**DRASULE**
The celebration of Evelyn's awake after four years went on peacefully and the demons rejoiced on the special occasion of their long lost foreign queen but that wasn't all. The celebrant wasn't comfortable as Caluum held her hand tightly in full possession, scared that she might leave him again but she was thinking of her son.
He watched the demons perform all sorts of party rituals till he heard her cough.
"Are you okay?"he asked immediately patting her back.
"I'm fine"she said admits coughing again and this time, she spat out blood.
His eyes widened and his grip on her tightened "Evelyn!"he yelled.
"I'm fine"she feingned a smile.
"No, you don't look fine. Please tell me anything Evelyn, anything at all."he looked at her vunerably " we should go back to the chamber"he stood up.
"But the celebration isn't over"she muttered.
"It can go on. Please you have to rest"he sighed and she slowly nodded, stood and followed him.
Once they got to the chamber, he carefully placed her on the bed as she was still looking pale and her red strands of hair had increased.
"Tell me what's going on Evelyn"he noted, raking his hands through his hair fustratingly. He didn't like the way she was quiet, almost like she wanted to actually give up on her life.
"I just want to see Taynor. That's all"she feingned a ressuring smile that had him almost shedding tears.
"There is more to that Evelyn. Please tell me what's happening"he cried and he heard her sigh in defeat.
"I'm running out of time"she confessed

"How?"he questioned.
"When Erela cursed me, she made complications to the curse break. Taynor's blood woke me up, you know right? You gave me right?"she asked.
His eyes twitched immediately upon actually realising that he wasn't the one who fed his wife Taynor's blood. So who could have possibly been able to contact his son and trespass his territory just to save her. "No. I didn't. I have a feeling its your sister. You know the blonde witch, Joan..."he stated now realising that demon guards had actually reported that witches had intruded the kingdom.
"His blood has effects on me"she continued "it's slowly turning me to an evil demon so I do not have much time left"she finalised
Calluum was too speechless to even say a word so he just moved to the bed and sat beside her holding her hand firmly
"None of that is going to happen Evelyn, I promise you"he soothed.
"Just let me see him before all this happens" she cried "I'm destined to kill him you know that and I fear that if I turn evil before I am able to see him I will kill him. So please, grant me this one wish Calluum" she pleaded and he squeezed her hand firmly in assurance.
"We will find a way through this but we must find Taynor before then"he said.
"No way out Calluum. Don't speak like a new born demon, you know these things, you've seen these things. I just need you to do one thing for me"she stood up from the bed and moves to a drawer where she brought out something that was wrapped in white handkerchief and walked back to him handing him the wrapped item
"This is the only way out. If at all I ever turn evil, please stab me with that"she said and when he opened the wrapped item, it was a carved wooden knife and he stared at his wife sadly.
"Evelyn don't do this to me"he said in a shaky voice "I'm not stabbing you with that"
"We knew all this was going to happen Calluum, when you chose me and I agreed to marry"she moved closer to him and held his face "regardless of whatever will happen, know that I love you"she smiled
"Evelyn...."he cried.
"I chose to marry you Calluum don't falter"she soothed and he sighed in bitterness.
He knew it was forbidden for demons and angels to be at good terms. He and Evelyn were the first of divine creature to be ever fated by the heavens. The first day he met her by the river bank that demarcated the Angel and demons kingdom, she was only eighteen years, he fell in love with her at first sight and he knew he had to have her as his but she, upon seeing him screamed and ran away from him.
When he saw her again, it was three days later and she was with her sister who looked like a witch and they were returning from the market. He sent his guards to snatch her immediately not even giving her or her sister a chance to scream and since that day he held her as his, never returning her back to her parents. She pleaded with him to let her go but he was adamant and slowly she began to adapt and fell in love with him. When she got pregnant, they decided to get married, defiling the order of divine creatures.
So, on the day Taynor was born, Evelyn's mother cursed her in a dream, putting her into a deep sleep and she can only be awaken again by her son's blood and minutes by minutes after her wake she will turn to an evil demon but that didn't change her fate by the heavens, that she was destined to kill her son.
When the dream was over, she never woke up again until four years she'd suddenly woken up and her eyes sparked green like she was possessed , it didn't take much minutes before she fell to sleep again but that moment, she enchanted words about love and the union between a neo being and a human.
When Taynor was born, Calluum took him far away to a wizard he once knew, to train him and grow him away from his past but months ago when he realised Taynor wanted to become human, he knew he had to call him to his rightful place at his throne since he was slowly losing his strength and powers.
But still everything he'd prevented had all come back with full force and there was just a few things he could do to stop it.
"Calluum...."Evelyn voice jolted him out of his deep trance and he sighed.
"Go to bed Evelyn, okay?"he muttered.
