lips pulled into a quivering smile.Again Wulan dried her tears. He tried his best not to cry anymore. His mother's gentle words seemed to wake him from a nightmare. He realized that he shouldn't keep crying because everything that happened started with himself. He should be more steadfast and tough to face all this. Wulan cured herself who was so weak. Dare to take and determine his attitude but helpless and weak from the consequences."Forgive Wulan, ma'am," Wulan sighed softly. "Never mind, sooner or later Wira Perakin will definitely take you too.""No! I'd rather die than be the wife of the old Wira Perakin," Wulan growled."That's not the best way, Wulan. Whatever your reason, such a reckless act obviously won't make the people you leave behind feel relieved.""Then what should I do, ma'am?""I don't know, Wulan. Maybe it's best to surrender to God's power.""I will fight them, Mom," Wulan's tone was firm."In what way?" asked Mrs. Sukirah.Wylan was silent. He himself did not know what he was doing. She is well aware of who she is, a village girl who doesn't have any power and supernatural powers. Nyi Sukirah was silent. He understood correctly that his son's words came from his frantic heart.Wulan rose from the bed. He stepped closer to the partially open window. His hand pushed open the shutters a little wider. Her eyes stared straight at the goddess of the night who was full of radiance emitting a beautiful golden light. But in Wulan's eyes, the moonlight was so dim, as if she was mourning the fate that had befallen her."Kang Dimas..." Wulan hissed softly. The girl remembered one name. Yes... only to Dimas can he complain. Only in the young man she loved could she take refuge. Only Dimas is Wulan's only hope that he will be able to overcome the crisis that is now befalling him."Mom..." Wulan called while turning around.Nyi Sukirah looked at her daughter's face which was now starting to shine and there was a light of hope. He was steady with his heart's words.the name Dimas appeared vibrating on his tongue."What is it?" asked Nyi Sukirah softly "Where do you think Kang Dimas is?" Wulan seemed to ask herself."Why do you ask that?" Nyi Sukirah asked did not understand. But the woman's heart could already feel where her son's words were going."I want to look for it, Mom," said Wulan."Wulan..." Nyi Sukirah shook her head. Her motherly instincts were touched by her son's sudden determination. The relationship between Wulan and Dimas is no longer a secret. Everyone knows that. They also know the dark history of Dimas' life. Her sister, the only substitute for her parents who had died, was killed after being raped by five thugs in turn. No one saw what happened, except for Dimas himself.Since the unfortunate incident that happened to his only older sister, Dimas has disappeared from this village. And when people had forgotten the events of fifteen years ago, Dimas reappeared. He came to Ki Sukirah and his family, the family who gave him life, even if it was only for a bite of rice.Ki Sukirah tens of years ago was indeed a person who was quite affluent and respected in his village. But the fate of his life is really like a spinning cart wheel. A tragic fate befell him, he fell into poverty after his property was robbed by Wira Perakin and his people. He had no power to fight back. His house is now used as the residence of Wira Perakin, and Ki Sukirah and his family are forced to live in the rickety hut that used to be occupied by Dimas and his older sister.Remembering that incident, Nyi Sukirah's heart sank again. He wanted to do the same as his son wanted, to die leaving a world that was so cruel to whack him. And it was indeed her husband's fault, Ki Sukirah lost in gambling with Wira Perakin, kept losing and losing, so that poverty now faithfully accompanies her life. And now ferocity is ready to pounce on them, Wira Perakin's anger over his rejection of Wulan's proposal....***Throughout the late night until early morning, Wulan could not even close her eyes for a moment. It's as if there is a power and drive that moves her heart, when her mind is filled with images of Dimas, her lover. Yes, the strength and drive to run away from the reality that she will soon face, to become the wife of Wira Perakin.Just when she heard the sound of a rooster crowing, Wulan crawled out of bed. He sat on the edge of the bed for a moment, then stepped down to the wooden cupboard. Wulan slowly opened her wardrobe, then took out several pieces of clothing, and bundled them with cloth. His heart was made up, he had to leave the land of his birth, leaving his parents who he loved so much!Wulan slowly stepped out of the room. A bundle of clothes and a few provisions slung over his shoulder. He continued walking and stopped in front of his mother's room. Wulan for a moment froze in front of the door of the room."Forgive Wulan, Mom. Wulan was forced to leave Mother," he whispered softly. The girl placed her hand on the door, then she turned and stepped out. Cold air covered in mist greeted the slender girl's body, as soon as her feet touched the ground outside the house. With determination, Wulan walked quickly out of her house. He stopped for a moment and looked back, then kept running north, where his lover had gone. Leaving himself to avenge his brother's death. The darkness of night still enveloped the surroundings. The sun had not yet appeared. Wulan walked slowly as soon as she reached the edge of the forest that confronted her ahead. His feet shook as he stepped into the