Irung's statement sounded strange and only made Pifu confused. Irung just said that he slapped Pifu with a smile and an innocent face. Slap hard enough to produce a loud sound. "Is that the sound of a slap?" Pifu looks unsure. "But I don't feel anything." Pifu was confused by his statement. He didn't feel anything. It doesn't hurt or even feel the slightest bit. "Just felt you touch my cheek, I thought you were still playing like before." Everyone looked at him in confusion. A few seconds later they were still silent without making the slightest sound. “We have to test its resilience with something more.” Irung got up and ran to get the hammer while Niem was ready to stab the knife in the other hand. Seeing that all Pifu was very scared. These people are going to kill him, that's what Pifu thought amidst the excitement of these two strange people. With that fright, Pifu didn't even have time to think why she couldn't feel the blow. "You two calm down first." Luckily Tieden managed to stop Irung and Niem from injuring Pifu. “Is the reaction now reversed? I mean, Piele has a very high tactile sensitivity. Anything that touches his skin feels many times stronger than a normal person." "Who is Piele?" Pifu asked. "Your ancestors." Irung replied in a joking tone. “Someone with a very strong sense of touch.” Niem tried to straighten Irung's sentence which sounded strange. “And that ability is passed on to you, Pifu.” Niem put the knife in his hand on the table, he jumped up and sat on the table. “A little cold would make him feel like he was at the north pole, a little heat would make his skin burn. The caress feels like skin being torn and peeling off.” Niem was now playing with the knife earlier, as if reenacting someone skinning himself. Pifu shuddered at the sight. "We tried to reduce the negative effect, but the result is that you don't feel anything." Irung tilted his head to look at Pifu, "It's better, I mean you don't always get hurt over small things, and maybe your skin's resistance this time is stronger than imagined." Irung continued, “Withstand being hit by a blunt object, or even a sharp object. We need to try it. Scraping a knife into your hand and trying to cut it, burn it to a certain level of heat, put you in the refrigerator…” Irung said all those horrible things casually. Pifu was terrified at the thought of her being mutilated, burned, and frozen by these strangers. Irung took a closer look at Pifu, "But don't you have any sense of touch left?" he stared. "If that's true, then it would be a pity." he looks concerned. Pifu was scared by Irung's worried expression with the terrible words he said. Pifu suddenly reflexively looked behind her and found Niem rubbing a knife against Pifu's right hand. “Tieden, are you sure this knife is sharp?” Niem rubbed the knife harder, but the result was the same nothing happened to Pifu's right hand. “Umm, y-you want to skin me?” Pifu also had doubts about what he said, but since Niem was holding the knife he couldn't say much. But strangely, he didn't feel any pain at all. “This is indeed strange,” Pifu began to speak again, “It seems that you guys understand my condition. Is this really some kind of disease? And this place will heal me?” Pifu remembered the words that Tieden said earlier, that it was these three strange looking people who might treat someone like him. Even though Pifu still doubted why this place had to be kept a secret. Is it because the disease is too strange and afraid to spread, or something. He didn't care about it first, the most important thing was that he recognized his condition better than these three people. "I don't know what you want to call it." Tieden smiled, “Before, Piele, was always in pain with her overly sensitive skin. He always wears thick bandages all over his body. Sometimes thick blankets. Or sometimes until the skin blisters." his eyes look sad. "I don't want the same thing to happen again. Turns out the result is better than expected, you look fine Pifu. This is the first time an ability transfer has been carried out to another person.” Tieden continued. "Then where is that person now? Piele?" asked Pifu. "He is in you." Irung said, half joking and half serious so Pifu didn't know how to react. Pifu didn't dare to ask further about it. “How do you feel Pifu? Is it really not felt at all?” Tieden turned Pifu's attention back to him. "Not really." Pifu looked down “I know something is touching my skin, I know the shape of the whole thinghis." Pifu who just said it felt that it was strange. Only the sharp edge of the blade hit his body, but he could tell the shape of the blade as a whole. "I thought you lost the ability to feel completely." Irung looks relieved. "It's better than we thought. After being transferred to another body, and changing some elements, the result is a step towards our goals.” Irung's mind seemed pleased at the thought of their approaching destination. "Purpose?" Pifu asked subconsciously. "Superman!" Irung said it excitedly. "Is it okay for you to tell him?" Niem looked surprised at Irung who easily answered Pifu's question honestly. Niem then looked at Tieden, seeing Tieden's reaction, because he's the only one who usually stops Irung and him's strange behavior. Tieden patted his forehead, stopping Irung it was too late. Maybe it's not a big deal, he thought. "Superman?" Pifu wondered more and more, she looked at Niem and Tieden alternately. Seeing Niem and Tieden's expressions, he felt that asking too much was a big mistake. But he already said it. "Yep! Super strength above normal humans. You can be like in hero movies.” Irung said it like a joke. Pifu already knows Irung's behavior who talks like a joke but Tieden's scared and worried expression shows that what Irung said seems to be true. "That's also what led him to experiment on himself." Niem giggled. "But the results are far from what superheroes are capable of." he tried to hold back his laughter. Pifu tried to digest every word they said. Irung looked annoyed, “Yes, yes, instead of being a superhero, I can only guess the candy you eat every day. This time the taste of fried chicken.” “Exactly~.” Niem gave a wink. Irung was getting annoyed, “Why are you eating candy with such a strange taste. The smell really confuses my nose. It smells like fried chicken, but it also smells sweet.” "This is my own creation. Especially to test your sense of smell every day." Niem giggled again in amusement. “But aren't there always side effects? But you look normal Irung." Tieden's words brought Niem to his senses and stopped his laughter. "Maybe there's a problem with Irung's head, that's why he's a bit weird." Niem mocked Irung again. "If I'm a little weird because of the side effects of research, then you've been weird from there." Irung scoffed in disapproval, because Niem also often follows Irung's strange ideas and behavior. The situation could lead to even worse as these two mocking each other had a knife and a hammer in each other's hands. Their expressions were smiling but it felt otherwise. "Test? Study? Side effects? Making superhumans?” Pifu said words that sounded strange to her. Irung and Niem reflexively covered their mouths showing that they had just said something they shouldn't have said. Niem and Irung's reaction made Pifu believe that his guess was correct. "So this isn't a disease?" Pifu suspects that all of this is an experiment on humans. Research to make superhumans above the average ability of normal people.
