Immediately Jack called her back but Arya refused to answer.
She felt so angry that she did not know what to say and anyway, he must come personally to settle this matter and clear this up.
The girl twisted her fingers and bit her lip.  Apparently, she did not expect Arya to be so bold as to call the man over but she also did not have the intention to avoid this.  She came with the intention to defend her position and power and she would wait for him to come.
Arya looked at the girl from top to bottom and then asked.  “Are you his blind-date?”
The girl did not deny and said.  “We met through a blind date and we have started a relationship.  It has been going for some time and both our families have met.  The matter between us is basically set.  We will be picking a date for our marriage soon.”  The girl paused and said again.  “So, he should not be referred to as my blind-date and to say he is my fiance is also not an exaggeration.”
Arya could hardly breathe and her mood was extremely bad.  She felt no woman would be able to tolerate this kind of thing. 
The man she liked had only confessed to her the previous day, and today, a woman who claimed to be his fiancée had come to her house to challenge her.
Arya said coldly to the girl.  “Since you are an uninvited guest, I don’t have to be courteous towards you.  Wait here until your ‘fiancé’ arrives, then the two of you can knock on my door.”
The word ‘fiance’ was spat out of her mouth with a sour taste.
When she finished speaking, she shut the door and left the girl standing outside.
While waiting for Jack’s arrival, she was like an ant crawling on a hot pan, circling around the house with anxiety and anger.  The guy had clearly told her that he had rejected the blind-date and before this, she had not the slightest care or thought much about it.
But now someone actually came up to her house.  How did the woman know her home address?  Only Jack could have told her.  Why did Jack let her know her home address?  
This is too much!  He is too irresponsible!
A long time had passed and finally, she could hear Jack’s voice outside the door.  Then she heard the doorbell. 
She rushed over to the door like an arrow and flung opened the door.
Outside the door, the man and woman were facing each other and looking at each other doubtfully.
“Have you gone crazy?  Are you just picking up some random woman and say that she is my girlfriend?”  Jack was very unhappy and looked pale.  It looked like he had rushed over in a hurry for nothing. 
That woman also said to her.  “What do you mean by this?  I thought you were so bold to him to come over.  Now you’ve found someone that I don’t even know, what do you want to do?”
Arya was dumbstruck again.  She pointed her finger at Jack and said.  “Isn’t this him?”
“I don’t know him.”
“I don’t know her.”
The man and the woman answered at the same time.
Arya was surprised and asked.  “Who is him?”
“Mr. Max Wilson.”
“Who Max Wilson? I only know Chandler Wilson. Does he has another name?”
Arya was stunned.  What is happening?
Suddenly Jack who was standing at the side smiled and said.  “I’m sick and I request to sit down to watch the show.”
Arya glared at him and he spread his hands.  “I was terrified by your phone call and I had rushed all the way here.  Now my heart is still racing.”
“That shows you’re guilty.”
“Hey, don’t just accuse me blindly.  Don’t you feel you’re unreasonable?”
“Since you have previous track records, it is not surprising that your ex-girlfriends or current girlfriends would make a sudden appearance.  So you feel guilty out of fear.”
“Are you feeling angry because of humiliation?”  Jack was unhappy and frowned at her.  “That is Chandler’s love debt and it is him who brought this trouble.  You have to solve the problem.  Why are you taking out your anger on me?”
She choked and also knew that she was being unreasonable but she was feeling very angry.  “It is all because of you lowly men.  How many women do you want before you are satisfied?  Men are real bastards and all over the world, men are the same.”
“What do you mean by ‘same’?”  Jack’s voice also became loud. 
This is really her fault, she is being unreasonable.
“Low character!”  She became angrier.  She was angry at herself and was unable to restrain herself.
The girl realized she was ignored with no one paying her any attention.  The other two people had started to quarrel with each other and she was stunned.  She tried hard to intervene to make her presence felt.  “In short, don’t get entangled with Mr. Wilson anymore since we’re getting married soon.  You already have a boyfriend, so what do you want by going after him?  Do you want proof that he loves you more?  Is this meaningful?”
“How the hell did you know it was she who went after him?”  Jack turned his head around and scolded the girl.  “Don’t you see that she is my girlfriend?  This has nothing to do with your man!  If you want to say anything, go back and look for your man! Do not bother my woman.”
Arya and the girl were both shocked.  Jack’s burst of violent temper scared them. 
Instantly, Arya became frightened and dared not to intervene.
