Chapter 19
Zyck's POV:
Entrance of Rov-ien area ...
In front of us is the old gate. It was rusty and many of the vines were coiled, it was broken and almost fell over. The walls that serve as protection are cracked.
I never expect to see this. We have known that our clans attacked this place. I feel sorry and guilt for what they did.
"It's like we're in a hunted house." Ruben
"What happened here?" Kriza
Kriza has no knowledge of what happened in this place seventeen years ago. Her home.
"W-we don't know." Hesitantly Tasha said
We swallowed before going inside. As we enter, we can see the former garden is now full of tall grasses. There are remnants of armored, swords and other tools previously used in warfare.
The water fountain were completely destroyed. Every angle of this place can see the horrible experience from the past.
Sophie's father leads us until we reach the front door of the house.
"There is someone watching us from the broken window." Kriza pointed at the same time
We looked at what she pointed and we confirmed that someone was watching us. It left immediately.
Sophie's father would have knocked but suddenly the door opened. As the door opened only candles and torches serve as light inside the room.
We were surprised to see our parents tied up in front of us and not even bothering to fight back. They were bent over and could not look at us directly.
Among them was a man sitting with his left hand bent.
"Dad! "Tasha called out
" Let go of our dad! "Ruben
While Rex was just staring at someone. Sophie. It was standing on the side with another witch, the lava girl and ice queen who attacked us before, on each side we passed there were witches standing.
We prepared ourselves when the man who was sitting earlier suddenly stood up.
Kriza prepared his two escrima. We were amazed when the man suddenly hugged Kriza.
What the heck !
"Omg!" Tasha
Richard and the rest of us were surprised.
"I'm glad to see you my sister." It let go
"What? Brother? "Dexter
" Do you have a brother Kriza? "Tasha
" Shems, e is handsome. "Tasha whispered
" He's handsome. I admit. "Alexa also whispered

" There you two, again. "Ruben whispered
" Are you just going to whisper? "Troy whispered to them.
The three of them frowned.
Kriza pulled out his sword in his sheath and pointed it at the man who hugged him. "Who are you?" she asked boldly
"Wohh." The man raised his two hands sign of surrender. "I'm Kashton Rov-ien and I'm  seven years older than you. You are my sister. "Introducing himself
" How come you are my brother? Why would I believe in you? "Kriza asked one after another.
" Why wouldn't you ask them yourself? " He pointed at the direction of our father  with his hand.
" What do you mean? "Kriza asked with a confused looked .
"Clan leaders, Timothy, why won't you all tell Kriza the truth?" Agitator
"Truth?" Kriza
"All of them except you, know the truth Kriza." Kashton
Kriza couldn't believe it. He looked at us one by one and we can't help but look away.
"I'm sorry Kriza." Tasha
Kriza backed away slightly from all of us.
Kashton would have held Kriza on the shoulder but she also moved away from him.
I hope you will forgive us Kriza.

Kriza's POV:
At this moment, I don't know who to believe. All of them beguiled me.
"The secret that buried deep down. Deep enough to never be found will eventually be found. "Kashton
" Oh. There are so many witches here. " Man in a wolf mask. He took off his mask.
" G-garu? You are the witch hunter?" Tricia
Garu smiled. "Yes and you are a witch, right?"
Tricia nodded.
"Why did you hunt the witches?" Tricia asked
"Because they slaughter my family, my friends and everyone." There was anger in his eyes.
"Join us, as we destroy them Kriza. The one who slaughtered our family. The reason why you are alone. Be one of us, let's crash them!" Kashton. Hatred were written on his face
I look at my friends. Just by looking at them they are telling me, I should never join them. But there was a piece of me that I wanted to avenge my family.
What should I do? I don't want to hurt my friends. I don't want to kill someone precious to me. But, they are the reason why I was alone and now I meet my brother, what is the right choice?
"Seventeen years ago, we slaughtered the Rov-ien family. They are known as the most powerful family. They are famous everywhere. Powerful. Your parents saved us many times. In our time, the war was left and right. We are battling for the throne, who will lead. We, the witches are close friends of that family. But, we are afraid on getting into trouble between the clans so we betrayed them. Before you can get to Rov-ien abode you will pass the home of witches. We put up a barrier around Rov-ien's house to protect them because many attack and envy their power. They can control more than one or two power.But, we removed that barrier on the day where your parents were killed. " Uncle Timothy storied sadly
"I can feel the guilt and regret of what you have done, but my hatred will never fade. You let your fear consume you and because of that, my family is being slaughtered." My brother Kashton who is loathing
"We never ask for both of you the forgiveness of what we have done. We want you to stop this. Don't take revenge on us, you will be just like us." clan leader Heav
"We don't have the ability to go back time––"
I cut clan leader Wyvern off. "Do you know why we aren't blessed to have the power to control over time? To learn from our mistake. We can't go back and correct those mistakes, why? To learn that every actions we have an equivalent consequences."
"That is right. That's why you must follow us." clan leader Mathell
"Even we knew the consequences we are blind because of hatred. Fear consumes people. Hatred consumes people too. Fear and hatred are the invincible enemy. You are telling us to do the right thing but, it wasn't our fault at the first place. " me
"Kriza ..." Tasha
"Garu, will you tell us why you badly want to hunt the witches?" I asked
