Ash went out to get some dinner for them. Ivanna was waiting for him when the nurse came in.
"Good evening, How are you feeling? I'm just going to check on your vitals." she said.
"I'm fine actually, go on." she said.
Exactly, the nurse came out and Ash went inside. He was holding a bunch of McDo meals, her eyes widened.
"Are we going to eat all of that?" she asked.
"Of course, we can." he said.
Ash prepared the food.
"So, what did the nurse tell you?" he asked.
"She just checked my vitals and she gave me medicine to take after dinner." she said.
Ash opened all the packed foods and her mouth was already watering staring. Ash took some chickens, fries, burgers, and coke for them.
"You have to eat all of that." he handed her her food.
"I can." she said.
Ash chuckles, they eat and eat.
"I'm done." she said.
She grabs one of the large fries and started to eat it.
"Greedy." he said.
Ivana rolled her eyes to him, he was smirking and she can feel her heart beating fast again.
"Jesus, I know that you can't it all." she just said.
Ash watches her eating all the fries.
"Can you give me." he said like a child and even pouts.
Ivanna laughed.
"You're like a child." she said.
Ash tickles her foot making her to laugh loud.
"Sssshh, some were already sleeping." she told her.
But Ash keeps on tickling it until she surrendered to give him.
"Come on." he said.
"Alright, fine. Please stop it!" she shouted.
Ash grabs the fries at her hand and eat it all like a hungry old lion.
"Oh my God, you eat it all?" she asks.
Ash giggled and she glared at him. Ash finished to eat it and he handed her a water.
"You have to drink your medicine." he said.
He handed her the medicine and she drinks it. She wanted to take a shower.
"I want to have a shower." she said.
"Wait, I'm going to check if they have a warm shower here." he said.
Ivanna smiled, he was working and doing his responsibility as her husband.
"They have, do you want to?" he asked.
Ivanna nodded. Ash helps her to stand up and getting careful not to hold nor touch her blisters. He gave her her slipper and towel. Good thing, they didn't put her a dextrose but she's just on under observation.
"I'm going yo get you some clothes." he said.
But when she remembered about her under wears.
"Ash, did you get some of my hmmm, under wears." she said, not staring at her.
Ash chuckled.
"Oh yeah, Check your bag." he said.
Ivanna opened the bag and she was lucky that her husband knew what he got for her. She took one pair of her clothes and under wears.
"Thank you." she said.
Ivanna went to the bathroom and locks the door.
"Jesus, I need to be careful." she said.
She was extra careful to take off her clothes for her blisters not to pops out. Ash was lying at the couch with his blanket and playing games. Ivanna finished showering after ten minutes.
"Are you good?" he asked.
He's not staring at her but he knew if she's done.
"Yep." she said.
She lied back at her bed and stared at her husband.
"What are you playing?" she asked.
"Candy crush, try it." he said.
Because she was bored, she played it too on her phone. Both of them were having a fun time playing with it.
"I'm already low bat." she said.
Ivanna charged her phone and she watches Ash carefully. Ash doesn't know that she was watching him. She was feeling a romantic excitement and butterflies were flying to her stomach.
"Jesus Ivanna, wake up." she whispered to herself and even slaps her face.
"What are you doing?" Ash was shocked.
"Uhmm nothing." she said.
Ash was curious why did she just slaps her face.
"You're ridiculous, why are you slapping your own face." she said.
Ivanna just giggled.
"You're over reacting. It was just itchy." she said.
Ash rolls his eyes.
"Then why don't you just put some alcohol." he said.
Ash grabs the alcohol at the table and he poured a little to his hand and slowly wipes to her face. Ivanna heated and went blushed, it was the first time he holds and caress her face like that. Her heart was beating so fast, she just smiled. Ash was feeling awkward, he lately realized that he was caressing her face.
"Okay, that would be enough." he said.
"Thank you." Ivanna said.
"What time are you going home tomorrow?" she asks him.
Ash was thinking.
"I took some of my clothes here so I can just take a bath here tomorrow before going to work. I'm going out by seven." he said.
Ivanna nodded.
"Are you going home before coming here?" she asked.
"Maybe, or I'll go straight here." he said.
Ivanna once again, nodded. She just wanted to make sure if she's having a company for tomorrow.
"Okay, you need to go to sleep now. I'm going to sleep also." he said.
She smiled.
"Okay, Good night." she said.
Ash didn't answer but he went directly to the couch to sleep. Ash must be really really tired, she thought. Ash was already asleep but Ivanna was still up. She decided to watch him asleep, she turns her body side way to watch her husband.
"Thank you." she whispered.
Ivanna was thankful that Ash was nice at some time.
"Do I need to be hurt always for you to take care of me." she said.
She smiled bitterly, she just really realized that she has an eye for her husband, that she loves him but her husband doesn't love her. He loves her ex girlfriend which who hurts her.
"Thank you so much for being here with me." she smiled and watch him.
