"Engagement party"
It was time for the engagement party,  I walked out and met everywhere illuminating in flashing lights and with a huge sign above that reads, "TWO SOUL INTO ONE".
"Damn, you look beautiful Miss danger?".
Somehow my eyes drift away and fall on Alvin's face, he take a hold of two Champagne glasses and passed one over to me.
"Thank you". I said, reeling them once more to a couple of the nights. ( Tori and Jason).
They swiftly announced their presence.
Tori donned a huge smile on her face, ambling next to Jason, he takes short notice of me in the crowd and slyly smiled his way over to the podium.
The MC of the party takes a hold of the microphone and introduced them for the second time,  not once did Tori stop smiling.
"She must be in love?". ( That's my head talking),  suddenly the lights went off, looming darkness everywhere.
My feet ambled further to get a hold of the circuit box outside the house but halt when the light turned back on.
"Tori?".
Immediately I veered my eyes over to the podium, to infer a scared look on Jason's face.
He ran out of the podium and accidentally bumped into me.
"Lisa?". ( Startled at my sight)
I Poked back my eyes aback noting Tori's absence.
"Where's my sister?". I said in a tense mood.
He gains his hand up to his head and said, "Lisa!! I don't know where Is she but I who might be behind this". He forms a scared glare on.
"Who?". I asked
"Mr. Ajay" he announced, plastering a shocked look on our faces.
Mom walks out of the crowd and vents her anger at him.
"Excuse me!! What are you saying, how the hell did you know, about Mr. Ajay?". She says, Falling her questionable eyes on me.
"Don't look at me mom!! Please ask your soon-to-be-loved son-in-law". ( Frowns as she returns her attention to him)
"Ma'am!! Truly there's a lot to answer for but now! Tori's life is in danger and we have got to save her before something bad happens".
Mom kept a wary look at him, "hmm!! Okay, but the question is, where do we find her?".
"You'll see ma'am, but please stay here and let Lisa and Alvin follow me".
"Come to where?". I got aggrieved by his words, "what do you mean!! Of cause to come to save your sister, do you want to save her?". He waits to hear my response.
So I said, " yes, I do want to save my sister, but please tell me who's a fault it is if she's in danger!!! Yours, Jason you're working for Mr. Ajay and before you lie, I'll advise you to think it true ".
"Excuse me, Lisa what do are you saying!!". Mom gained my attention back.
"Why don't you ask!! Jason here, he's the one who's the devil here?".
( Eyes withdrew from mom to him).
"Jason!! Is that true?".  Mom asked, donning itchy ears.
( We all waited to hear his response, when a call, came through his phone).
Jason takes a step backward, and picked up the call, from a far distance I anxiously watched him pace like a scared chicken.
Thus he veers back to me and said, "Lisa, Mr. Ajay wants to see you".
"Why?". Alvin steps into the conversation, in a fit of rage.
"Why does Mr. Ajay wants Lisa?"? He adds up his words.
So he says, "I don't know Alvin but trust me, Lisa isn't the one he wishes to see!! He also wants to see you and put an end to this drama once and for all.
(Chapter ends, as we all looked at each other).
I had every right to torn on mom's face my adamancy to unveil the truth, Jason takes us directly to Mr. Ajay as we stopped in front of an old cottage.
"Where's he?"
I said when we heed of someone cocking a gun behind, in a headcount, Alvin and I moved our attention back to decern the same person whom we came for, pointing a gun at us.
"Hello, Lisa!! Long time for see" Mr. Ajay says, and takes notice of Alvin beside."wow!! And hello to you my dear stepson?". He adds up and returns his eyes over to me.
I know playing the tug game with Mr. Ajay won't get me to what I want and the reasons why I'm here, ( that's my head talking, and now my mouth weaves out the exact words) "so tell me Mr. Ajay!! What do you want, giving that, you went insane the last time we saw and most importantly!! Where the hell is my sister?".
He ( Mr. Ajay) smiles at my question and sews my eyes behind to infer Tori tied down.
"Now have you met your sister?".
Mr. Ajay gets back my attention, I squeezed my hands outraged by his words, thus the second, my feet ambled forward, Alvin pushed me back and said, "Mr. Ajay!! I do know that whatever happening is has a result of the hate you have for me, but can you please not do anything to Lisa's family, it's my fault and I'm supposed to be the one punished and not someone else.
"Hahaha". He laughed at his statement, wracking his, "oh wow!! What a gentleman you are, Alvin Fisher, and did you think, that I don't know you're to blame for everything happening and yes!! Do you want to know the reason, why Lisa is paying a part of your sins?". ( Paused for a while but continued speaking, after seeing how itchy we were to hear his response, so he says and I quote) "it's because, ever since your mom died, Lisa has been your source to leave!! And no matter how much I try to make you pay; I won't be successful, as long as Lisa's here with you, alas to have you both understand my words, Lisa here is your strength, and if I want to get you begging on your knees!! Is by getting the one thing my stepson value more than his life, loses her only sister".
( Eyes locked as I ran a startled look on my face).
My feet took a step backward still startled, Alvin gets me balanced and while trying to snap me out of my shocked state,  something was going on behind our backs.
"Lisa!! Are you okay". Alvin swifts me close to him, I managed to gain access to his glare, when a vase drops to the floor.
( We beered and saw Jason trying to get Tori loosed).
"You!!! How dare you?". Mr. Ajay gunned the pistol over to them, Jason takes a form of a night in shining armor and took it in front of Tori, who kept a scared look on.
"Mr. Ajay!! Please let us not do anything we might regret?" He says trying to sway him down, rather Mr. Ajay holds out the gun at them.
I had to do something, now his attention has been diverted elsewhere, Alvin shops my eyes over to a glass bottle placed at the side and slowly fills up the distance to get a hold of it, while his attention was kept busy by Jason.
"What do you mean, Jason and why are going against me!! Remember this isn't what we planned, or perhaps do you not wish to help me seek revenge on Lisa, because you're now going to be a father to the sister of the same person I asked you to kill.
( Sly smiled).
