Note: Fight scenes ahead. If in any way you are uncomfortable, you can skip this.
Serena's POV
"Cheska, are you okay?" I ask while I am holding her.
Calla run into our direction when she saw what happened.
Cheska smiled a little. "I am okay. I think I only had a little scar."
"Cheska, do you know what you did is dangerous? What if Serena isn't able to kill that beast?!" Calla said.
She immediately pulled Cheska as they return at the barrier.
I stood up and look at our surrounding. Everything is a mess. There are lots of lifeless body everywhere. Even the trees and the houses around are already destroyed.
Fights are here and there. Their are almost thousands of the people of Rivendell. And if this continues, we will lost.
I extended my both arms and I was able to summon two huge purple balls. I quickly released it as it flew to different direction. Blinding purple lights were everywhere. And it killed our enemies around in one snap.
Emerald told me when I had my last check up with her that the reason why I was unconscious for days after I passed out when we are at Rviola is because I already awaken my true magic. The purple light magic. She said I should always be careful because my magic could bring a big destruction to things around me and to myself as well.
Our soldiers quickly left and went to other place to help our other companions when they saw that I already killed all our enemies. I was also about to leave when someone spoke behind me.
"I didn't know you owned the purple light magic that is lost for thousand of years."
That voice. I recognize it. I turned around and I was right. It was Heila. At first, I thought the woman who looks like a clown is different from her but it turns out it was her. She was able to change her appearance that time but I am sure that she is that woman because Mom showed me her photo.
I immediately release two purple balls and it flew right at her direction but she was able to dodge it so it landed at the walls. The walls quickly collapsed. I gasped in shock and Heila get it as a chance as she threw dark balls at me.
And it hit me. Due to its impact, I was thrown far away. I wince in pain when my back hit the tree before I fell at the ground.
"Ohmygod Serena!" I heard Calla shouted even if I am already far from were she is.
I won't deny it, Heila is really strong. I already proven that when we first fought in the forest in our school.
"I expect you to become stronger Serena but guess I was wrong." She said smirking.
I scoffed at her as I stand up on my feet. "You are wrong." I said bravely even if I am actually nervous and scared.
I secretly send invisible sharp fire blades to her direction.
"And why would I--" she stopped talking when the fire blades hit her.
The black cloak she was wearing were burned. She silently cursed when the blood dripped from her shoulders to her hands. There are also little scars on her other shoulder.
I quickly release many more fire blades. Following it with air arrows not giving her the chance to attack me again.
She was able to dodge everything when she disappeared to where she is standing just like what she did way back at the forest.
"Not so fast darling." she said but I couldn't see her.
She's doing it again. She's using her invisibility power. I look around to find her but she's nowhere to be seen.
"Fight fair Heila! Show up!" I demanded.
"Fight fair?," She asked then she laughed. "You attack me with your invisible fire blades. You can't blame me if I'll do the same."
I created a barrier around me to protect myself but I wasn't able to finish it when a sharp blade hit my shoulders and my knees.
I seated at the ground as I touch my shoulders and I winced because it hurts although it is slowly healing.
I was dodging every dark balls from Heila but with every dodge, the dark balls multiplies. I still can't see her around. I needed to think of a solution. I look at the ground and sigh. I needed to try my luck.
I created a magic ball and step into it. When I stepped at it, I flew up at the sky. I didn't know I can actually do it. The last time Jester thought me, I can't even fly atleast one meter. I released many fire balls down. This is my chance to do it now that I am here up high. But after doing it, I flew back at the ground because I am having a hard time controlling the magic ball that is making me fly.
"Not bad." Heila said as she finally showed up. She is just a meter away from me.
She is looking at me and she suddenly became serious. Her aura is now different compared earlier where she keeps on smiling and smirking at me.
"I'm not going easy on you anymore." She said seriously and she disappeared from my sight again.