dense forest and shrouded in thick fog."Grrr...!""Ah...!" Wulan screamed when suddenly there was a loud growling sound. The girl stood transfixed. His eyes widened wide through the darkness of the night in this early morning. His whole body was shaking drenched in sweat. The growling grew louder and clearer, as if it was getting closer to her."Oh!" Wulan was getting scared when from the bushes a pair of shining eyes could be seen moving towards her.The longer it is, the clearer it becomes. The two shining eyeballs turned out to be the eyes of a huge tiger! The beast growled several times, making Wulan tremble weaker. The tiger crouched down, but a pair of eyeballs kept staring at Wulan, who was getting weaker in fear.Wulan steeled her heart to step back, but the king of the jungle growled awake seeing his potential prey move. Again, the girl squealed. His knees felt weak and could not be moved. Cold sweat dripped down his body. Wulan has resigned herself to what happened to her."Auuummm...!" The tiger roared fiercely. "Help...!" Wulan screamed shrillly. "Please...,"Wulan felt cold sweat all over her body. He was really scared to see the tiger walking towards him. So....The beast actually jumped at Wulan who was already very scared! And... the girl fell limply before the king of the jungle reached her body....Bugs!A ball the size of a baby's head hit the tiger's head, just as its claws almost tore Wulan's skin, which lay unconscious! The king of the jungle growled for a moment, then his body fell to the side, and as fast as lightning, a white shadow flashed and grabbed Wulan's body."Grrr. !" The tiger growled loudly.***
The sunlight pouring in through the door that was not closed tightly hit his face. The warmth that he felt was starting to awaken his consciousness from a long stupor. Wulan slowly opened her eyes, and she was so surprised to realize that she was in a strange place that she had never known before.Wulan's mind began to grope. He began to remember the last incident that happened to him, and suddenly he was already in this place. Little by little the girl inched up, and sat on the edge of the bamboo halls. Her eyes caught the cloth bundle she had brought from home. The girl frowned. His heart was filled with question marks, who could it be that had saved his life and brought him here. Not to mention that he had the chance to guess, the door to the cubicle which was not closed tightly was slowly opened. Wulan edged into a corner. His hands clutched a bundle filled with cloth and a few provisions. The door to the booth was widening. And in the doorway stood a young and handsome man dressed all in white and tight, so that his straight and muscular body was easily recognized by Wulan."Kang...!" Wulan hissed so recognized the man,Wulan immediately jumped and hit the handsome young man. Her tears immediately spilled over to the young man's chest, who was none other than Dimas. The handsome young man was just stroking his girlfriend's hair. For a few moments they just hugged each other, punctuated by the girl's sobs.Dimas let go of the girl's embrace, and led her to sit on the edge of the bed. For a moment they just looked at each other. Dimas gently wiped the tears on her rosy, smooth cheeks. Wulan just let her lover's fingers wipe away her tears."Where have you been, Big Brother? Why don't you come home?" Wulan asked softly."I'm sorry, Wulan. It's not that I don't miss you, but my work isn't finished yet," Dimas said softly"I can't take it anymore, Kakang. I had to run away from home, I want to be with you," Wulan groaned again sobbing."Never mind, now you are safe with me. We can live in peace and quiet in Ani," comforted Dimas, still gentle.A glimmer of a smile appeared on the girl's lips. Dimas replied sweetly too. Gradually their faces, which met each other's eyes, got closer and closer, until Dimas's breath hit warm around Wulan's face. Their two pairs of eyes looked at each other tenderly"Wulan..." Dimas sighed shaking. "Brother...!"Slowly and gently Dimas pressed his lips to the girl's open lips. Wulan's eyes closed and she felt the warmth begin to spread through her body and nerves. His hands wrapped around Dimas' neck, and pressed it tightly, until their lips met together in increasingly bubbling passion. No more words were spoken. There are no sobs of emotion, there is only love and longing that are united in the power of romance that is increasingly hunting. Wulan moaned to feel the pleasure that brought her to fly flying across the sea of romance. The girl's eyes opened and closed, showing her intense lust."Brother...!" Wulan suddenly gasped when she felt Dimas' fingers touch a very sensitive part of her body.Instantly Wulan jerked Dimas' body. The girl was so shocked that almost all of her clothes were off. The girl rushed to clean up her clothes that were a mess and almost made her naked without a single thread on her body."What are you doing?" asked Wulan trembling. "Wulan..., I love you," whispered Dimas as he kissed her.near"But..." Wulan's voice caught in her throat. "You love me too, right?"Wulan could not answer. There's no way she would have left home and come to this place if she didn't love him. But is what Dimas just wanted a measure of his feelings of love and affection. No, he whispered to himself. He didn't want to do the forbidden thing before they were legally bound to become husband and wife. Wulan did not want her life's suffering to continue to prolong, just because she indulged in lust for a moment."I love