“What is your name?”  Jack started to ask.
“Rene Perry.”  The girl was subdued and answered meekly when asked.
Arya also gathered her wits.  Yes, she had forgotten to ask for the other person’s identity. 
“How did you know the address here?”  Jack asked again.
Arya also felt that it was an important question and subconsciously nodded her head.
Jack shot a glance at her and then said to the girl.  “You’d better clarify things or else for people like you who suddenly charge up here to cause trouble, we have the right to call the police.  To put it nicely, your feelings are hurt and you’ve come to take revenge.  To say this bluntly, who knows this might be just a lie you cooked up in preparation for a burglary?”
Suddenly, Arya felt that Jack was ten times more able and efficient than she was.  She did not have any other thoughts and now he had said this, she was secretly glad she did not allow the stranger to enter her house.
“Why do you have to call the police?  Don’t threaten me.  I saw her address written on the bill for the gift he sent to her, so I came to look for her.”  Rene pointed her finger at Arya.  “Her name was constantly and inadvertently on his lips and I very clearly remembered the name on the express bill was hers.”
“Chandler Wilson had never sent me anything.”  It was necessary for Arya to clarify.
“What do you mean?  I even saw the receipt for nine hundred dollars for the ring and I’m sure I didn’t make a mistake.”
Arya gaped and was shocked.  Jack also frowned.
Arya asked.  “Is it safe to send a ring worth nine hundred dollars by express delivery?”
Jack and Rene glared at her.  Jack sighed and said.  “Your IQ is really worrying me.”
Arya felt unhappy with Jack and said.  “Of course, such expensive items must be delivered in person and not sent via express delivery.  What if it is stolen?  Am I wrong?”
Then Rene said.  “The ring was sent out by express delivery.  I’ve written down the name and delivery address, so where is the problem?”
“One name is Max Wilson and the other name is Chandler Wilson.  These two names don’t even match and the two of you had talked for a long time, isn’t this a problem?  The names of the man don’t even match, then don’t you think it is right to try matching the woman’s name?” 
Jack pointed at Arya and asked Rene.  “Do you know who she is?”
Rene stared blankly.  “Of course, I know her.  She is Sophia.”
Arya froze.  So it is Sophia…….
Jack turned his head around and asked Arya.  “Where is Sophia?”
She shook her head.  “Sophia is not here.  She went out of the city.”
“Good.”  Jack nodded and said to Rene.  “Miss Perry, my girlfriend’s name is Arya and not Sophia the person you’re looking for.  And also, I hope you will settle this problem outside among yourselves and don’t come here again to harass my girlfriend.  I will remember the two names, Rene and Max Wilson and I am able to extract your information.  So, you must remember my words……in future, don’t harass my girlfriend and this is her home.  Do you understand?”
Rene apparently did not expect to make such a big mistake.  She stared blankly and was unable to respond. 
Jack repeated his words and finally, Rene nodded.
Then Jack behaved impolitely and pulled Arya into the house before closing the door on Rene’s face.
Arya felt a bit helpless.  Just now, she had scolded Jack and had also said he had a low character.  She sat down on the couch with her head down and felt a bit embarrassed to look at him. 
Finally, Jack sighed deeply and asked seriously.  “Arya, do you feel insecure with me recently?”
Arya wanted to deny.  She was not a person without a sense of security but when she opened her mouth, she closed it again.
This mistake of looking for the wrong person could actually be explained.  That Rene had said ~ The man you love……is mine ~ if her mind was calm enough and with a few more questions asked, all this could be figured out.   But the first thing that came to her mind was, this girl was Jack’s ex-girlfriend and she had also felt so angry that she made Jack come over.
So if it was asked how much she trusted him, of course, the answer would be……she does not trust him.
“Well…….”  Jack said to himself again.  “I can comfort myself to say that you must love me very much.”
Her heart started to jump again.  Of course, she loves him.
As matters had reached this stage, of course, she knows she loves him.  But why is she hesitating?  Why is she in such a panic?
When they were friends, she had felt more secure than she is now.
No sense of security……..he is right.
If he is just a good friend, she does not have to worry about losing him.  If he is a boyfriend, the vulnerability of their relationship will increase by a hundred folds.
She was still thinking about this when suddenly her vision blurred.  Jack pulled her into his arms and gave her a loud lip-smacking kiss.  “I have said……I  will kiss you, everytime I see you.  Only that I’m still not fully recovered from my cold, so I can’t do my best.”  His tone sounded regretful.
