Screw walks outside the town and turns into the woods after leaving Duke Hellene's home. A group of gray wolves were camped out and watching over a shed when he came across them. As Screw rambled in front of them, the gray wolves only glanced at him and made no more movements. Later, he moves to a location close to the lake. They emerge from their hiding location at this point. One wolf comes up and settles down next to him. When Screw turns his head, he notices the dark blue eyes of the white wolf with the black mark on its back. The wolf looks into his lenses and suddenly says, "You seem like you might use some company." The wolf stands up, jumps off a branch on its side, and swims across the lake. The wolf then stops at the edge of the water and looks back at Screw, then disappears into the water with a splash. When the wolf comes out, it appears bigger and sharper than before. [She's beautiful] [The system was mesmerized] "How'd you know she's a girl?" Screw asked while watching the wolf getting out of the water. [Her voice and looks] He whistled to summon and collect the other mutts while saying, "Oh, so that was it... well, she looks hot to be honest." The gray wolves approached Screw one at a time and positioned themselves in front of him like well-drilled soldiers. The stronger wolves are on the back side, and the strongest wolves are in front of the recruits. He told Alyssa to set up a barrier around them as he ignored the white wolf. "And make sure to distort this location," he said. [Deploying barrier] [Distorting space] [Activating Blank Space] It created an invisible wall around the area where Screw and the pack were standing. Eyesight visibility is the only aspect of this combo that does not function flawlessly. When a barrier was erected in front of her, dividing her from the other wolves and him, the white wolf was surprised. She gave him a forlorn glance. She thought at first that he was fond of her and felt she was attractive when he whistled, "Why didn't I move next to that man?" The white wolf begins to plan her next move. She attempted to cross past the barrier, but when she did, she saw that the area was warped and that a fog had begun to appear. She created a little magic circle with her claw and began to perform her spell, "Magic Break," while mesmerizing, "Oh, what a fantastic spell he dropped here, but this is not good enough to stop me." [Warning!] [An unknown trespasser wants to break the Barrier skill.] "I know Alyssa, I even heard her two words chant." [The system will cast another skill] "No, leave it to me. I would like to know if that thing can stop my spell." Screw reached into his belt pouch for a needle and pricked his fingertip. Before casting a spell, he let the blood run. "Make me believe, oh emptiness, under the suffering of the shadow garden," he cries as a shadow appears from his blood and swallows everything inside. Though they were alarmed, the wolves made no attempt to move. In order to prevent the intruder from being consumed by the magic, the system changed her barrier. Only he and the shed were now within the barrier's perimeter. The white wolf was shocked to see the barrier shrink and realize that she had already left it. She delayed her previous spell and added another to it before attempting to jump to the opposite side of the lake in order to enter the barrier once more. "He altered the barrier?" the white wolf said as she peered out into the distance. "You think you can stop me?" She leaped and was forced to enter the barrier again, but went confused when she got inside. "There's nothing here. Where's everyone?" The white wolf stopped for awhile. She tried to track down the man using her nose, but suddenly she got passed out a second later. "What am I doing here?" The wolf pondered for a minute but still couldn't figure it out. She couldn't remember what she was doing until now. For her, it seems she was hit by a spell. She tried to cast a spell to be certain. When the spell didn't work, she decided to go back to the mansion. ***** Inside the shadow world, Screw and the wolves hunt. Falling through empty voids of darkness, the wolf's paw steps echo on a hard, icy ground. There are no obstacles to be found in this land of perpetual night. only an endless sky above, below, and ahead; and below that, nothingness all around. The sky is as black as ink. Not everyone is a wolf. Despite the wind's blowing, they can hear its cry. Something is moving in the shadows deep down there—an animal, it must be either a little child or a wild creature similar to them. Alternatively, things might be worse. Even though they may appear little or frail, there is a monster at the bottom of these holes that must be killed, and they don't want to watch what happens when kids play there. Screw, look at the pack once more, and an evil grin appeared: "Alright dogs, you're here to die; whoever survives gets the meat." Upon hearing his command, the wolf pack fell upon it with ferocious speed. Some of them tear away the legs and tails, while others tear into the neck. There were few cries as their prey writhed under them, trying to escape from their hungry jaws. Soon, their victim was nothing but bones and blood on the cold forest floor. After finishing their dinner, they were now dozing off while still gazing up at him. They all sat motionless and looked at him eagerly as he grinned down upon them all and remarked, "Great work." Each of them was ready to get their gift, which their Lord had given them in abundance. He added, "I believe I will give you a taste of the meat your pack will consume tonight." [Will this be okay?] "It will." [This is my shadow world] "My garden… yes" [Remember the last time I use it?] "To massacre? Yeah,~" a wicked grin showed on his face. [I don't like your state right now.] Every single one of the wolves suddenly felt intense pain from their veins to their muscles and bones. The agony was so excruciating that they immediately collapsed on the ground, screaming in agony. They had not expected this at all! It was as if they were being tortured by something inside their own bodies. Their hearts were pounding with a force they did not know was possible while their entire body was shaking uncontrollably, but most importantly, it hurt! The feeling of a wolf dying inside was beyond them. They could only lie there, crying out with every bit of strength they still had left. Their limbs were too weak to even move anymore. They heard footsteps slowly approaching from afar. All of a sudden, someone kneeled down beside them, making their hearts flutter like crazy. "Shh, calm down," a soft voice murmured gently, trying hard to help them calm down. "Everything's going to be alright now. You'll be alright." They felt warmth touching each of their furs, along with the gentle touch of two hands caressing their heads. They opened their eyes in surprise. A beautiful woman with the lips of an angel, caressing their body gently to ease the pain. Her black hair and bluish scarf danced with the wind, and a scent of flowers loomed between their bodies and souls. ***** Back to the current time, when Gura got beaten badly by a man, Osso chuckled at Gura as he placed his lips over her ears. "No one will save you," Osso smiled as he drew away, adding, "Good luck with what little you have left." Gura didn't respond as she watched Osso walk off. A single tear slid down her face before closing her eyes for a second, and when she opened them, she gazed at him furiously. He got more excited when he saw her eyes—furious eyes that would tear his soul. But he was interrupted when he heard several footsteps from afar. There were several feet racing in his direction, and as he readied his weapon, he felt relaxed when he saw a lone wolf leap and advance at Gura before biting her collar. As soon as he did, he abruptly changed into a bigger shape. The wolf now had blue plumage and silver hair, and it released an intense electrical shock wave that made Osso lose his grip and jump back instinctively. After that, the wolf fled while carrying her on his back. "So that bastard has a familiar?" Osso exclaimed in shock as he violently slammed the ground. "This will not be simple, I promise you," he said as he stared at the tiny thing with utter contempt. ----- During the fight between Gura and Osso, somewhere on the other side, another pair of eyes were watching. An orange flame burned brightly on his arm, and another small, bluish flame danced around his hand. The two flames complimented each other, making it burn brightly.
