"Hello~ anyone there?" The man played his fingers in front of Kiau's face. Niem was getting tired of waiting for Kiau who was wading through the past. "You've got a lot of information from the smell of Irung's blood, right?" Niem said when he saw Kiau was already looking into his eyes. Return to the white room where Kiau is being held with Tieden and Niem who are with him. talking about and remembering Irung's memories of the smell of his blood remaining. The ability that Kiau has that was previously owned by Irung. Repeating the memory fragments that had been broken down in the red blood. Niem leaned against the wall, "Can we throw it away? Keeping this blood is really troublesome." Niem stared intently at the remaining parts of Irung. "To prepare for all eventualities we must take care of every part of the experimental results. Because it is difficult to keep Irung's blood flow as usual, That's why we keep each part separate." Tieden rearranged the bottles, the bottles filled with Irung's blood. "Especially in the experiment of the first generation which is close to what we want." Niem surrendered. "Whatever. I don't want to deal with that." Niem looked at Kiau, "From the look on your face, you understand what Tieden is saying don't you? Regarding the first generation." Kiau remained silent, staring intently. "I really don't like you. Where's the fun Irung." Niem returned Kiau's sharp gaze. "You killed him." Kiau said in a flat tone. Niem tugged at Kiau's collar in annoyance, but he didn't say anything. Meanwhile, Kiau's expression did not change. "Am I wrong?" Kiau said. making Niem even more emotional, he gritted his teeth furiously. "And you're next." Niem couldn't take it anymore. "Niem," Tieden's calm voice weakened Niem's grip on Kiau's collar. Tieden approached and held Niem's hand, opened his grip and lowered Niem's hand. "That's neither wrong nor right." Tieden looked at Kiau. Niem stepped back, but his eyes were still staring intently at Kiau. Trying to calm himself down by opening a candy bar from his white coat pocket and popping it in his mouth. "You killed him." Niem said. Kiau didn't say anything. Tieden turned to Niem, didn't expect Niem to say that. Niem mumbled, "Killer.." Niem fiddled with the candy in his mouth. "You act like a saint who is just a murderer." Niem giggled in amusement. "You don't even have the intention of remembering your past." Niem approached Kiau again, "That's because you don't want to know the truth.." Niem squatted down, looked up at Kiau who was sitting on the chair. "...if you're just a murderer." Niem laughed loudly. "Niem!" Tieden shook Niem's shoulder. "Oh, maybe that's a little too much." said Niem suddenly. "But it's true~" Niem again justified himself. "Oh! You can remember it yourself!" Niem looks happy to come up with a diamond idea. "You just have to smell your own blood, don't you?" said Niem with a smile. "Niem! Stop it!" Tieden tried to resuscitate Niem. "Niem! You can't kill him!" Niem glared at Tieden, "Oh, if you're still here I'll be in trouble." Niem smiled. then suddenly "NOISY!!" Niem shouted very loudly as he drew closer to Tieden's ear. For a few seconds there was a buzz in Tieden's ears. Tieden immediately curled up with his hands covering his ears. Niem pulled Tieden and put him in another room beside theirs. Both rooms are limited by transparent glass. "Tainga's room suits you very well. a soundproof room. You won't hear too much moaning or screaming from Kiau." Niem closed the room and left Tieden inside. The pain in Tieden's ears subsided, he struggled to his feet before Niem closed the door and locked it from the outside. but failed. Tieden hit the glass in front of him and said something to Niem. "I can't hear it~ it's a waste Tieden." Niem walked away and returned to the room where Kiau was bound. "Remember Kiau," Niem walked over to one of the tables, picking up the knife that was lying there. "Remember the memory of yourself," Niem walked over. "Who are you, Kiau or Irung? A truth journalist or a mad scientist? The victim or are you the killer?" Niem raised the knife high up. "Do you need a plot twist in the memory movie of the smell of your blood, or not?" Niem scratched Kiau's hand, leaving many scratches and wounds. blood oozed out of every scratch Niem made. Tieden could still hear it. Kiau's voice trying to endure the pain. The screams he tried to suppress but sometimes became unbearable. Or the sound of Niem laughing, I don't know what he's laughing at. The smell of blood begins to waft into the air. The reddish thick liquid began to flood Kiau's clothes, the chair he was sitting on, and pooled in a circle under his feet. “You have a request for a certain form? I'll make a permanent tattoo on your body from the scar." Niem looks focused on making a scar on Kiau's hand, he doesn't care about Kiau's screams. “I should have brought a smaller knife to be able to make certain details.” Niem looked up at Kiau's reaction. Kiau looked at him with hatred and disgust. “How about I make…” Niem pointed at Kiau's wrist which hadn't been scratched, “…engraved my name here?” Niem giggled in amusement. "Isn't that ridiculous?" “Everytime you see it, the pain will come back. You will remember this pain.” Niem went back to talking to himself and occasionally laughing. Kiau was starting to not be able to catch the nonsense what Niem was saying. Slowly Kiau's consciousness began to disappear. Either because he was getting closer to his death or this thick scent of blood took him back in time again. [Kiau's Point of Views] Where else am I now? First thing I thought. Was the place covered in blood tied up and slowly killed by a mad scientist? Or in my past self? As Kiau. I opened my eyes slowly. White room again. I can't even tell if I'm in the same room or not, but it's definitely in the past. There was no blood on my clothes and body. There wasn't the slightest bit of pain from Niem's wound. The condition of the hands and feet that were not tied to a chair, but instead woke up in a bed. The simple clothes of a journalist without any blood fit well on the body. You can find a small notebook tucked in one of his many jacket pockets. And don't forget a pen that is always beside him. The same pen he used in the incident where he killed Hade Gerthian, the father of Izen Gerthian, who tried to kill him, Kiau. Just then, without a doubt the hand stabbed and killed. Trying to defend yourself? The influence of Irung which is said to be a part of this self? Or did you really want to kill that person? He remembered again what Niem said that he was a murderer. Kiau Youren was just an assassin.

I love the way the author made the plot unguessable. It makes me more in love with this novel.
