Osso Slatika

The silver wolf sprints as fast as he can while maintaining its balance, so Gura won't fall from his back while the other wolves are running with him at the back of his tail. They rushed to the southeast of the forest before stopping. A man appeared and approached her, touching her hand. He examined her body for a while "Her bones, especially her back, are crushed," he continued, "and some of her veins got destroyed. She's in awful shape but not critical."
He opened a bottle of vials and poured them into her mouth to drink. "You'll be fine; I'll fix you later." He touched the silver wolf, signaling to get away from this forest as soon as possible. The wolves ran out of the forest, and stayed behind, looking to the directions where the wolves come from: "And for me, I'm going to kill some mutts."

"He's back." Christina saw Osso running towards their location. "Where's that kid?" she asked. He surveyed his surroundings before looking in her direction. When she caught his dejected face, she already knew that the little girl had escaped—his face revealed it all.
Gillis, who's sitting at the side, stands up and walks, asking, "How long are you two going to stand idle?" The two glanced at each other first before agreeing to follow Gillis. The field was a mess. There are countless dead bodies from the monsters they have slain. But the group of three tensed up when a particular crow showed up and hovered around them. "Why do I feel alarmed about that single bird?" Gillis stops for a moment and touches his sword again. The two felt the same way and prepared their weapons.
At first, there's only a lone bird hovering, then two, then three. After several minutes, a flock of crows and ravens was flying in the sky. "This is not normal," Gillis said, drawing his weapon. "Of course not, idiot," Christina replied, drawing her blades. Osso, on the other hand, looked at their surroundings. "Look," he warned the two, and he postured a fighting stance while drawing his blade.
The carcasses of the monster let out a black particle and, one by one, were eaten by a shadow, which then disappeared. Subsequently, it turns into a crow and then flies into the sky. "That's interesting." Osso gets excited by what he is seeing; he is sure that a stronger foe will emerge and will give him a pleasurable fight to the death. "Look!" Christina pointed to a tree, and the two men looked in that direction.
The crows and ravens that were flying above their heads suddenly flew towards the tree that Christina was pointing at. Almost all the crows started to flock to the branch of the said tree, and after a second, a man wearing a black hood and a bird mask appeared.
The man surveyed the terrain, and when his lenses hit the three mercenaries, he let out a creepy laugh. "Ehihihihi... Hayz—" he sighed. "Hello there, the three of you," he said, waving his hand as he greets the three mercenaries. The three looked at each other first before giving a response: "Hello there," Gillis greeted back. "Who're you?" He asked. The man didn't reply but instead pointed a finger toward the person who has the biggest build. "I think he's looking for you, Osso." Christina glanced at Osso.
Osso let out a big grin. "You're related to that kid? Right?"  asked while he licked his lips. Gillis and Christina turn their heads to look at Osso, then at the man who's wearing black clothing. "Is he the boss or what?" Gillis took the initiative to ask the man a question again: "Are you the one who planned the attack?"
The man didn't reply right away. He just stood there, looking at the three without moving. Then he answered, "No, I am not the one who planned the attack... But yes, I'm her master." The tone of his voice seemed like he was telling a poor joke. Gillis looked at him, confused.
"How would we know if you weren't the one planning it? How can we trust you?" They kept staring at the enigmatic man in front of them. They heard him sigh loudly: "It doesn't matter whether you trust me or not; the two of you can leave. But the gentleman at the back..." The mysterious man paused and then spoke in a more serious tone, "Dead." He then snaps his fingers, and all the crows and ravens attack the three mercenaries. It seems they have a vendetta against them, which is strange, to say the least. They haven't done anything wrong.
It's as if someone has given them a hate potion. No one knows why or how, but it isn't like they can do much about it anyway. One of the mercenaries manages to grab her other blade and use it to fend off the birds, while the other two take on more. The man wearing a mask snaps his fingers again, and the crow and ravens stop the attack and get back to where he is. "I'm giving you time to leave. The two of you." Gillis and Christina look at each other before agreeing. "Are you sure you let us go?" Gillis asked for the last time.
He opens his beak, and a ghostly, lifeless sound is heard that says, "Yes."
"Sorry, Osso, but we think we should go now. The man has a vendetta with you; please understand." Christina looked at him with sorry eyes before turning her back and walking away from the site, and Gillis followed back before stopping and saying, "This mercenary is now disbanded."
The man, now wearing a diabolical bird mask, laughed while scorning the group with the hoarse sound of an ancient demonic fiddlestick. "O ooh... They just leave you like that?"
Osso, on the other hand, looked at him and said, "It doesn't matter; I don't need them to begin with." He smiled and released his aura. He abruptly dashed toward the man and cleaved his blade at him. However, when he tried to slice the man's shoulder, it didn't work. Instead, the man completely blocked the blade. Osso's body froze, confused, and panicked.
The man then grabbed the scythe from the shadow and started cutting Osso with it, leaving deep scars on Osso's chest. With that, the masked man began chuckling. "Oh, you think this is easy?" Thereafter, he began running towards him, while asking, "What will happen if I cut the legs? Or do I just cut your head off?" He began laughing loudly and continued running towards him. Osso didn't try to escape but rushed to welcome the man's scythe.
He swung his blade from below and clashed it with the other man's weapon. A heavy sound erupted over the entire field when the two blades clashed. The two men stand still, looking at one another. It's silent. "HAHAHA!" Both of them started to laugh. "You're quite a good mask-man," Osso said, and then he put a lot more force into his arms. The mask man didn't reply.
This mysterious man continued to swing his scythe, and the blades collided. After several attacks they've made, both of them jump backward. "I will defeat you in the next round," Osso promised him. Both of them laughed again until they were holding their weapons on their knees. Their breathing is steady and calm. It's like the whole world stopped for a moment.
"What's your name?" Osso asked. "I just didn't know the man who I'll kill today." A smirk appeared on his face, mocking his opponent's ability. The man answered, "Screw." "It's okay if you would rather not tell me your name, because we both know that you are screwed today." Hysterical laughter will be heard throughout the entire battlefield.
"Anyway... I'm Osso. Osso Slatika, from the Slatika tribe..."
"I'm just telling you the name of the man who'll kill you today." After introducing himself, he paused for a moment. His aura changed, and the air surrounding him made him look at the man seriously. "You know the Slatika tribe, right? If not, then you're doomed." His entire body was covered in a bluish aura, and after various seconds, this aura stretched towards his blade, creating an illuminating effect.
"We from Slatika are excelling using our aura. No one can stop us, especially me," he grinned, "the strongest." He tightened his legs muscles before giving a big leap. Once the great force was out, the entire ground behind him was destroyed. Osso appears in front of him. He then swings his blade with the greatest force he can muster, and when his blade touches his mask, a force explosion emerges. The ground rumbled like thunder. After a while, everything seemed to be at peace, except for one person.
"Aww, this is boring…" He rolled his eyes and put his hands on his back. He looked around before looking at the man on the ground. The man's head got squashed by an extreme force while his body was intact, and it looks like his head was buried on the ground. "What an unfortunate sight!" he smiled again. "That must hurt like hell, but you're just so weak!"
He bent down toward the man. When he was close enough to touch his body, he grabbed his hand. He squeezed it before pulling the man up with strength. "Slatika?" He then threw him across the field. "A bunch of wannabes who don't even remember where or when and who teaches them that super simplified technique."
"Ungrateful bit-beep."
After making sure his target was dead. He turned around and looked at the scenery. There wasn't any trace of human life anywhere. "It looks like I have some work to do," he thought to himself before he started running to his next target. But before he could run, a sword flew by and stabbed him in the gut.