you, Wulan. I promise, if my determination is reached, I will definitely marry you," Dimas said softly."Kakang..." Wulan's voice caught in her throat again."Okay..." Dimas sighed.Wulan only looked at Dimas who was wearing his clothes again, then the young man left the room without saying anything else. Wulan sat silently in the bamboo halls. He realized that his refusal had disappointed Dimas."Ah... Dimas... I'm sorry," Wulan sighed softly. Slowly the door of the little hut opened. LooksWulan stepped out half bowing her head. He surveyed his surroundings for a moment, and was somewhat surprised to find himself in the middle of a dense forest with a small hut hidden among the thick trees.A black monkey dangling from one tree branch to another. His voice broke the morning silence around the small hut. Together with the birds chirping each other shouted."Ah, if only I could be free like them..." Wulan sighed softly."You are free, Wulan," came a soft voice from behind."Oh!" Wulan gasped in surprise. Hastily he turned his body.Dimas can be seen sitting on a tree root that sticks out from the ground. His hands were busy making arrows. Several arrows scattered around him. And a big bow propped against a tree. Wulan approached and sat beside the young man."I'm sorry, Big Brother. I didn't mean to disappoint you," Wulan said quietly."Ah, never mind. Forget about that," said Dimas calmly. They were silent for a moment, and just stared at each other.with eyes full of love."Why did you leave your parents?" asked Dimas."Forced," Wulan said. His head was bowed, and there was a sadness on his face. Dimash knows that."Tell me, Wulan. What's wrong?!" Dimas insisted. The young man's right hand held Wulan's shoulder."Don't be angry, Big Brother. I had to die-right them, because I don't want to be the old fart's wife!" Wulan stopped her words, her clear tears were clinging to the corners of her eyes. "And my father, Kakang... he took the consequences of my attitude. Wira Perakin's accomplices have detained him," Wulan tried to hold back her tears, but in vain. Anxiety for the fate of her father and mother shackled her babe very much.Dimas pulled the girl's body into his arms. Her heart was really torn apart by Wulan's suffering."Wira Perakin..." Dimas muttered softly, his hand stroking the girl's hair. "What about your father, Wulan? You mean him.""No, Brother," said Wulan. "Wira Perakin couldn't have killed Father, as long as he still had something to wish for.... But now I don't know, Big Brother!""You just wait here, Wulan," Dimas said as he got up and let go of his hug. "Where are you going?""I will bring your father and mother here. I won't be long, Wulan, you don't need to worry," said Dimas as he picked up the arrows and put them in a leather bag.Dimas tied the bag full of arrows around his waist, then he took the sword and slung it on his back. His left hand grips a large bow that is slightly etched in the middle. Wulan stood up and blocked the young man's steps with a face full of anxiety."Kakang. ," Wulan hoarse and low voice."Don't go anywhere Wulan. No one knows this place besides me," Dimas ordered. For a moment they stared at each other, then Dimas kissed the girl's lips softly. He turned around, walked quickly without looking back. Wulan stared without blinking, until the back of the man she adored disappeared from view.***Nyi Sukirah immediately jumped awake from her sleep. The sound of the door being opened startled him. The door to the room was shattered. Nyi Sukirah let out a stifled scream when she saw a tall, large man standing in the doorway that was destroyed. Behind the man who looked sinister, stood several people dressed in golden yellow uniforms like royal soldiers.Nyi Sukirah knew that the person who was standing arrogantly in the doorway was Kebo Rimang, Wira Perakin's right hand man. Yes, it was that person who took part in looting his house together with Wira Perakin. And now, his history is repeating itself. The notorious man is now ready to destroy his life again"Drag this woman outside! Quick!" ordered Kebo Rimang. His voice was loud and rough. Her eyes looked sharp and blushed. Two of his men immediately moved forward into the room where the door was broken. Without much further talk, the two men immediately dragged Nyi Sukirah."Ah...!" Nyi Sukirah screamed loudly as soon as her body was dumped. The old woman fell to the ground. The skin of his wrinkled hands, scraped blood. Nyi Sukirah tried to get up, but one of the people who was dragging her immediately kicked her hard. Again the old woman's body rolled on the ground. His chest felt tight and his moans sounded pitiful"Where's your daughter. Old Woman?" asked Kebo Rimang flatly.Nyi Sukirah did not answer, only her moaning sounds were heartbreaking and heartbreaking. Several heads popped out of the houses around Nyi Sukirah's house. No one dared to leave the house, let alone meddle in this matter. They all could only massage their chests, pitying the fate of Ki Sukirah's family."Where is your daughter, Nyi Sukirah?" Kebo Rimang repeated his question again.Still, Nyi Sukirah did not answer. He even returned the sharp gaze of Kebo Rimang's eyes. It was as if she had gained inner strength, there was not the slightest bit of trepidation in this woman's heart."Demon!" growled Kebo Rimang. "Search the house!"Five of his followers immediately moved into the house. Soon they were out again. One of them approached Kebo Rimang who stood haunted and looked intently at Nyi Sukirah.Download Novelah App