She gathered her thoughts and pouted.
Jack said with conviction.  “I have read a magazine and there is an article which stated that an intimate relationship between a man and a woman can increase a mutual sense of security.”
She frowned and said.  “Is this about after going to bed and there will be a feeling that the other party will not be able to run off?  A lecher must have written this article.”
Jack laughed out loudly at her remark  “My dear, I really like you when you are vulgar.”
She could not control herself and hit him.
“When you are violent towards me, I also feel you are cute, did I tell you this before?”
She wanted to laugh but she also wanted to keep a taut face and stared at him.
Jack pulled her over and made her sit on his lap. He held her tight and said.  “Arya, you’ve seen Shelly before and you are also clear about the matter between us.  I have to tell you that my second girlfriend is called Lexy.  It was I who pursued her.  At that time, I was still under the influence of Shelly and I thought that there are many women who are better than her, more beautiful than her, and I will definitely live better than her.  However, happiness is not something that can be obtained by acting recklessly.  I was together with her for a while and I think we had worked hard on the relationship but in the end, we were still unsuitable for each other.  She had high expectations of me.  She liked the romance of a relationship and I was unable to fulfill her wishes.  She was very strong-minded and had a lot of opinions and I am also the same.  So I felt very tired and she also felt very tired.” 
She formed in her mind an image of a powerful female Miss Poisonous Tongue against a powerful male Mr. Poisonous Tongue with both of them facing each other.  The picture was really amazing.
Jack continued.  “My third girlfriend pursued me.  That time, I had learned my lesson from Lexy.  I knew that I must not fall in love recklessly anymore.  But Jill was a very obedient and adorable girl.  She pursued me passionately and persisted for a long time.  I was moved and I thought she was the type that would certainly adapt to accommodate me so I will not be so tired.  So I agreed.”
She adjusted her position and leaned closer to him in his embrace.  She likes the feeling that Jack opened up his heart to her. 
“But after we were together, inevitably we would talk about the past.  And you also know that since I am so handsome, a lot of women are attracted to me.”  He said loudly and made her laugh.
“I was Jill’s first boyfriend.  She could not understand why I had two love experiences before her and she could not accept that other women frequently express their interest in me.  She was always suspicious.  She had always hoped that I would express her importance in my heart and make her feel that she had more influence over me than anyone else.  I couldn’t do it and I didn’t know how to satisfy her feelings.  For example, if I work overtime, she would feel the patients were more important than her.  When I was late for an appointment, she would think I didn’t care for her.  Finally, we broke up.  This love did not even last longer than my second time.”
Arya asked.  “Could it be because of your bad temper and your words were unpleasant which led people to think you didn’t care and they didn’t have a place in your heart?”  If a woman does not have a sense of security, is that a woman’s fault or a man’s fault?
“You’re picking on my faults again, is that it?”
“You must realize your shortcomings.”
“I have reflected on myself, so I’ve not been in love ever since.  Having the right conditions does not mean one can feel comfortable being together.  If the feeling is not right, being accommodating to another will also not guarantee the relationship will last.  Actually, I am very sorry for both of them.  I only considered their conditions and never considered their feelings.  A person’s character and temper are hard to change.  If she does not meet a person who is willing to change for her, then forcing herself is useless.”
“Then what about me?”  Arya sat up straight and stared at him.  “You said you want to be with me and want to be my boyfriend but you haven’t changed one bit and you’re still so fierce.”
“You’re the one who is fierce.  Indulging in you made you more and more arrogant.”
“How can I be?”  She was unwilling to accept his words.  That is really an injustice!
Once again, Jack pulled her back into his arms and hugged tightly, then jokingly said.  “Just based on your conditions, there is nothing to consider.”
Again she was unwilling to accept his words.  “I’m not that bad.  I’m better than some and worse than others.”
“That’s why I only considered feelings.” Jack jokes and Arya’s face went dull.
He placed a kiss on her forehead, “Arya. You are better than everyone for me. I don’t understand why you are so unconfident about yourself, but you are beautiful and ya cute too. Without your glasses, you look so darn pretty but then I am afraid I have to ward of lot of flies coming near to you. But any which ways, with or without your ugly glasses, you are cute. Get that in your thick head and stop undermining yourself. The great thing about you is I don’t need to change, and I think you didn’t find it difficult to accommodate me.  I feel very comfortable being with you.”
