Third Person's POV
Light will always defeat darkness.
Two weeks had already passed after the dreadful war but it was a beautiful day at Cassopeia.
Slowly, everyone united to fix the messy surroundings brought upon by the Rivendells.
Although their are casualties, they are glad and thankful that the war is over.
"Can I visit here again?" Cheska asked.
She had fallen inlove with the place when she first saw it that's why she wanted to visit again.
Aya, Calla and Jas inihatid. They were standing at Cassopeia's gate. Because of the war between Cassopeia and Rivendell, she wasn't able to leave that day. She had stayed for almost two weeks at Cassopeia but it was already her time to leave.
The trio didn't gave an answer because the truth is, once Cheska stepped out of Cassopeia, she will be forgetting all that she know and everything that she saw inside Cassopeia.
This is one of Cassopeia's rule. No ordinary people will know about the existence of Cassopeia especially magic to avoid conflict between ordinary people.
But Calla still nodded as an answer. In her thought, Cheska will be forgetting everything so.
"Thank you for your help Cheska. Right, the necklace of Miss Scarlet, you can have that." Calla told her.
Cheska said her thank you as she waved her good bye. Aya and Jas were even shook when she hugged them. Yes they had seen her several times at Trinity High but they aren't close.
Cheska then bid her goodbye even if she really doesn't want to leave.
"Where is Serena?" Aya asked.
They are already walking back at Pavilion hall where Max is waiting for them after they waited for Cheska to leave.
"Are you really asking that? If we can't find Serena, you already know where we can find her." Calla stated in a matter of fact tone.
Jas laughed. "Yeah right. What if let's just go there?"
They stopped walking as they are thinking if they are going to where Max is or to where Serena is. They look at each others eyes and it was as if they got the message when they all turned right.
They burst out laughing. They have been together for so long that they already know how each other's mind work.
While Max, he was patiently waiting at the Pavilion hall without knowing that he is waiting for no one since they changed their route.
When the three arrive to the private room where Jester is, they all shook their head at the scene that welcome them.
Serena is seating at the side of the bed where Jester is lying down unconscious. Her jaw is resting at her hands while she is staring at Jester.
Erin and Jester were able to survive that day. Scarlet was fast enough and she was able to prevent Erin. That is why she is only able to convert a half of her magic.
And Emerald arrive just right in time. She was able to heal Jester but not fully but atleast, he was saved.
Serena's POV
"Gosh Serena. Stop staring at Jester. He'll going to melt soon yet he didn't even woke up."
I fixed my seating position when I hear Calla's voice. And behind her is Aya and Jas who is both laughing.
I rolled my eyes at them. Why do they just suddenly showed up?
"I thought you said you had a picnic today?" I ask.
"We have," Jas answered as she walk near me. "But ofcourse, were not going to leave if you will not come with us."
Jas immediately cling in my right arm while Aya cling in my left arm. And they started dragging me out.
"Wait.. hey!" I protested but they didn't stop.
Calla is on my back and she's pushing me. They told me yesterday that we will be going out for a picnic but I refuse. I'd rather stay at Jester's room and wait for him to wake up than to go out.
They said they won't bother me anymore after I turned down their offer but here they are dragging me.
"How could you do this to me?" I said dramatically. I even fake a tear but Jas knock me in my head.
"Don't start a drama with us. You have been staying at Jester's room for almost two weeks already. You also need to breathe fresh air." She said to me.
Well that's true. Ever since I woke up and knew that Jester isn't healed yet, I always look over him. Though I'm glad Mom was safe. Good thing Miss Scarlet was able to prevent Mom.
I can't believe I'll be at a point where I meed to choose who's gonna live among Mom and Jester. I also don't know what happened next that day because when I saw Mom holding Jester's hands, I pass out. Maybe because of too much pain.
When we arrived at the river, the view was enchanting. I didn't know there's a river here. The water was crystal clear. The stones have different colors and there are different flowers and trees around.
Jas set up the picnic mat that they got and they prepared the food. There's ice cream, cookies, chocolates and fruits.
After they set it up, we seated at the picnic map.
"It's beautiful right?" Calla ask me while smiling.
I sigh.
"It would be more beautiful if Jester is here."
They all stop what they are doing when they heard what I said. They all look at me unbelievably.
"What?" I innocently ask.
But they shook their head like they can't believe how foolish I am.
I pouted at them. "It looks like Jester isn't your friend. Why do you seem to hate that he's here?"
"It's not like that Serena but my god, almost everyday, you only talk about him." Aya said.
"Don't find who's not here Serena." Jas added.
"That's why I am looking for Jester because he's not here. You're not going to find who's already here right?" I said at Jas.
But they all just rolled their eyes at me. I glared at them. Whatever. What can I do? I fell real hard.
It was late in the afternoon when they said we'll go for a swim. I wanted to say no but I thought of just going with their trip since they really put an effort so I could go out.
I smiled while I was looking at them. This was definitely one of the days that I will treasure.
I was about to follow Calla in the river where she is already swimming when someone suddenly came.
If I could remember well, this is one of the students in the Academy.
I was just looking at her waiting for what she has to tell. Even Jas who is in my side stopped.
I furrowed my brows because she's too afraid to speak.
"Why, is there a problem?" Jas ask her.
She then look at me as she sigh.
"Jester.."
