An idea.

Alexander clenched his fists and grit his teeth as he watched Jackson and his teammates jubilate a little. Just as quick, he calmed down and smiled.
“That shall be your last score in this game. I assure you.” He muttered as he received the ball from his teammate, Luke and began pushing forward. It was now their turn to attack. He bounced high repeatedly while running towards the opponent’s hoop but he was just about to get blocked by Tyler.
He stopped advancing and began bouncing with his right hand, while holding Tyler back with his left. He used this to buy himself time as he assessed the situation. Too bad, all his teammates were blocked. He saw this as him having no choice but to shoot from where he was.
Meanwhile, this was all within Logan’s speculation and he quickly made a quick hand sign to Collins, who nodded and they began moving. Jackson joined the fray too and he took his position three meters in front of Alexander. Logan walked to block Luke, while Collins took his position behind Tyler. Callum observed all of those guy’s movements and wondered what was going on. However, he wasn’t willing to let them have their way.
He decided to block someone, but he blocked the wrong person instead, Logan. He suspected that as the one giving the orders, he had a big role to play in the next move his team were about to make. Little did he realize that Logan’s job was just to give orders and pass to whoever, he believes should be passed to. But that didn’t mean he couldn’t do other things as well.
Logan got slightly annoyed due to someone holding him off and he was really trying to shake the person but he couldn’t. Meanwhile, Alexander was caught in a dilemma.
‘I was just about to make a shot but suddenly, two of my teammates are suddenly open. Although I can still make the shot, I don’t think the guy behind this one in front of me is as easy going as this one in front of me. Guess I have no choice but to pass. Michael happens to be free to passing to him is logical. He’s a good shooter after all.’ He concluded his thoughts and bent his knees and got ready for a jump. Tyler saw this and quickly did the same.

Meanwhile, the moment, Alexander jumped, Tyler jumped higher, and tried to prevent the ball from passing him by. However, he never saw the ball caome through. This stunned him for a while and he looked back down, only to see that Alex had passed to someone else, who made the shot. Too bad though, Collins was there for the rescue, as he blocked the ball from going far into the air.
‘What?! When did he...’ Alexander worriedly looked at Collins, who he thought was behind Tyler stop the ball from Michael. That speed was too much.
While Alexander was still in a daze, Jackson had caught the ball again and passed to Eddie. The latter was beyond half of the court distance away from the opponents’ hoop. That was like approximately, fifteen meters away from the target. And he prepared to make the shot.

With the muscles of his legs bulging slightly, and the warm air leaving his nostrils, he jumped as high as he could until he was in the air. After reaching his maximum height, writhin that split second that he floated, before gravity took over, he calculated the amount of force he would need and after making his evaluation, the pushed the ball further into the air, like a stone.
While everyone’s hearts were still in their throats, the ball slowly advanced towards the hoop. Alex and his team could do nothing but watch as the ball advanced towards the hoop and pray that it doesn’t score.

Unfortunately for them, after all the training they’ve gone through, Eddie might be the lazy type, but he never misses.
BONK!
The ball went straight into the hoop without even hitting the rim. Such accuracy, at such a long distance was so incredible. For a moment there, the fans were silent.
“Unbelievable!!” The commentator exclaimed. “Eddie Hudson just made a three pointer basket from such a huge distance! Such accuracy is so incredible. He might as well sign up for the NBA because that, is the skill of an advanced basketball player.” The commentator claimed with bewilderment.
Leo just smirked from the side lines, as it was He and Mrs. Hale who suggested a training regimen for Eddie. Due to this, his accuracy and range increased, and with how fast he was going, he would be able to score from full court soon.
Alex was dumbfounded and didn’t know what to say. That basket was too precise. What surprised him further, is how their captain is able to coordinate his team so well. Logan smirked as he watched the shocked look on Alexander and his teams’ faces.

“Little did you know that Collins was just an assurance and your teammates which I made free where the baits. If you taken the shot, there was a slim chance you would’ve scored. But you took the bait instead. Collins wasn’t meant to stop you. He was meant to stop whoever you passed to, so the moment you jumped, he was already running towards Michael.” he muttered with a malicious smile on his face.
“In my domain, you are all nothing but chess pieces. While I... am the player.” He said.
*************
The players were taking a break as the second quarter had passed. Elian Comprehensive high school was now down with thirty five points, while Sky Hills high had only seven points. With Logan’s power and his coordination with his team, one could say their team was unbeatable.
Sky Hills basketball team were mainly shocked throughout the game. Most especially Alexander. He knew that most of the other party’all players were weaker than theirs, but he and his team were still getting over powered by them. Their coach, a tall man without much build and black low cut beard placed his hand on his chin and stroke it repeatedly as he pondered on what to do.
If it were a non observant coach, he would’ve been yelling at his players at the top of his voice by now. However, he knew that it wasn’t that his players were weak. As a matter of fact, they were very strong. The problem is that the opponent is using that strength against them and turned it into a weakness.
“What do we do now, coach?” Alex asked the man with desperate eyes. The coach sighed and thought of a solution.
“The main problem is their coordination. They have a small forward that executes his orders diligently without making much mistakes, a strong power forward, an absurdly wide ranged shooting guard, a good center and an highly strategic point guard, captain, and coordinator.”
“He’s like the binding wire and he controls his team with high efficiency. His moves are also flawless. If he wasn’t on the field, I would say that he’s the coach. No... it’s almost like he’s... a chess player.” The coach evaluated.
“So what you’re saying is that if he’s out of the way, the team will crumple?” Callum confirmed and the coach nodded.
“Most likely.” He answered. This put them into another series of thinking. Knowing the solution to a problem was one thing, executing it was another. Logan was the binding wire of his team. If he goes down, the team will lose their coordination and they will be at a disadvantage. But how were they supposed to get Logan out of the game? It was then that Luke’s eyes began to shine brightly.

“I have an idea!” He said.