"Lay beside me too. You need rest, we must begin to find Taynor by tommorrow"she smiled and layed back on the bed while motioning for him to lay beside her. "I love you Calluum. I always will"she smiled
He finally layed on the bed and he pecked her forehead "I love you Evelyn. More than you can imagine so tommorrow we leave to get our son"he let out a weak smile and she snuggled closer to him before, she finally drifted to sleep, leaving him to think so deeply about what will actually end up happening.
Once Lilian got back to her house in the woods, she met Joan seated at their house parlour reading her spell book as usual and she was almost startled. She wasn't really expecting that Joan would be back so quickly. That means Taynor's mother was awake?
"Mother..."she called enthusiastically.
"Oh, Lilian. I've missed you"Joan smiled and quickly hugged her.
"How was it mum?"she asked immediately since she was so curious and eager to listen to every bit of Joan's story.
"It was adventurous."Joan smiled. "I met so many people and one of these days I will go back to Drasule to get someone"
"You entered drasule? The dreaded demon kingdom"she gasped
"Yeahhhhhh. You should be glad I came back alive"
"Well you did keep to your promise of not deing"she laughed "and Evelyn is awake?" she asked.
"Yes"replied Joan.
"Does that mean my curse has been broken?"she asked more eagerly
"Yes"
"You mean it mum?"
"I wasn't joking when I said awakening Evelyn was one of the option"Jaon smiled.
"Holy crystal!"she exclaimed "I'm so happy right now that I just wish my mate appears to me so quickly. I'm so happy"she screamed joyously. "How do i know the curse has been broken mum?"she asked.
"Well, your instincts will sharpen and you'll find out how" Joan explained "I did the right thing for you Lilian and I'm happy you are finally free"
"You sure did the most right thing"she beamed with excitement.
"And Taynor, how was it with him?" Joan asked.
"He was stubborn. I told him I like him and I kissed him, but he is so into Zenia, so I'll just scratch him out now"she pouted sulkenly.
"You kissed him?"Joan eyes widened.
" Yes. Sort of. He was being stubborn, I had to do it"
"You should be careful Lilian. Having an affair with someone else mate could be dangerous."Joan cautioned.
"I'm not having an affair with him. Distinguish between kiss and an affair properly okay?"she rolled her eyes. "By the way, I know I have to deal with my feelings for him so I can find my mate now since my curse has been broken"she noted.
"How about I make you your best dish to celebrate"Joan suggested and she squealed
"The perfect idea mum"
That evening as she laid on her bed in her room, staring at the ceiling, all her thoughts seemed to revolve around Taynor. She couldn't think properly and she couldn't even be happy for long because she was too sad that she had to let the love for Taynor die so quickly. But what could she do, they weren't fated and it would be her bad if she ended being in love with him forever.
She suddenly remembered Leo. The way he'd woken to her while he escorted her out of his mansion, his green enchanting eyes and his masculine voice.
"You should forget about him"he had told her.
"Who?"she had asked knowing he was talking about Taynor.
"Taynor"leo said. "You have to forget about him"
"You know nothing about me"she snapped.
"He will become human soon so you should move on with your love"he told her.
"Can you keep your lectures for later when we meet again, that's if we ever"she rolled her eyes "Who are you by the way?"
"Taynor's brother from Mellisa."he replied
"Be his brother and watch his back"she stated. "And do not interfer in other people's businesses henceforth, okay?"she snapped.
Leo didn't say a word again and was just quiet as they kept on walking till she had to speak again,
"Why did you decide to escort me out?"she asked.
"I needed to talk to you"he was plain as ever.
"So you could lecture me?" She scoffed "You should know then, since I'm so bothered and I must ask this question. Will Taynor be okay when the 100 year demon comes to him again?"she asked
"That shouldn't be of your concern Lilian"he replied "but I would give you an answer anyway. Only the heavens can determine what happens"he said
"Then please, do not let him get hurt"she said.
"He is immortal and moreover, my work here is done, so I will be going back to Mellisa soon."
"He might need you. No, he would need you"she noted "I know he has Zenia but certainly he would need his brother"she added and then smiled "see you leo"she waved and it was then Leo realised he had reached his stop but before he could wave her back, she was gone.
A noise by her room window suddenly jolted her out from her world of recalling and she quickly stood from her bed to look through it. It was dark but she could still see vaguely and she saw a figure walking in an unpredictable manner of which she recognised at once to be the 100 year demon. His body suddenly lit fire and she shook in fear seeing him that way, burning in fire but he wasn't screaming neither was he trying to put out the fire. It looked like he was turning into some new creature.
For fear that he might turn and find out that she was watching him, she quickly got away from the window and covered it properly before laying back on her bed. Definitely, the 100 year demon was going to cause a whole lot of havoc in the world and if Taynor runs out of time, what will end up happening to him?
