Lilian stood beside Leo as they stared at each other since she had called him to talk about what she had seen in the woods the previous night. As such, they were outside her little cottage while recieving cool breeze and staring into the river up front of the cottage.
"Will you keep staring or pass your message?"Leo finally spoke.
"And you are staring too"she turned to him.
"You hadn't said a word. What was I suppose to do?"he shrugged.
"Just..."She paused then, "never mind"she said "I saw the hundred year demon last night"she expounded.
"Last night?"Leo furrowed his brows "where?"
"Here. Just few meters away from this cottage. I think he is going to cause a lot of harm" she said and Leo was mute.
"You don't know a thing about that creature, do you?"she asked sighing but Leo was still mute like he was suddenly lost.
"And you are a wizard?"she continued. It was then, he turned to her hurriedly.
"You should go Lilian? "
"What?!"
"That creature can kill Taynor!"
"What?!" She shrieked in shock "Taynor is immortal"
"All immortals can be killed"his voice finally came out calmly as he leaned his back on the wall behind him "Locken was a creature like me, like you, like every other divine creature"he explained.
"Then what happened to him?"
"He was a demon before he died. You see, special demons can be reborn by the blood of another divine creature especially when they died in betrayal. That is the case of Locken"
"Wow"Lilian mouthed. "He has a name afterall. Who betrayed him?"
"I should leave"he made to hurriedly go but she held him back.
"You can't just leave like that. I have to know everything if I can save Taynor"she mentioned.
"You can't!"was his straight reply and she looked at him spitefully. "Get over Taynor, Lilian. He has a mate so don't interfere with his fate"
"I wasn't going to"she retorted. "Can you learn not to butt into my business? Just go!"she yelled.
"Find your mate Lilian"he cooed
"I said ...."
"Lilian?"she was cut short.
They both looked up to see Joan standing at their front "and Leo"she grinned.
"I'm going inside"Lilian said sulkenly before quickly dashing away.
"She called you here?"Joan asked.
"Hmm"was Leo's simple reply. "I should get going.
"Won't you say your goodbye?"
"She's still sulking" he replied and began to walk out but Joan yelled to his hearing;
"She is your mate, isn't she?" And he only turned without saying a word.

Back in Mellisa, Taynor and Zenia stood in front of a very acient cottage while the former knocked on the door gently and a bald head peaked out as soon as the door creaked open.
"Child"the bald headed person beamed upon seeing Taynor as he came out fully from the cottage.
He was an old man with a wrinkled forehead, old ugly teeths and the sight of him made Zenia shudder. He also had a tatoo on his bald head and he wore a heavy bead around his neck.
"Dango"Taynor smiled "Can we come in?"
"Of course child. Get in creature"Dango punched him playfully as he stared at Zenia intensly.
As they walked into the cottage, the wooden floor made squeaking sound with each step they took till Dango ushered them to a formally set acient dinning table with wooden chairs and they sat adjacently.
"Trouble again?"Dango snickered.
"Not exactly. But I need your help"replied Taynor.
It was then, Dango asked "Who is she?"his gaze moved to where Zenia sat.
"I'm Zenia"...."She's my wife"they both replied together and Zenia ended up choking on her words.
Dango chuckled "You got married?"
"Hmmm"Taynor replied but Zenia was quick to kick him defensively while giving off a stern glare.
"Human wife, nice to see you"Dango smiled at her.
"It's Zenia"she feigned an unpleasant smile cause she certainly didn't like the old man's choice of words.
"Then, you have come here to seek humanity"he took his gaze to Taynor and the latter nodded.
"I have to do something about the 100 year demon"Taynor said.
"By escaping?"Dango creased his brow.
"I don't stand a chance against him Dango. My only choice is to become human"he replied.
"Coward!"Dango cussed "Do you really believe that when you turn human your fate changes?"
Zenia quickly turned to look at Taynor upon realising the question was really something to ponder on.
"Yes"he replied steadily and it seemed to suddenly calm Zenia's already troubled heart.
"Fine then"Dango sighed "follow me"
They walked into a very dark room and Dango quickly lit a torch and began going down the stairs so they followed behind him till they arrived at a very old dusty library that had an awful smell.
"Do you store pigs in here?"Taynor sacarstically asked while covering his nose in disgust but Dango smiled.
"It's been years since I came in here"he said while continuing his walk through the library lanes and the two fated had no choice than to follow him till they stopped at the inner part of the library where a huge shelf stared down at them.
Dango chanted a spell and brought out the particular book he was looking for and then placed it on the round table behind them. With another chanting of a spell, Dango opened the book and flipped through the pages till he got to the particular page he wanted and dust filled the whole atmosphere.
"To get the Gluntis"he began "you have to match through the candles that are lit for hundred days without getting off in the cave of Mellisa."
"Hey, you've told me this before"Taynor snapped in disappointment.
"Well, that's all you have to hear"Dango said and harshly closed the book.
"Where do I find the Gluntis after all the process?"
"It's beneath the river of Mellisa, hidden by the sword of a great wizard"
"And?"
"You chant a spell to wake the powers of the sword"
"Then what is the spell"Taynor asked eagerly but Dango shunned him.
"Not so fast child"he laughed."You must come back for the spell"
"That's long process Dango"Taynor sulked.
"It's worth trying first"Dango smiled "C'mon, let's go back up. I should serve you two my best herb"
"You don't need to"Taynor feinged attitude just to escape from the extreme bitter herbs "we are leaving already. Bye Dango"he held Zenia's hand and before Dango could say another word, he teleported.