Following her disappearance, a dark smoke encircled me. It's very thick and I almost can't see my surrounding. And then a thick dark smoke also encircled my knees and feet. I was trying hard to remove my feet from it but I can't.
"Well, well, well. Finally."
I heard Heila's voice. And if I am not mistaken, she is just infront of me. All I can see is the dark smoke so I can't see her.
"I thought I'll be having a hard time but then you are actually easy to defeat Serena." She said then she laughed a devil's laugh.
And then sharp dark balls hit me. But I counter it with my fire balls but it isn't enough. The dark balls are too many. And the thick smoke that is encircling me is coming closer at me. I can't breathe properly because of it.
The sharp dark ball hit my cheeks and I screamed in pain. I winced yet again in pain when my shoulders were hit by a blade. I had lots of wounds and scars that my healing power isn't able to heal them anymore.
My tears started to fall. Both because of pain and because of the thought that I might not survive this. But when I remembered my Mom, Aya, Calla, Max and Jester, I was given the urge to fight. I will still make fun memories with Aya, Calla, Jas and Max. I will still accompany Mom on her duties here at Cassopeia. And Jester. I love him. I didn't even got the chance to tell him that.
The dark smoke is so close to me and I can't breathe anymore. Sharp dark balls are still hitting me continuesly and I felt like my whole body is paralyzed by pain. But I breathe in. I am going to fight. Using the little strength that I have, I released a huge purple light ball.
It exploded and I didn't expect it's huge impact. I almost pass out when my head hit the ground after successfully releasing myself from the thick smoke. The trees around were uprooted when the light ball touched it. Even the walls around crushed down. Everything was a mess. Almost all the trees and houses that is near us were destroyed by the purple ball.
I was too shocked. I didn't expect that it is strong. I am panting and I can feel the blood trickling from my scars and cuts. From afar, I saw Heila. She's lying at the ground. But she was able to stand up again.
She wipe the blood that trickled down her face. "This is not yet the end Serena. If you think this is the end, you are wrong. I didn't tried so hard to finally free myself from that cave just to be killed by someone like you." She said, her voice are full of anger.
I am too weak already and if I push myself further, I might die.
She was about to send another dark smoke my way when Jester showed up and he was able to counter it.
"Jester.."
He also had lots of bruises and scars. A blood is even trickling from his scar on his knees. I am even more nervous.
"I see, your prince charming is here to save you." Heila said smirking. "Wouldn't it be nice if both of you will die? Atleast, you will still be together." and then she laughed non stop.
I almost wanted to rip her mouth. I hate the sound of her laugh.
"You will never succeed on your plans Heila. Remember that." Jester answered her.
Then he released a huge fire ball and it exploded right to where Heila is. The surrounding was full of smoke because of the explosion.
Heila got wounds from the explosion and her cloak was completely burned. And she was looking at Jester with her fierce eyes.
I was shocked when everything that is surrounding us were floating in the air. The trees, the stones and the broken bricks and as Heila snap her finger, all of those targeted Jester.
"JESTER!!" I screamed.
I force myself from standing up but I quickly fell back at the ground because of the wound in my knees. I am so scared and I cried when I saw Jester's situation. He is able to counter the attack with fire balls but there are too many stones and bricks that is attacking him.
I sigh and tried to control all those trees and stones. Good thing I can control the earth element. I wasn't able to stop the stones and the trees from attacking Jester completely because I am already too weak.
When I remembered the crystal ball that Mom gave me. She said this will help me. And this is the right time for me to use it.
With my trembling hands, I hold the necklace like my life is at stake. Silently hoping this will help us. After a minute, a bright light came into my view that made me shut my eyes.
When my eyes adjusted into the light, I look around and saw a woman wearing a white cloak. Her silver hair was freely moving into the wind. She looks familiar. And then I remembered. She was the woman in white cloak who had been saving me whenever I am in trouble.
She slowly turn around to me and when she's finally facing me where I could finally see her face, I gasped.
"Mom..."
