Serena's POV
"What happened to you?" I ask Cheska, confused.
She have lots of bruises in her arms. She also had small scars everywhere. I was walking at the hallway when she approaches me.
"Long story." she answered. Then she look around before speaking again. "Can we talk Serena?"
Even if I am confused, I nodded at her. My class just finished and I am about to go home at Cassopeia. I was planning to drop my subject here at Trinity High but it's a loss if I'll drop it so I will just continue it.
"But not here," she said. "Who knows, your mortal enemy might be lurking around."
I raise an eyebrow at her. "What do you mean?"
I stared at her and she was not manipulated. Her eyes were brown. But what is she saying?
"I know your secret Serena. But don't worry, I won't tell it anyone. Now, I wanted to help you. Even just on simple ways." She said in a tiny voice. She's being careful like someone might hear what she's saying.
I immediately pulled her away from the hallway. I don't know how the hell did she knew about everything but it is definitely not safe that we will talk here. We immediately teleported when I made sure no one is around the lockers room. I was holding her hand so she was pulled when I teleported.
"Woah I almost pass out there." She said.
We teleported to Calla's room. Calla was even shocked when we popped out infront of her.
"Why did you bring her here?" Calla whispered to me.
"She already knows." I whispered back that made her shook.
"Hello I am here. Maybe you wanted to join me in your conversation," Cheska suddenly said.
I look at her and she's already sitting at our bed.
"Feel at home huh." Calla told her but she just smiled.
"Spill the tea." I immediately told her.
I don't know how she got to know about everything so I wanted her to tell me everything that she knows.
"I know you guys had magic. I saw how you summoned one when we are being chased at the forest so don't you dare lie to me."
I rolled my eyes at her. I didn't know she saw that.
"So?" Calla asked her.
"The woman who always talks to me came unexpectedly that day. I followed her because I said maybe I can get some information that can help you but I tripped in the forest so I had bruises."
"Forest?" Calla asked confused.
Cheska nodded. "Yes. That's where she went. She tried to manipulate me again but it didn't work. I think that's because of the necklace you gave me Serena."
"Necklace? Wait, you don't own that?" I asked.
I remember the necklace she is talking about. That means, she don't own that one?
She nodded as she pulled out the necklace that is hanging on her neck. "This. She always succeed in manipulating me but for some reason, that day she failed. And I think it's because of this."
Then she showed to us the pendant of the necklace. Calla examined the necklace and soon, she pointed at the necklace like she remembered something.
"Miss Scarlet owns that." She muttered. "That is why you said the woman didn't succeed on manipulating you again."
That made me think. That explains why Miss Scarlet already knew that Heila is not in the cave anymore since they already went there before us.
"That makes sense." I said.
"Miss Scarlet? Who is that?" Cheska asked.
"Stop asking. You won't meet her so don't bother." Calla told Cheska.
Calla's really a little bitchy when it comes to Cheska.
"I am just asking." Cheska replied.
And before they start arguing again, I spoke to stop them.
"Cheska, thank you because even if you are always angry at me.."
"I am not angry at you anymore." She corrected.
I smiled. "Okay. Now that you know about our identity, I hope this will remain as a secret. Another thing, yiu don't need to bother. We will be the one to solve our own problem. I don't want you to be in trouble. It's already enough for me that we are now okay and that you won't tell anyone about what you had discovered."
Cheska nodded at me. "Okay if that's what you want. But if you need help, just tell me."
I nodded in response but I would not definitely do that. I don't want to put her in trouble.
"Right, can I keep this?" She asked, holding the necklace.
I look at Calla but she shrugged.
"Sure." I said. I'll just tell Miss Scarlet about it. Besides this will atleast make Cheska safe from being used again and again.
"Come on. Let's go back at school or let's just go back at your house?" I asked.
"In our house." she answered. "I hope this isn't the last time we'll see each other."
"Ofcourse Cheska. We'll definitely see each other." I assured her.
Cheska and Calla waved at each other. I held her hand but before we could leave, the door suddenly swung open and Aya entered panting heavily.
"Serena.. Calla.. outside is a mess.. the Rivendells they're here.."
My eyes widen. "WHAT?!" Calla and I shouted.
We quickly went out and I even forgot Cheska is with us. Good thing she followed us.
"Where is Mom?" I ask Aya while we are running.
"She's in another village. You knew how wide Cassopeia is. We are in deep trouble. Almost every village were invaded by them. Aside from the wild beasts, Heila's soldiers are also here." Aya explained.
"Shit." I muttered when we are finally outside.
Everything is a mess because aside from the soldiers of Rivendell, they were also beasts everywhere.
"Serena I am scared.." Cheska said in a shaking voice.
I look at her. I almost forgot that she's here. I immediately created a barrier around Calla and her.
"Just stay here." I instructed them.
I look at Aya as we nod at each other.
We summoned a flower. Specifically a rose. But this one is deadly. It can deal a heavy damage to wherever it lands. We released them at once. And repeated again.
"Where is Jester?" I ask as I release a wave of air blades this time.
"They are in another village. Right, he reminded me to say that you should be careful. So please do Serena. I'll be at fault if ever." Aya said before leaving me to help our people.
We had soldiers here at Cassopeia pero but it isn't enough for us to defeat them. They attacked us unexpectedly. And we didn't even prepare for it.
I showered lots of air blades. Actually, Mom told me not to abuse myself but the situation calls. And I needed to do something. I'm not gonna just stand and just see Cassopeia's people die in the hands of Rivendell's. Not on my watch.
I created a magic barrier for our people especially the kids. They can't fight. Good thing Calla and Cheska is doing a good job. They are calling everyone at the barrier. The magic barrier that I created was big enough to accommodate many.
I summon the deadly rose and accompany it with air spikes. It went to the direction of the huge birds along the sky. They look ordinary but they  actually eat people. The deadly rose and the air spikes exploded to many more little roses and air spikes and it killed all the huge beast that are up in the sky. I also summoned another and spread it at the entire Cassopeia. I learned that magic technique from Jester. You can create magic balls and you can send them everywhere that you wanted them to go. And they will kill your enemy even if you are far from them.
I was busy attacking the beast infront of me and I didn't saw the magic ball that is coming into my direction. And before I could dodge it, I was shocked when Cheska run into my direction and immediately hugged me. I was able to move and we avoided the magic ball but then the beast infront of us growl.
"CHESKA!!"
