I stormed out of the room and went straight to her, Tori" the tension in my voice got her mystified, "yes sis?" She says donning a startled look.
"Tell me the truth!!! What are you hiding?" (Fills up the space between us)
"What are you saying!! Am not hiding anything?". She says and withdrew her steps away from me.
"You tell me, sister, I heard that you're getting married in a month," ( frowns)
"Yes, I am, you did know about" she added and watched me recon back to the past, "did you tell me?".
"Yes, you must have forgotten?" She falls her back on the wall and falls her eyes away.
Tori's attitude got me thinking, what is she hiding from me, and why won't she tell me?". ( My that's heading )
"Okay then!! Goodnight sister" ( my feet veered out of the room).
The next morning), I walked out of bed while everyone was seated in the dining room, "good morning everyone*. Seats next to Tori, and waited for mom to serve us the room.
Thereafter, mom walks out of the kitchen and placed a bowl of soup on the table, she drops a smile and watched left to her seat, only to withdraw back the second Tori drops to the floor unconscious.
"Sister" I ran to her aid and tried to wake her up.
Mom out of fear, called the doctor, thus a few seconds later, he walks through the front door.
"Doctor please help" mom calls out to him, as he fills up the distance between.
We all looked tensed as he runs a check on her, a few minutes later, he falls his eyes back and said, "congratulation, she's pregnant"?
( Shocked look on our faces)
"What?" Mom and I yelled out in disbelief.
"She's pregnant" the doctor tried to rephrase his words, but gets cut short by mom, "thank you doctor, and yes!! We are all happy".
Tori kept a norm attitude, I wonder what's going on, did she get pregnant for a man who's not only a liar but also a threat in our lives.
Tori gets her consciousness and falls her eyes to me, "sister" she gets up from the couch donning a tried look.
"What happened?" Adds up her words only to take heed of Mom's furious tone, "you're pregnant?"
From a far distance, she yelled to out hearing.
"Mom, I can explain" Tori falls back on her feet as mom furiously gets close to her.
"Tell me, who's responsible?"
She says to her while looking from a far distance.
Thus after much persuading, she lets out a name to us, "it's Julian, his responsibility for it".
"Urgh!! Of cause, she gets pregnant for a man like that ( there my head talking).
All of a Sudden the anger in her tone, Changed and she said, "call him right now".
"Yes ma'am" Tori without altering a single word, phoned him to call home.
You can say I watched everything without altering a single word, thus after a few hours, Julian steps in through the front door, only to have a glass cup tossed at him.
"What the hell?" He shifts his head to decern the building tension.
"Is everything the matter mom?". ( He fills up the space donning a curious look)
"Do you really wanna know?"
Mom says
"Yes ma'am, what's going on" ( his eyes fall on Tori who couldn't bear to lookup).
" Hey!! Look at me" mom Snapped his eyes back, " my dear Julian Walker!!! My daughter is pregnant for you, we only just found out now".
"What?" He drops a startled look as I quietly listened to his comeback.
He saw me from afar and ran up close to Tori, "why didn't you tell me?". ( Julian inquired, Tori, veers back and saw me ambling away from the living room, she excused herself and went after me.
"Sister!! Can we talk?" She veers back my attention, "talk about what?" I drone a frown.
The look on my face signaled I wasn't pleased by the news, so she said, "am sorry, sister!!!! Please forgive me".
"Forgive you about what? Did you at least think before doing such and on a serious note!! Why do such?".  ( I said)
Tori opens up her mouth to speak rather than fall back, the second Julian called out to her from the living room.
"Go?" I add
"No!! She adds up also and drew me in for a warm hug. " Please forgive me?".
I listened and watched her contemplating,  to herself, it's either this is another plan of Mr. Ajay's or maybe, she's truly pregnant but first I need to know more
"It's okay sis!!! Go meet Julian". ( Her feet frozen to the ground, but after seeing the look on my face, she left me alone.
( The whole day ran by the speed of light, somehow, Alvin her about the news and stormed into my room.
"Is it true? Is Tori pregnant?".( He inquired from me)
"Yes, she's pregnant?".I affirmed his words.
"Oh my goodness!! This is quite a problem?". ( He drops to the bed, and waited for me to speak)
"Hmm" I hummed and looked through the window, Tori strolls outside Julian, I could hear her giggling from my room.
"Lisa, what's are we going to do?". ( Alvin drips my eyes over)
"I don't know Alvin!!! But trust me, everything will fall into place, do not worry". I said when a call came from Bryan.
"Hello Bryan," I said as he walked out of the room.
The day, Alvin returned to the room after a while, "Lisa!! Can we talk?". He says staring at me, "what's up?" In a cold tone, I asked.
"Come with me?". He wears a smile on his face.
I walked out behind, as we both stepped out of the garden,  to see it was decorated with illuminating lights.
"What's this?*. I asked as he walked further away and after a while, stepped in holding onto two cups of hot cocoa.
"Do you mind?" He passed a cup to me.
I smiled, "thank you, Alvin"
We shared a moment under the stars, truly all I needed was a timeout because it seems like the more I try to protect my sister the deeper she gets herself involved. ( Frowns), the soothing atmosphere danced around me, to a point I slept on Alvin's shoulders, he smiles and gently rub my hair off my face, and carried me up in his arms, back to my room.
( Silence takes over as it drifts to the next morning)
Question of the day!.
1) what will happen now that Tori is pregnant!! But the question is? Is she truly pregnant?.
2) Lisa seems to the stuck between a rock and a hard place!!! Can she save her sisters from Mr. Ajay's mind games?
3) can everything fall into place In her life, when all she sees is incoming turmoil, will Lisa be able to save her family and finally get a chance to expose Julian for the fraud he is, will Lisa be the heart's fire she's destines to be.
