"Miss! I'm Krishaina Alexa Vandelmort, are you done calling my name already?" I ventured to ask.
"Yes Miss Vandelmort, you can apply next time alright?" She replied with a smile.
No... No... This can't be...I wish I had been hired, I was just late for the interview, I wish I could have a job in just a few steps. I slowly walked to the elevator.
"MISS!" I turned to the person who called me.
"Why?" I promise to hold back my sobs, LEGIT as if I was crushed because of what happened.
"You're hired and you passed the interview!" I frowned at what he was saying.
"Maybe you're just making a mistake" I smiled at him sadly and entered the elevator.
"Wait!" I immediately pressed the open because I thought he was going to ride.
"My secretary said that you're hired and you just ignore her?" My forehead wrinkled when the man I bumped into earlier said.
"Employee? So you mean you're the boss?" He nodded.
"Don't make me laugh, duh!" I put it on him and entered the elevator again.
"Aish!" He said no apologies.
Wait, is he telling the truth? Well, earlier he was just wearing a shirt, then he was walking down the hallway and bumped into me.
"W-WAIT!" I shouted and got out of the elevator to chase him.
"S-sorry sir, I didn't know that you're my boss. I-I'm r-really, really sorry for my words." I said sincerely but he was fast to walk.
"Sir!" I even called him because he kept walking until he entered a room.
I followed him and entered where he entered.
"WHAT THE F*DGE!" I turned around because I saw him getting dressed.
"Don't you know how to knock? Tsk!" He sneered at me.
"I-is it over?" I bit my lip and asked.
"Yeah" he replied sparingly so I turned to face him BUT! P*KENING SHINING, SHIMMERING, SPLENDID! I turned around again when I saw that he was really naked! No clothing except boxers.
"I-I'll go first" I panicked holding the door knob.
"If you leave this place then your fired." He said so seriously that I faced him again, he was wearing formal attire but no neck tie yet.
"So when will I start?" I raised my eyebrows and asked.
Is he grumpy? I'm more grumpy MWHAHAHAHA!
"Now" he said as he sat down in the swivel chair.
"As in now?!" I was surprised to respond.
"Yes, but as my chef assistant" he responded coldly and as if there was a disease there.
"So let's go? Where's your uniform, by the way you need to cook 13 dishes in 2 hours first." I nodded.
(My ghaad! I remember our JDVP as we were all in super stress because of the 13 dishes and none of them should be cooked by batch, but I'm happy 'cause I'm able to make it and now I'm NC II PASSER .)
He went out and I followed, I think we were going to the kitchen so I could start. When I got there, there were people cooking, I smiled at them and they did the same.
A F T E R TWO HOURS GOTCHA!
I'm done, yeheyyy! I have served the canapé, salad, main dish, and others at the long table. The other head chefs and several assistants were lined up there, were you looking at me seriously, sir? Sir, what is its name? Elijah? I read his name tag.
"Let the taste test begin!" The chef in black shouted and clapped three more times.
I'm nervous about the outcome and their decision, my becoming an assistant chef for you sir Elijah depends on them. "Ms. Vandelmort please go to my office, someone will call you if we're done voting." I nodded at what Sir Elijah said.
I walked out of the kitchen, took off the hair net, spit guard, and put it in the pocket of the apron. While I was walking, I met many people who smiled at me, of course they experienced it too. I just sat on the sofa and prayed.
*After 10 minutes*
*Door opens*
"Miss Vandelmort you can come over" Aby greeted me with a smile.
"Am I passed?" I asked nervously but she just shrugged.
I slowly got up and walked out, I just followed her to the kitchen. My heartbeat beats faster like DUGDUGDUG! SIOMAIIII! I'M GONNA DIEEEEEEE.
"Hey! You passed, we were congratulating you earlier HAHAHAHA" I gasped in a trance and smiled raw at them (is there a ready smile? HAHAHAHA CHAROT!)
"Thank you" I said happily and bowed.
"Be thankful to Sir Elijah, if its not for him, you're surely failed" Hannah said at the same time and walked out. I frowned at what she said.
"Alright guys! Let's go back to work, we have a lot of orders." The head chef said and they went to do their jobs.
"Don't pay attention to that, she is jealous of you because you are now sir's assistant." Aby whispered to me and tapped me on the shoulder.
I just smiled and nodded at her in response.
"Come with me" said Sir Elijah in a baritone voice.
"Yes sir" makes me dance the catriona dance HAHAHAHA joke stop me!
I just followed him into his office, he sat on his swivel chair and motioned for me to sit.
"I know you're just a beginner but I trust you on this, we have to attend the party of Mr. Wood. We need to cook for them in the reception live, we'll practice this weekend so be ready." He explained to me while signing papers.
"Yes sir, I will do my best for this task and make you proud." I smiled and said to him.
"The actual is next week Tuesday so please be ready ok? Now you may go home." My eyes got big, is it just like that? I'm going home soon?
"Going home right away? Do you have anything to do or whatever?" My forehead wrinkled when I asked him.
"Go home, don't tell me you want me to take you?" He asked with a laugh.
"No need sir, thanks. I'll take my leave and take care" I said and bowed as a goodbye.
When I got home I just lay down on the sofa and took a nap.
